  1. Yeah, but even winning 10k is an hour or more worth of time at a freelance job or any legal job. I still have to disagree overall. Its a casino, not a charity.
  2. I like the concept, but if someone is standing right next to the table or your character, they wouldn't be able to see what was said due to the script limitation, which wouldn't make any sense.
  3. I don't see the correlation between the casino and the MD healing price. Regardless, I am in favor of the new price. It encourages more interaction with actual medics and also encourages players to be more careful with their character. People tackling and punching each other randomly because they can get a cheap heal at MD with no RP doesn't make much sense. If the heal hits peoples bank a bit harder, they might think twice before doing something damaging to their character.
  4. Following the point made above by Ash, it doesn't make much sense to have blackjack in prison. Poker is just cards between players without having a house issuing cards.
  5. Has anyone checked how prices were impacted since the recent patches to criminal sell prices? This could be a non-issue now...
  6. I can understand the idea, but this would just create a source of free money. Currently, the wheel just pays out straight chips. If you spun for free once a day, that can result in anywhere from 5k to 250k in free money for doing nothing but logging in. Not good for the server economy.
  7. I haven't seen it happen recently, but I also haven't pushed alot of vehicles...
  8. There is existing data that shows that trucking payouts are good as they are. Yes, sometime the pay won't be as good, but thats balanced with the times where you will make higher than average.
  9. I can agree with the part about parking the trailer after the job is done, but no extra money is needed for the job in general. Trucker provides a good amount of income as it stands now...no adjustments needed.
  10. I understand and agree with the concept the way you suggest it, but I don't think this would work. If you put a flatbed into private civilains hands, any player could just take one and start trolling or griefing other people's vehicles, picking them up and chopping them easily, or dropping them in water, etc. It would be beyond annoying and bad for the server to have a vehicle as powerful as the flatbed available to everyone.
  11. This is a repeat suggestion. This has been brought up probably a dozen times already in prior suggestions. Although I do agree with it.
  12. Cruise control already is a function for road vehicles (I don't think it works for boats). Set your cruise speed with /cruise and then press L.
  13. Wetness is used to describe a liquids capability to spread over a solid surface. Water is not very wet, given it is a polar liquid and does not want to spread, but rather polarize to itself. Hand soap is actually used to make water wetter by removing some of its polarity to allow it to spread over our hands more. So the wetness of water can actually be altered, based on its polarity change.
  14. I understand and can agree with the concept of the suggestion, but it simply would not work in ECRP. Reason being is that there is limited character customization capability, making it so you can't necessarily always tell the different between characters simply by looking at them in game. Also, some people choose to only use text chat rather than voice. Due to limited character customization, the only other way to distinguish them is by their voices, and if a player chooses to not use voice chat, then you would never be able to properly remember them.
  15. Date and time (provide timezone): January 25th, 2024 / 12:43AM UTC Character name: Bill Breacher Issue/bug you are reporting: Despite the fix implemented in today's server update, the police cruiser is unable to be (un)locked, turned on or off, or use turn signals while the Mini MDC is open. Ctrl+R does however work now with the Mini MDC open. Expected behavior: When trying to operate the vehicle, such as turning it on or off, or lock or unlock it, you should be able to regardless if the Mini MDC is open or not. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Open the mini MDC and press any of the keybinds to lock the vehicle and turn it on or off, or use the turn signals and they will not work with the Mini MDC open. Those functions work properly once the mini MDC is closed. Vehicle license plate number*: Any law enforcement vehicle with MDC capability.
  16. Can't really go into IC details as it would be Metagaming, but if you have a good vehicle to carry parts and tools and find a good spawned NPC vehicle, you can just drive the NPC vehicle to a good isolated spot and chop it. Like I said, I have done this plenty and never got caught. Its just about finding good chop targets and good locations.
  17. The thing to consider with chopping is it might not be massive payout, but its low risk compared to other criminal activities. I have been able to chop cars for hours on end as a solo crim without ever getting caught or seen by anyone. Cars are super easy (as long as you are smart about it) to take to isolated areas and chop them without any issues, at least if you just do doors and tires with the basic tools and a car jack. This is also not to mention you can setup a larger chop at any property and again, as long as you do it in a smart way, you can have a free pass to keep chopping without much chance of getting caught.
  18. I don't see it as an issue if there is at least one lab that might not be as good. If larger gangs are more focused on one or two labs, and the third is left in the background and not bothered with, this is good, since it provides opportunity for smaller groups or solo crims a chance to participate in cooking.
  19. Per the feedback from FM in the community meeting, this sounds like its already a work in progress. The changes and release of FM 2.0 will have to occur and then I am sure this is something that could potentially come along with that. Just have to allow time for the staff team to finish their "rework".
  20. There are several options already available to solo criminals, things that I have personally done as a solo criminal for hours and made decent money: Chopping cars for only their doors and wheels. I have done this quite a lot and never been caught and never been robbed. House robberies solo. This is fairly easy and only requires a vehicle to move the stuff. ATM robberies. These recently got their payout buffed and the chances of having the cops called reduced, making it quite a good option. Solo private lab cooking in an RV or right outside your house. Stealing from, or robbing other players. Doing jobs for bigger gangs, such as being a drug or gun dealer for them. This is more viable now that guns are cheaper and drugs are actually useful on the street to players. I am sure I could name more as well, but I think you get the idea. There are more than enough solo crim options already.
  21. I don't think citybees should be changed. They are a bottom tier vehicle used out of necessity and the downsides they have are justified to encourage players, especially new players, to purchase an actual vehicle to use.
  22. This also impacts freelance jobs. Doing garbage collector or money truck, you are running over to grab the trash and you tackle if you don't release shift in time. Same with money truck grabbing a cash bag from the truck.
  23. I find the logic behind the suggestion and reasoning to be an issue. If the case is being made that criminals are having a hard time making money and they lose all their stuff constantly, your suggested solution to the problem at hand is to make legal roleplayers suffer with them? Rather than suggest a fix for the alleged issues, spread the issues to others. Doesn't really seem ideal. The issue should be dealt with by fixing the problem, not spreading it to others. As to the points being made, as AlexAlex already mentioned, Law Enforcement factions are reactionary. They do what is needed to properly police. If one gang starts piping up and shooting cops every day, evading police constantly, robbing banks non-stop, then measures will be taken against them to ramp up force and policing to deal with the problem. The suggestion here is to make police pay for the equipment they use and make them lootable. There is also a comment above regarding an alleged issue with "hero cops" and the solution is to make them lootable. If this were implemented and cops run the risk of losing their things and criminals getting ahold of those assets, what do you think police are going to do? Let criminals run free because they are too scared to get out of their vehicle? Quite the opposite....every traffic stop will not have 4 police cruisers on it, but 8 instead. Every ATM or store robbery will not have one or two cops pulling up to it, but an armored truck full of 200 AP, heavy rifle SWAT officers. Steps will be taken to minimize the risk and to ensure criminals don't get ahold of the guns from cops. If there are complaints about police raids on criminal properties now, imagine if some gang members shot and killed a couple cops and took their guns. You can expect 2-3x as many doors being knocked down by the SWAT team. Every situation would have a helicopter with a sniper gunner in it to ensure cops aren't being shot for their weapons. If the military style police state described above is what you would like to see, by all means, keep pushing for the suggestion made.
  24. +1 as long as it is scriptly limited to certain circumstances, so it cannot be abused and someone just holds X the entire time they are driving and it hides the /alias or name but not ID. Someone who is involved in a rule break situation while driving should still have their ID always visible so players can properly get the evidence they need for a report.
