  1. Absolutely +1 Doesn’t need to be long, just something that gives you chance to cancel doing.
  2. But you're still carrying it? Like if you had 50 volume of items in the bag, it would weight 50? That being said, I do think the base weight should be changed to like 1 or 2 or even 5 because an empty bag over your shoulder is nothing.
  3. Or you could do call outs where you go to them and bring what equipment you need which could allow for a chunk of the RP (barring like surgeries) without need of a property. Would be cool to see someone take this idea and yoink it and develop it since it doesnt make an awful lot of sense taking to MD.
  4. Update: Some of the fences have been moved so far, specifically around the larger open area. We’re aware of the spot in your picture but yet to find an elegant solution to have the right areas walled off. Also on this topic, there’s a clothes spawning spot in the upstairs cell in the corner to the left of the laundry area. This cell has forever been bugged and permanently locked.
  5. This fence is admin spawned, I'll pass it on to get it moved
  6. It's a balance, the reason I think a bunch of people have been annoyed is there's 2-3 large updates going on at once in the background. Back when there was 1 big thing being worked on in the background and smaller more frequent changes and QoL things were added people seemed very satisfied. I think that's the sweet spot to aim for.
  7. Very cool suggestion @Kjaer as mentioned above this has been implemented, archiving the thread
  8. Post pics
  9. Plus let’s be real, nearly every person removing shadows isn’t just doing that, they nearly always have fullbright alongside it so they can see people at night time MUCH clearer than any normal game setting change.
  10. I don't. I frankly don't care for it either way and am indifferent at best, But people have been using these modifications to min-max and gain an advantage using them. Which is why the rule was set in place.
  11. Seems like you're doing fine if you have 60 then
  12. Blame the people who go to shootouts with no shadows and full brightness mods, with black skybox 4:3 stretched aspect ratio. Many people have been focusing on pvp over rp and "optimising" for shootouts and it's ridiculous. I am curious to see how much the trees actually affect performance as I'm yet to see aa proper benchmark of how bad they hit.
  13. Please post pictures sir - Not Don
  14. Just to clarify, it's not RP outside of the script, it's RP that needs to get around the script generally speaking. There's quite a difference here. You can do pretty imaginative RP outside of script actions and capabilities, but if it's something that goes against the way the script/game works then that's when you're doing something alternative. There is plenty of freedom for creative and imaginative roleplay and not everything requires script support.
  15. maybe i try convince MD to make vet division this is a joke
  16. :') My dude, I generally play the character paycheck to paycheck and using the money for rp during the week. I rarely saved it, and don't have a mountain of years of DOC paychecks (and assets before you say that) sitting around. I think anyone who interacts with me can back that up and knows I'm a broke bitch. But either way that's besides the point, you can do trafficker RP without a boat, in fact I have seen it done several times. One faction literally trafficked people, another alcohol to name some I've seen first hand. I do not doubt there's issues with getting money for criminals, in fact I can totally respect that after seeing a new guy grind and lose all of his shit after one arrest yesterday. But I don't think that pertains too much to the overall discussion. This isn't about money, it's about having things to do. And too many people rely on script support, specifically new updates (and also money) to have things to do. Sure if you want to make your gameplay revolve around things that cost money then yeah, that's a road block. The money issue is a totally different discussion to the one about having nothing to do or things getting repetitive. If things are repetitive then frankly, you're just not roleplaying enough and gamifying the scripted systems instead of generating your own scenarios and roleplay and things to do like you should in an RP server.
  17. I mean this just objectively isn’t true. Things being repetitive is on you, not the developers, there is absolutely enough content to keep busy. But obviously things will get boring and repetitive if you stick to the same stuff and don’t develop your rp.
  18. People complain when things are teased and take a while, and people also complain when there’s no communication. It’s a lose-lose really with the only option being teased and released fast, which results in unfinished or badly tuned updates, which then is more complaints. Do I think they could do with an extra dev or two, sure why not. But I absolutely understand why they wouldn’t want to let in another developer. I honestly think people are way too needy and just can’t be content with what they have. Getting to the sweet spot where you make do and rp with what we have is the best way to be and then any updates that do come our way, neat! I personally preferred when we had smaller more frequent updates like quality of life stuff over huge new systems but I’m not gonna go complaining that 2/3 of the current long projects are criminal things that have basically no relevance to my RP style because that’s just how it is.
  19. The worst bit is a bunch of bikes don’t even allow car speakers. So when I ride my faggio I can’t play music and just hear the humming for my long journey. however, going by your logic most cars should have car speakers by default since nearly every car irl has this functionality. Would be cool if stock cars came with one
  20. Cool idea but to be honest there’s too many grinders and people with literal millions that would make this just a money spawn. So a -1 on the interest part. However , I like the idea of something taking $x out if your salary until you hit a savings goal. For example: you want to buy a car for 100k but you are bad with money so you set the savings in the bank to 100k and it takes say 20% of your salary each time until you’ve hit that 100k then it’s there to withdraw. That would be a super fun mechanic and way to implement savings. Maybe withdraw early but at a cost or cool-down on making a new savings account.
  21. Should just be removed tbh. The ratio of time off for stamps is abysmal anyway. But I don’t go there as an inmate often so my opinion on that is limited
  22. Or as suggested for a long time, allow inmates (and guards) to buy stamps at like 4:1 ratio with bank money (when released stamps currently turn to cash at 1:3 so it could even be a small economy drain). That would also allow guard to participate and also purchase stamps as rewards and incentives for inmates behaviour (as opposed to the current system of spawned in stamps)
  23. Literally just make minimum bet 1. People don’t play to win money, they play to kill a minute of time in prison. Most inmates stamps are spent in food and drink, or robbed by the end of their sentence anyway so nobody cares about the money aspect.
  24. I don't like the idea of it being a credit thing, and think it could get silly with a bunch of them being there. The +30 casino penthouses as a baseline, this is muuch more unique and flashy and I imagine would be a bigger seller. So -1 from me for the credit aspect. BUT, I think this'd be a neat unique property like the islands possibly auctioned or something. So a property inside you could own and build in with a couple scattered around the coast and you'd RPly own the yacht. Them moving I don't think is viable technically speaking (I could be wrong), so they'd be static but I think it'd be a very cool RP enabler if someone super rich did stuff with them. The one off the coast of the pier has had many parties in its time as an un-owned one so I can imagine one owned by a player could generate some RP, especially with boat parking being a think making them more usable and helicopters being a thing.
  25. Could just use a taxi tbh but the suggestion does make sense overall
