  1. This is true. When I used to play here, a lot of people complained about GnD in labs but I haven’t personally seen it happen. Labs were scouted but it was backed up by a valid IC reason at the time. A trace or a snitch etc. Also true. A lot of reports are petty and staff should address this properly rather than going to one person to ask if the report is petty or not. Not every report should result in a punishment and the handling staff member should ask themselves if the report was made in good faith or not. This report-anything-cause-i-lost-a-0.50 trend is so ridiculous.
  2. Oh god. I’ve seen this film before.
  3. This will screw up and worsen the already inflated economy; -1
  4. IRL, one bullet could end up killing a healthy man. Here, in this GTA universe, you need to be shot 1-10 times depending on the weapon being used to get downed or to be placed in an injured state. You're correct in saying this is a game, because it is a game. If we’re going to assume 2 or 4 or 6 or 10 or whatever amount of bullets are enough to render you dead or untreatable, then nobody will go to jail LOL. If you want to kill your character or RP death, then thats totally allowed and doesn't require staff approval (afaik) provided that the character will actually be dead, meaning you won’t ever play on it. I think what’s more “unrealistic” is popping 5 blunts in a fight just to regain health points to clap more people.
  5. I mean, if anything, this will entice the PvP mentality that some people have even more. I personally don’t see anything good coming out of this considering the current circumstances and the state of the server. The script should remain in place to prevent any abuse; that was the whole idea behind it.
  6. What if the player says no because they value their privacy regardless of how the anti cheat work? See, the issue with this, is the moment you say “No, I value my privacy”, you're gonna become guilty in senior staff’s view, because that’s how shit works here. It doesn’t matter if you’re cheating or not, the only thing that matters, is what they think of you. Looking back, I can see how this entire approach could lead to problems later on.
  7. +1. Half of the criminal population are cheating, and ever since that certain someone was forced out by certain people, more cheaters and evaders have swarmed in.
  8. Mind shedding some light on how one gang can lead to others getting screwed? You do have an MDC right? You use that to get the name of the owner of the vehicle you've pulled over right? So you would have an idea if they're going to be hostile toward you or not, based on their criminal record? On regular patrol, you tend to deal with random crims more than known clappers, those random crims usually sit at burgershot yapping all day. Pulling up with 150AP is not fair? Those crims will have a .50 with 33 rounds at best, if not a heavy pistol.. It's about fairness. I am on team "Cops should be overpowered" but only to a certain extent. Overpowered doesn't mean you have the best of the best equipment available to you at all times. Also.. 1000AP? Really..? 150 is not enough? Bro wants to be a juggernaut With this logic, PD should import a Fighter Jet. I've heard the "Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II" is pretty good.
  9. See, that’s the issue. You are convinced that all crims will act the same way. You’re going full throttle on everyone because of one or two clapper gangs. Flexibility and adaptability are thrown out of the window.
  10. Can you be more specific? The way you're wording this makes it sound like “All criminals shoot cops on sight”
  11. This issue came up before, and FS put their foot down disallowing criminal factions from importing, specifically, the Pump Mk2 because it was way too overpowered. MK2s in general are OP and expensive, so not every criminal will be running around with one. But, of course, that same logic doesn’t seem to apply to the factions on the other side of the aisle. Crazy right? Back to the Pump Mk2s, FS said no to importing them and promised to remove them from the economy altogether. So, what happened after 90% of criminals lost access to them? FS turned around and said, "You know what? Let’s import a few… and hand them out to our favorite criminals as a little reward." Brother… why? Didn’t you want these gone? Weren’t you trying to purge the server of Pump Mk2s? What exactly changed? Now here's the fucked up reality. It feels like our beloved senior staff didn't have the purest intentions behind this, because from the looks of things, it does look like they wanted to indirectly nerf the mortal crims under the guise of a "broken gun we can't keep that". What else did you think would happen when you stripped the Pump Mk2 from the criminal economy but let LEOs keep theirs to wipe the floor with everyone? I mean surely that wasn’t the plan, right? It’s simple. Either remove it from everyone’s loadout, or let everyone keep it. Don’t come around with "Oh, we can’t remove it from LEOs just yet because three criminals still have a few stashed away in their apartments" like that’s a valid reason. Brother.. That’s just a weak excuse. You do realize those guns will end up as collector’s items anyway, right? Right? This whole situation's bent over, cheeks spread wide. Just put the fries in the bag lil bro. Unreasonable suggestion I'm afraid. Even IRL, helis are used in pursuits. In an ideal world, I would say no, but since that shit is broken here with objects not loading correctly from a distance, then +1 +1 It's crazy seeing patrol units rolling with 150AP, even if they're SWAT, they should only put on 150AP when shit goes down. But during regular patrol, it's kinda weird icl. Played cop/crim for 5 years, never seen it happen personally, and reports regarding this were denied due to GnD having a valid IC reason to roll into/raid a lab. You need to understand that labs are fucked. The whole concept is flawed. Don't blame GnD for doing their job. Blame those who made labs so fucked. Blame those who turned this "RP" server into a "PvP" server. I literally fought a cop with 175AP near Humane Labs entrance, and I clapped him. That happened around 2 months ago. It looked like they were wearing a bomb squad suit.
  12. You’ve just described GTA World. This isn’t GTA World and never will be in terms of RP standards. Both sides here have a PvP mentality so it sounds a bit biased to blame one side and praise the other. Let me give you an example. Gang A is full of PvPers, and they decide that today, they’re gonna clap every cop they see just for the memes and the laughs. PD responds by importing MK2 heavies. Cool, now the shit starts. Other gangs, ones that aren’t even beefing with PD like that, are getting wiped. Why? Because one cop with a Carbine MK2 can drop two crims with .50s in a heartbeat. Now that gang’s pissed. They keep losing pistols, getting arrested, and serving jailtime. So what do they do? They do exactly the same, they start bringing in MK2s themselves. And suddenly, every gang starts feeling the pressure to match that firepower. It’s a ripple effect. Meanwhile, DOC is still garbage for a bunch of reasons, and nobody wants to spend time there. In the end, everyone is rolling with heavies. So the question is, who’s really to blame here? The clapper gang that started the war for the fun of it? Or the cops who kept using MK2s even after the heat died down?
  13. DeAndre King wouldn’t agree with this statement. Just sayin.
  14. Respectfully, the server has turned into a cops and robbers fivem server. It's anything but a roleplay server. People only use those mods to enhance their PvP gameplay and to win more fights. You're not addressing the root cause of the issue here. Also, how can you enforce the "no-crosshair" rule when most gaming monitors have it built in as a feature which cannot be recorded by any software?
  15. Probably one way to combat this, is to increase the prices of all heavy weapons. It's too easy for anyone right now to go to a random crim, and buy one of their 25 heavies for 30k. The 30k they spent was a 20 minute cook at a lab at 7AM in the morning. The way things are, or how it was made, is that FS indirectly gave heavies to all criminals regardless of their RP standards. Those who are part of "high-tier/high-RP standards" factions will not be affected by an increase in price, as they, supposedly, don't care about assets but rather care about RP standards. Also, it would be nice to remove MK2s from the server, keep the variety of heavies/weapons but remove MK2s so things are more balanced across the board. +1
  16. You wouldn't be in the area unless you're involved, and by area, I mean within close proximity of the shootout. A sensible person who doesn't wanna get shot at would leave the area as soon as shots are heard. You're just painting them as clappers who just wanna shoot anything and everything.
  17. Why is it expected from cops to give demands to someone who just committed a violent felony? It doesn’t make rp sense for police to sit there and ask you to surrender lmao of course youre not going to. They are not 3rd party-ing the fight my dude, they’re doing their job.. they’re not criminals. In terms of server rules, the DM rule aims to protect players from being randomly attacked, as in without knowing why they were attacked. If you kill someone or involve yourself in a mass shootout, I’m sure you would know why you got lit up.
  18. I see where you’re coming from. “Bury them in paperwork” - a tactic law firms use to weaken their opposition. I doubt it will work here tho because there are no real consequences to ghosting people.
  19. Criticism is how you make progress. Some people will find it toxic tho because they are on the receiving end.
  20. Making them the judge, jury, and executioner is not the answer haha. People have the right to speak their minds. Remember that PD command are human so there will be a level of bias when handling cases.
  21. I’d love to see some proof. Was there a survey, or are we just making assumptions now? Nobody’s asking for a fully realistic department, that’s not even possible in GTA. But there’s a huge gap between realism and outright absurdity. Proof? Was there a survey by chance, or are we just making assumptions now? Why are we always assuming the absolute worst about crims when they complain about things? Ever thought about why they’re bitching? I get it, prison is not supposed to be fun. But this is a video game. And in a video game, “fun” = engaging. Not an AFK simulator. But that's a different topic for a different day. Not even GTAW does that, lmao. My brother-man… this is a game. A GAME. PEOPLE WANNA PLAY. You’re talking about giving people digital life sentences like this is Death Row RP. Are you yanking my pizzle? HAHAHAHA More assumptions to keep your narrative afloat. You’re not addressing anything that was actually said, just building strawmen to knock down. All the dude did was bring up valid concerns. And all you got from it is “crims wanna win.” Why am I not even remotely surprised? Hmmm... People have been reporting things here, for years. Through all the “proper” channels, too. And nothing ever changes. You guys have access to the forums too so you can see it all no? You tell us to reach out, but every time we do, the outcome is the same, biased responses. It’s just damage control. You say “We’re here to listen” just to appear approachable, but in reality, you don’t give a crap about crims. Because if you did, we would’ve seen actual progress by now. Also, what happened to that public PD announcement, the one that “mysteriously” poofed in the air? You know, the one where you said: That statement was a blatant lie and you knew it. The timing made it painfully obvious too. A bunch of PD detectives received several admin punishments from a “certain“ staff member, and magically, right after that, PD wants change? Come on. That entire announcement was made in bad faith because you literally started it with a blatant lie. I'm not sure how you thought people would actually believe that.. The reality of things is you weren’t being transparent. You were trying to protect your image, not fix anything. You said “we will start making amends“ etc etc etc. The only thing that was amended was the existence of the announcement. And now it’s been deleted!! Shocker. Almost like you didn’t want people to remember what was actually said and the fake promises you made. The reality is, you still aren’t willing to admit that there are real, long-standing issues that need to be addressed, because if you were, we wouldn’t still be having this conversation.
  22. Cars: D10 is dog. The Jugular should only be deployed for high speed chases - the list of high speed cars is long. Yea you might see 3 Jugulars in one pursuit but you can’t do shit about it unfortunately. The Shinobi is used by PD in Issi Sports pursuits, not one but two, which is kinda cringe and screams win mentality, but again you can’t do much about it. Guns: I get it. If you have a pistol, there is 0 chance of winning a fight against a singular cop who has 100AP and a Carbine Rifle Mk2. The issue here stems from the lack of enforcement of IC policies. Cops should pull out heavy weapons only when they’re about to fight someone with a heavy weapon but using the most broken meta heavy rifle in the game against someone without AP and are only using a pistol is kinda cringe. Again, you can’t do much about it. Tasers: There was supposedly an OOC policy that disallow cops from firing a tazer without issuing verbal demands. That lasted for 2 weeks tho lol. Pursuit maneuvers: I agree with you. PITing someone going 200KM/h is kinda weird because you want to arrest them not kill them. Doing so is counterproductive. Look, this server is not GTA World so don’t expect heavy/high RP standards in every interaction. It’s more of a “cops and robbers” server. No one cares about what makes sense and what doesn’t. Ive been here since 2020 and ive watched people complain about the exact same things for 4 years and nothing has changed so don’t get your hopes up LOL.
  23. Exactly. It’s always the same individuals giving their faction a bad name, and more often than not, they’re present on nearly every scene. We’ve been debating this for four years. While some changes have been made, they’ve only brought new issues to light. The standard response from senior staff is to contact faction leadership if you want to submit a complaint. The problem with that is the responses are often biased. Faction leaders are human, and their judgment can be influenced, especially by an officer’s rank or any OOC friendships. An unbiased third party? Sure! Feel free to reach out to LFM if you want to file a complaint. I did, exactly seven times, in fact, and only received a response twice. Back in 2023, I even compiled a document after gathering complaints from crims and sent it to LFM, but I was completely ignored. It’s been four years, and no meaningful changes have been made. If there were ever genuine intentions to improve things, we would’ve seen progress by now. Why do you think people complain about this here on the forums? Because "the official channels" are useless. I'm sorry to whoever may get offended but this is the harsh truth. To me, saying "Reach out to this person or that faction" is just a typical final response to close a thread.
  24. No.. I'm making a post about things that I find unhealthy for the criminal side of the community and affect them every single day. Why are you assuming that I have the absolute worst intention behind this post? See, that's the issue, you think everyone wants to win, which also suggests you are also playing to win. Unfortunately, that isn't accurate and you can't simply make such assumptions a 'reality' in everyone's eyes. Not everyone wants to "win" - a lot of people wanna simply have fun, while also being subject to IC consequences such as getting arrested. I am not saying "stop arresting criminals", I am saying, make things fun by not going full throttle in every situation, and I can guarantee both sides will enjoy the RP at hand. Not really.. I just don't want the same people who commented on previous similar threads to comment again and say the exact same things again. We'll end up running in circles. See, you say give us proof, and I give you a sample and I get ghosted. You, and other players in PD witness the crazy amount of cruisers chasing one car, not to mention shinobis being deployed for cars like the Issi Sports. A decent buffalo driver will keep up with an Issi Sports if supported by a heli, not to mention the 10+ cruisers in the pursuit line, but no, we deploy the most broken meta vehicle on the server, oh wait, we deploy 2 of them (im talking about the shinobi) so we make sure to secure the win. Who's in their right mind would say this is completely fine? I'm sorry if you feel like I was targeting GnD members. Fortunately, there's an appeal process for that and they can appeal their admin punishments. However, I'm pretty sure all the appeals that were posted were denied by Senior Staff, and all punishments were upheld.. So.. i'm not entirely sure why you're bringing this up here.
