"At times when there is no police from LSPD in town the sheriff's can patrol inside the city." Then why join a Sheriff's Department instead of the City Police Department? Makes no sense to me. This is what's going to happen, jurisdictional BS. If a Sheriff's Department is made, they're restricted to the county and that's it unless a pursuit or mobile situation takes them inside the city. If the activity is low in the county, then perhaps a Sheriff's Department isn't needed. If the activity was high, they wouldn't need to be inside the city at all for any other reasons than aforementioned.

The server currently doesn't support a separate department IMO, the Police Department is struggling in certain times with members and I don't see how it would help implementing another law enforcement agency. I just don't understand what a Sheriff's Department would do at times when there are less than 30 players online, there's barely anyone outside the city at those times.

Hey, sometimes your car isn't positioned at the same location on everyone's games. For example; if you park in front of the police station, your vehicle is eventually going to appear inside the lobby for others; sometimes vehicles that are being sold at the car market appears at other locations on the map. This is what could be happening in terms of them finding your car.

You're meant to use the new command /record In-Game (which pulls your phone up). If you have typed /record, then any SSs or video footage will be taken In Character. If you get injured and then killed, per NLR, you are not meant to take any hostile actions against that person. By reporting them, it would be a violation of NLR. However, if you survive the injury (as in, gets taken to the hospital), then you're not in violation of NLR if you report that person. However, PD doesn't allow violent corruption on an OOC level; mainly because 1) If it's allowed, it'll be too common. 2) We are here to provide the community with good RP. 3) Again, we want to be fair towards the community. There are no consequences to a cop dying, they get their guns for free and their cars for free, whereas if you die, you actually lose wealth. That's why we don't allow cops to be corrupt on a major scale, i.e. execute people on the ground (although, if they execute you for no reason, you can post a regular server report against them as that'd be RDM). If you feel that you've been the victim of violent OOC corruption, you can always contact PD's Internal Affairs. Bear in mind that this is a PD rule, and not a server rule. It's to make sure that we keep high standards on our officers.

Pretty much what Pepe said. Forgot his name, the batman dude, he evades the police easily in his super car. Mike Rich (Simms) evades the police easily in his comet, even on the highway. Leon Chan used to evade us all the time in his exemplar. I'm not sure why you're not able to evade us. We've not had any more changes to our cars since the beginning of time. Stock GTA V police cars aren't meant to be realistic, Rockstar did not intend on making this realistic. But when you turn GTA into an RP game mode, adjustments need to be made. Why are you evading in a super car in the first place? There wouldn't need to be any adjustments to police cars if people could properly play a role and not do something that no sane person would do in real life. (How often do you read about million dollar cars evading the police IRL? I watch pursuit videos quite often on YouTube.) "Owning an expensive car won't benefit you really as the police cruiser can outrun any car. " The point of owning an expensive car shouldn't be to outrun the police. God, imagine if you crash it, the maintenance costs to repair that body and perhaps the engine or other components in the car. Oh, not really eh? 300 bucks at Mors and some more hundred at the mechanic shop for the engine. Don't mean to come off as aggressive, just trying to get my opinion across. If people could stop evading in super cars, then our cars could be kept on the same level as all other cars.

Yes, there should be some optional double authenticator process for when somebody on a different IP tries to access your account.

I don't use AutoHotkey on GTA V mainly because it's extremely bugged for some reason. If you have anything else but an English keyboard layout, it won't work. It'll simply to 7 instead of /. So if you want it to work, set your keyboard/default language to English. Also, make sure that you run AutoHotkey as an admin. I made these binds below for you, change the "KEYBIND" to whatever key you want to use, i.e. Numpad8. The MASK is OOC, as confirmed by a Developer, so there's absolutely no need for us to remove it using /me's unless they've put on a mask through RP means (which 9/10, they just /mask). Regardless of that, if you had read the bug report, you would understand that this has nothing to do with their masks being on, but rather a bug that disallows us from using our commands are intended. We're meant to be able to perform actions against the MASK ID (NUMBER_NUMBER), but it's not possible to add charges to their mask ID through the MDC due to a bug in the script. :)

Hey Dave. Welcome to Eclipse RP! The game crashing is something that everyone is experiencing, there's nothing that you can do about it personally. It's related to GT-MP (the network & client), and the crashes are more common in Eclipse due to the heavy CEF-based script. (CEF is Chromium Embedded Framework which basically means all the interactive menus that we've got in the server, i.e. the police MDC, rules list, faction list, shop lists etc). It'll be fixed in due time. In order to change your graphics settings, you have to press P on your keyboard whilst in the main menu of Grand Theft Multiplayer.

These 3 things don't go well together. If you want more RP, you can't get a faster response time, because they'll probably be RPing with someone on a scene somewhere. If you want more people online, you need to somehow attract players to apply for MD. Throughout the community's that I've been in, the medical faction has never been popular. Perhaps the only way to attract players to join them is to buff their paychecks. OT: I've had no issues with the faction apart from the lack of members, but that's not something that can just be "solved".

It's a bug which is being worked on. They're meant to auto-respawn after x minutes being unattended.

At the front desk inside LSPD. However, if your intention is to commit crimes and be a criminal, I'd refrain from getting one as you will lose it if you get caught by the police. If you intend on being a criminal, try and approach criminal organizations through IC means and get your guns through them. All up to you though, it was only a suggestion as the firearms permit costs 30k.

Just make sure that you gain no advantage over others when installing client sided mods.
