  1. Interview Result Mister Chase, Thank you for attending our interview. After taking the time to review your results with our team, sadly, we must inform you that we have decided to decline your application for the following reason Failed aptitude test ((need to improve rp as discussed)) We welcome you to reapply in 1 Week. Thank you for your time and your effort during the recruitment process. The Los Santos Customs team wishes you the best of luck in your search for employment. Kind Regards Lynn Foster Trainer
  2. Date and time (provide timezone): All Week/ EST Character name: Lynn Foster Issue/bug you are reporting: so didn't notice till today cause I don't check often, but if I look at my salary it shows no hours for MD and that I'm not clocked on or in uniform when I am. Have restarted the game and my pc multiple times this week and deleted clientdata. It seems my JB hours work just fine. Expected behavior: When I am clocked on and in uniform at MD I should be counted as such and accrue hours. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate:
  3. +1 I like when things are easier and make more sense.
  4. +1 would make communication so much easier, and notifications that you have missed messages or calls would be amazing
  5. +1 I feel this in my soul....and my eardrums
  6. I don't think it falls under NLR, cause the player doesn't always die as has been pointed out, though I think having the 7 day period is a good idea in either case. Having a simple restriction on the ooc amount of time can account for things like injuries/psych holds that we don't rp and give us an easy way to say "hey you just made a suicide attempt, you need to wait a week before trying again, please see rule X" and there is no room for arguing about motivations or need for reports or evidence of poor rp. As I said I've had very rewarding rp exchanges involving suicidal characters, these are not the issue, I don't want the ability to rp suicidal behavior to be restricted, just the frequency. We do have some players who don't rp it as well, use themselves as hostages for demands, and/or leave pillbox to go threaten to jump off of something again. While a case can be made that this could violate other rules I think this solution is much clearer and simpler for everyone from the character trying the rp, to the medics, and even the mods/admins who would have to take any reports.
  7. We get CRU calls for it, so fairly certain it's permitted. When well done, it is deep and rewarding RP and should be allowed in my opinion. Though as it could be considered taking yourself hostage, I think its frequency should be restricted.
  8. Sorry I meant to put this under rules suggestions.
  9. Could we add to Rule 14. or somewhere under FearRP or NRP something similar to the rule for kidnapping/hostage taking? "All included players may not take another hostage for 1 OOC week if police are involved. " So something like; Players may not attempt suicide again for 1 OOC week if police or EMS are involved or if successful their reasons for doing so are removed by NLR. It's bad enough that some players will (unrealistically) rp that they will commit suicide if they're not given x, y, or 100k, but it's even more draining when they turn around and repeat it after being treated.
  10. I'm not an LEO or a crim, but I'd say anything that allows rp to feel more natural is a good thing. I was not happy about NCZs being removed at first, and as a medic it has kind of been a pain in the rear as our parking situation is not great and upper pillbox can frequently get chaotic with fights and shootouts. It's not fun trying to rp brain surgery or checking up with an icu patient and constantly hear fighting in the lobby. However the NCZs being gone has allowed for some thoroughly enjoyable and in depth rp at pillbox, and I wouldn't trade that away for the previously mentioned inconvenience. While I don't believe bringing NCZs back is a good solution, I would like to see more done to deter blatantly non rp actions done in these areas. Reporting is not always an option because I would not have seen most of the situation or would not rply be able to leave a surgery patient. Perhaps we could be a bit stricter with NRP violations in what would be high security areas like hospitals and police stations, something that would allow RP but cut down on the memey behavior which disrupts the rp of others. Maybe we could put in a /report that references the cctvs without having to interrupt our own rp?
