Make radio frequency UI toggleable in CTRL+U

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

There's a myriad of reasons why people do not wish to show their frequency on their screen, from streamers to people posting clips for reports that might be shown to other players.

Active frequency can be easily checked with a number of ways, including a slash command, UI through the inventory and so on.

Please add a toggle to hide the frequency from the screen.

In addition, the fact that the UI is animated when you are not speaking is wholly distracting.

It would be a good QoL addition to have a toggle for it, but I don't think its that big an issue right now. The only way it gets metagamed is if someone shares their screen, whether through streaming or a POV clip, and in those instances, an overlay can just be used to block it off.

this really needs to be a thing.

even with an overlay, the position of the radio frequency changes based on how many people are talking in local or radio, so you have to have a massive overlay to block it. as a streamer on the server its a pain in the ass, and any overlay thats big enough to cover it under most circumstances looks like shit.

PLEASE let us toggle being able to see the radio freq.

Massive +1, streamers have to hide their radio freq & it’s an eyesore tying to cover it up, it has no value being on screen in my opinion but I won’t suggest removing it, just being able to toggle it!
