You're correct. I isolated the issue in one faction, because the issues stated above are from one singular faction. There is no context - this is an on-going issue, not a situation that happened in the past and involved specific players. This is a server-wide issue and I think the founders should be notified in regards to any and all broken vehicles. I think they didn't do enough testing before they added them to the server. My brother in christ. I'm asking PD to match the force, if someone is shooting a .50, then the cop should utilize a .50. A carbine MK2 against someone with a .50 is clearly unfair.. It's all stated above in the post.. This isn't about IC IA/complaints. I don't care about winning, I care about having fun and enjoying my time on the server. That's what everyone wants to achieve, to enjoy this GAME after a long day at work.

I just want to start by saying that I’m all for realistic RP and all that. But I genuinely feel like certain people in a specific faction do everything in their power to strip the enjoyment out of RP interactions just for their own amusement. The constant “full throttle, 100% every single time” approach to RP isn’t fun or healthy for the criminal side of the server. I know I’m just beating a dead horse here, because people have been complaining about this exact thing since 2021-2022, but I’m going to say it anyway. The way this faction handles things is unbearable, and it’s actively pushing people to quit the server or take long LOAs. Here’s an example: A certain faction always pulls out the heaviest weapons they have, even against suspects who aren’t wearing armor and are only using a .50 pistol. A .50 pistol against a cop with an AP and a Carbine MK2 is basically useless, unless the cop misses every shot. I think it takes around 13 hits to drop a cop with AP, but I could be wrong. Either way, how is that even fair from an OOC perspective? Why can't the crim have a chance here? Why the "W" must be secured? This is a game, not real life. And when things are this unbalanced, people get frustrated. Both sides should have a fair chance, but when one side goes "all in" every single time, it completely kills the fun of the server. And to make things even worse (because how on god's green earth can we make things even worse - they asked) that faction has now handed out Carbine MK2s and Jugulars to their PO3s. The Carbine MK2 is the best heavy in the game in terms of meta stats, and the Jugular is overall the best high-speed vehicle. That carbine MK2 was meant for METRO/SWAT, yet now it’s being given to any cop who hits PO3 and does their certification, which, by the way, only takes four months in the faction to get to that rank. As for the Jugular, it used to be a supervisor-only vehicle, but now any certified PO3 can use it. Do you know how many PO3s there are? A lot. So now, at almost any given time, PD has access to the best weaponry and vehicles, making things even more one-sided, because the 15 cruisers and the shinobis and the heli isn't enough apparently. Claiming this is "just IC stop crying on the forums just take the L its all RP blah blah" is a straight-up bullshit excuse. It’s not JUST IC, things like this need to be regulated OOC to maintain a balanced and healthy server. I can guarantee if the entirety of PD's high command plays crim for only 1 month, alot of this shit will change. I am not surprised they can't see the issue when the majority of them never played crim since they joined the server years ago. OR, they did but crim was way different back in 2019-2020. I do apologize for not sugarcoating this topic; I’ve done enough of that in the past, and I’m over it. Unfortunately, this is the reality of things right now. On the bright side, SD are still enforcing their own OOC regulations to keep things fair for criminals. Why PD can't do the same? SD don’t hand out Carbines and Jugulars to their Master Deputies, and when it comes to interacting with crims and applying charges, they operate as a completely different law enforcement faction. My question is, how much longer do crims have to put up with this???? The issue here is as clear as day. NOTE: I ask you, If you've never played crim before and have always been PD, PLEASE, DO NOT comment on this 'cause I am not interested in reading one-sided comments.

A while ago, I purchased four sets of spikes from a player, which turned out to be faction-spawned. Recently, a new update was implemented that automatically despawns all faction equipment after six hours. [Items] Items with faction icon modifier will auto delete themselves after 6 hours Today, when I went to grab them as I wanted to use them for an RP thing, I found out they were gone. I paid 40k per set (160k in total). I submitted a report and staff said they wont issue a refund. Apparently, the update was introduced because some LEOs were abusing the faction script by spawning items and selling them at the pawn shop for financial benefit. The question is, why should I have to suffer the financial loss because of someone else's abuse? I lost 160k due to this change, which wasn't my fault.

I honestly don't think we should overthink it lmao. I mean, if they wanna say it, because they lost a situation and wanna be toxic, then let them. It ain't that deep. A punishment sounds like a stretch to me. Not every single thing no matter how minor it is must be moderated by staff. You either ignore, or you respond.

I'll also keep this short and simple - Just say "/b No." The rule is quite clear; if someone wanna drop a "save pov" in chat, then they must provide you with a reasoning as to why they want you to save pov. If this simple rule can't be followed, then you have the choice to not entertain their behavior.

Rules apply to everyone for balancing purposes. Also, what makes you think the cop won't shoot you? In my book, if you run away, i'll shoot you. Also, aren't you banned for ban evading? This shouldn't concern you..

I'm still running on an RTX 2060 and a pretty epic AMD 5700X3D CPU. I get between 180-350 FPS around the map with an RP graphics mod - never had any issues even at intensive areas like MRPD/Legion Square/Pillbox. RageMP relies heavily on your CPU - so if your CPU is having issues running at optimal speed, such as thermal throttling, then FPS drops will happen. Also, posters/rage mods are generally CPU intensive, so the GPU here is irrelevant unless you're running on a 4GB VRAM, and if that's the case, then you'll only lose textures, not FPS (for the most part)

Snipers will be more impactful due to their effective range and damage per hit.

If what Bala said is the case here, then snipers shouldn't be used in labs that have MLOs, for fairness; problem solved! However the desync bug Alexx mentioned is quite common but.. that doesn't negate the main issue here.

Repeatedly slamming into another car to move it from point A to B for only god knows how long makes absolutely zero sense. If you think that's RP, then I honestly don't know what to say.

Our stance on ban evading is firmly negative, as it often harms the player experience. As those ban evaders have nothing to lose, they tend to act in a malicious manner toward members of the community and it certainly does not make any sense for us to allow this to happen. At this point in time, our stance regarding ban evading will remain unchanged.

The "speaker mod" is essentially a HSW mod but the mod label/name is incorrect in /modview. HSW mods were exclusive to consoles but Rockstar decided to push them to PC, unsure if it was intentional or not. I honestly don't see a reason as to why we should lower the speed cap, and how it affects "RP". I agree with you some cars do get to 240 in 3 seconds which could be a lil silly but those cars are not that common. How many people own a Niobe? Not than many and it's not being abused imo because that's how it performs stock. It just got the HSW mod so I guess blame rockstar? Also, when you nerf a vehicle that does 240, you're indirectly buffing vehicles that can't do 240, benefiting anyone that only has access to a 200km/h vehicle. This sounds a little off topic. But I'll say this, yes criminals have access to heavy guns/MK2 guns, but so PD. Back then, cops had access only to pistols, pumps mk1, and 100AP, and only sergeant+ had access to a regular carbine, now, PO3s have access to carbine mk2 which is arguably the best heavy weapon you can use + 150/200AP if you're METRO. So I'd say things are relatively balanced right now.
