inorigj Posted November 1, 2024 Report Posted November 1, 2024 (edited) Hey! Yea I like the "new" items that was added to the /blockade command, but I still think there are things that should be added to improve the look and feel if a "Scene" with MD, PD and SD The items I think should be added are the following: "Scene light, that can be used to light up a scene/incident during the night" prop_worklight_01a "Small scene light, that can be used to light up a scene/incident during the night at a smaller scene" prop_worklight_02a "Water collision cone, that can be used while working on a scene at the highway, instead of the small cones that trucks and SUV's can easily jump or drive over" prop_barrier_wat_03b "Triage bed that can be used inside the medical triage tent. Right now we're using stretchers, they work. but does not make much sense considering a scene these are used are shootouts where a lot of people are injured. and a ambulance only has 2 stretchers each. This way the stretchers could be used for transporting and the beds to hold injured before transport. imp_prop_impexp_campbed_01 Edited November 1, 2024 by inorigj 2 Quote

Every time I call them to help on a scene, I feel that I feel to block the road because they're left so open Edited November 1, 2024 by Loca_Mocha Quote
Kellie Posted November 1, 2024 Report Posted November 1, 2024 +1 to this and also +1 to timmaayy Quote
CharlesXiao Posted November 1, 2024 Report Posted November 1, 2024 +1 I do think they should disappear when your player gets to a certain range. Too often does PD forget to remove them and ppl crash and die due to it Quote

I'd agree to this but, there is a lot of times we leave them there to transport someone, while the scene is still active with officers/medics. as we go to MD and come back Quote
Quietthecutie Posted November 2, 2024 Report Posted November 2, 2024 (edited) +1 on a tangental note i would love to see flares that last longer than 30 seconds. in a fast situation or as a quick signalling measure before setting up more permanent barriers flares could be a cool option, but currently they fizzle out so fast that no one bothers. Yeah. I use flares when in the middle of a wide turn. I throw a flare in to the turn so that people notice something is a head before they see me. But I need to keep re-throwing em Quote

Only issue with flares is they have a sync issue, where if you are outside of the render range of them when they are initially thrown down, they most often don't show up for people that come into their render range afterwards. For the suggestion, the lights and cones make sense to add, not sure about the bed tho. +1 for mechanics getting some cones and arrows. Would be nice also if /removeblockade worked for ANYONE in your own faction, and not just the person that placed them, so that if someone forgets to pick their stuff up and run the command, someone else can do it for them. How it works now is if someone forgets to remove their blockades, we have to go in faction chat or PM them and to remove their stuff.... Quote

The triage beds make sense for MD and people who RP with MD who are interested in better immersion versus just a pickup&go, or where a stretcher (which has wheels and is heavier) doesn't make sense for example.
