You could try changing your display settings to Windowed Mode, see if that helps stop the crashing.

If your password contains any special characters - remove them by using the website account settings.

This is an issue of the multiplayer mod (GT:MP), everyone crashes and we need to live with it, until the multiplayer mod developers make it more stable.
