  2. You can! You'd have to do something like /me speaks in Russian. Before you use VOIP or text chat. Another indicator when you text chat is to add [Language] before the text. So i.e. [Russian] Hello. Edit, to clarify. You do the RP of you speaking in Russian in /me but you still have to speak English.
  3. Los Santos Police Department "To Protect and Serve" The Los Santos Police Department was reformed in May 2017 to what it is today, and it has since then, strived to provide the community with realistic role-play. The Los Santos Police Department adapts our structure and standard operating procedures to real-world policing in the United States, with a specific focus on the Los Angeles Police Department. The fundamentals of the faction are to have strict In-Character as well as Out-of-Character policies, regulations, and procedures, as we believe that it is the core to ensure that we can provide the community with the best realistic police role-play. This faction thread is purely Out of Character and aims to introduce you to the Los Santos Police Department, as well as inspire you by showing what type of role-play that our members get to involve themselves in. RECRUITMENT & MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION 4. INTERNAL AFFAIRS During the San Andreas Gold Rush, the State of San Andreas was guarded by its County Sheriff and multiple militias that were created to aid the already existing County Sheriff. It wasn't until 1869 when the first paid police force created, to what we today know, as the Los Santos Police Department. The force started with six paid Police Officers that served under City Marshal Jackson White, however, White was shot by one of his deputies in 1870 and was soon replaced by John F. Smith, by the newly created Board of Commissioners. Smith's succession as the City Marshal lasted only a year, as he was replaced by a saloon owner, William Harris. During the years of 1876 to 1889, the Police Force had fifteen different police chiefs. The Los Santos Police Department did not provide its officers with official training until 1916 when the first police training was introduced. This is the police training that has been the fundamentals of what we know today and it is the reason why the Los Santos Police Department is one of the largest and statistics-driven Police Department. Chief Gas Ketse was appointed Chief of Police on January 21, 2017, but soon found himself replaced by Chief Sebastian Freeman in May 2017. Chief Sebastian Freeman and his staff began the reform of the Los Santos Police Department shortly afterward, successfully managing to re-create the entire structure of the Los Santos Police Department, Bureaus and Divisions within. After a successful reform of the entire department, with the help of his staff, Chief Freeman was appointed to become one of the city's first Government Commissioners in July 2017, and his successor, Chief Ramon Carter took over reigns in the Los Santos Police Department. Chief Ramon Carter followed the path of his predecessor and continued to improve and push the Department to strive further success and improvements. Chief Carter, just like his predecessor, was appointed the second Government Commissioner on September 19th, 2017. His successor, Chief Samuel Osborn, was appointed Chief of Police the same day. Chief Osborn's reign only lasted until October 20th, when he stepped down and allowed his successor, Chief Katherine Taylor to take reigns of the Los Santos Police Department. Chief Taylor was the longest-serving Chief of Police of the Los Santos Police Department, she was appointed Chief of Police on October 27th, 2017 until she stepped down on September 28th, 2018 and assumed a new role in the Los Santos Police Department. During Chief Taylor's reign, she pushed for further success and improvements in the Departments and to further strengthen the relations between the community and the Police Force. Chief Taylor and her staff pushed for the Department's second-biggest structural revamp on July 21st, 2018, and that's when the Department expanded the previous 5 Bureaus, to 7 Bureaus divided into 3 Offices. Chief Osborn was re-appointed and sworn in as the Chief of Police on September 28th, 2018. During his reign, the department saw more changes to its structure and new appointments were made into High Command and Command Staff. On July 10th, 2019, Chief Osborn put in a retirement request to the San Andreas State Government, and his successor, Chief Mick Reefer, was inaugurated as the Chief of Police on July 21st, 2019. On November 24th, 2019, following Chief Reefer's immediate resignation, both the San Andreas State Government and the Assistant Chief of Police, Alex Donnelly, put forth a request for Chief Osborn's return. Chief Osborn had been out of retirement for three months, serving as the Sheriff of the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department. He accepted their request and transferred to the Los Santos Police Department. On the 27th of February, Chief Osborn was presented with the opportunity to join the Board of Commisioners, to which Chief Osborn accepted without hesitation and was made the third Government Commissioner. His successor, Chief Donnelly, was later inaugurated as the Chief of Police on March 10th, 2020. 4. Just standing outside the car with a hand-held radar gun.
  5. I support this for all cars. All cars should come with more costs than just the vehicle and fuel cost. There should be more vehicle maintenance required, crashed vehicles should require vehicle parts to be repaired. The most expensive the vehicle, the more expensive the maintenance. This should discourage people from using sport/supercars on a daily basis for practically everything if they have to continuously pay money for more than $150 visual repair at Bayview/LSC. A lot fewer supercars/ sports cars would allow PD to willingly nerf their vehicles if we saw more regular cars being used. But that's not the case right now, 1/5 of our vehicle pursuits is of a regular vehicle, whereas the other 4 is with a fast vehicle. One of the old SA-MP servers that I played on used to have a % life on battery and engine. When you crashed your car so hard that it went kaboom, about 25% of the engine went out and the battery would always gradually decrease its lifespan. You could replace your engine with a new engine, but that was expensive as hell. This encouraged people to drive responsibly, and we rarely had pursuits with sports cars because of said reason, most of the time it was stolen sports cars that we chased. You should post this in the suggestion forum, I think it could be nice to have in there for the developers when they look for ideas.

    Less rain

I think rain once in a while is nice, but not as frequent as it is right now. I support this!
  10. At least in Europe, from the countries I've visited, it's pretty common that it goes from red > yellow > green or from green > yellow > red. But aside from that, the traffic lights work the way Rockstar Games made them work. I'm very doubtful that we'd be able to adjust the lights if we even wanted to do so.
  11. Just a slight improvement to 911 calls to make sure that players get the fastest response. When someone calls 911, add a Location: #Neighborhood to the text so that we can see which neighborhood they've called from. That way the closest unit to that neighborhood can respond to the 911 call. Neighborhoods as in, i.e. - Vespucci, Alta Street, Vinewood, Rancho etc. So the new layout would look something like: [911] [Hour:Minute] [Caller Text] [GPS Location] i.e. [911] [22:47] [I've been shot. Help me!] [Rancho]
  12. +1 Or let us use a command like MD has to put someone in the car. That way we can put 2 people in the same car.
  13. I'm not following. Did someone steal it from an NCZ and then chop shop it? Unfortunately, we have no way of telling who did that, but if they did, it should be back in Mors Insurance & be available to you after 3 hours. The scrap yard shouldn't have your vehicle in it. That's only temporary illegal vehicles with no registration.
  14. Uh, I'm not In-Game to give you a picture of it, but it's a bit west (left from PD), there's a big square (Legion Square) and it's to the northern side of that. It should be marked on your map. It's one block to the left away from the Police Station in Mission Row. Let me know if you find it!
  15. Hey, have you checked the Legion Square parking lot @xSmokieMcPotx?
  16. Hey @Dmitrij Nagiev , this is, unfortunately, Rage MP desync. It's still in development of course, and until they manage to sync everything perfectly,, you simply will need to adapt to lag shooting. I'll show you a video from SA-MP to demonstrate what I mean by lag shooting. The concept of lag shooting also applies to the car, when you PIT a car, you'd realistically aim for the rear-right or left side of a car, but on Rage, you don't connect with the car, depending on your ping and the player's ping, you aim somewhere behind the car. It took SA-MP quite some years to fix the shooting sync to be 'perfect', we can only hope it takes a bit faster for the Rage MP Development team.

  19. "Make only light kevlar invisible and make it avaible for civilians. Readd a script with guns/items shown on body then ez pz remove name colours. " I don't know what you expect me to take these two sentences as. "Make x invisible and make it available for civilians. Re-add the script with guns/items shown on body. THEN remove name colors." What I'm simply asking is why do we have to do x and y before we remove name colors? What's the purpose you're trying to get at? Don't get me wrong, I'm simply trying to understand. My post was also a recommendation for you to make your own suggestion since you're going off this topic's suggestion by suggesting things that weren't brought up in the main post, such as making light kevlar vests invisible and adding it for everyone. The main post is suggesting: - Make /togglemask a command accessible by all faction members. - Make all factions have white names.
  20. You are free to make your own suggestion for new items to be added. How is a kevlar vest related to a blue name tag? Sorry if I understood you wrong but you make it sound like, "Hey, add kevlar vest and then you can remove name colors".
  21. +1 plus it's not only Detectives in plain clothes. You seem to be referring to an incident at Bayview the other day, and that wasn't detectives. If a criminal can carry an arsenal of weapons on them, why can't a police officer do so? Do you hold us to a higher standard? Why? PD has a development request for scripted gun-racks and armory so we don't have to carry these guns on us (although a very small % in PD has bigger guns than a shotgun). It'll probably be made once we have a script again that shows if you're carrying a big weapon on your person. But that is beside the point. Why are ya'll be worried about blue nametags or masks? The main purpose is to decrease potential METAGAMING. Why does any faction have to "compensate" to prevent metagaming?
  22. The point of the link wasn't to link you to a single image, but for you to explore why we wanted /togglemask. The original suggestion also states that PD especially wanted this for SWAT and Detectives. MD might also want /togglemask if they're RPing in an environment dangerous to their character's health. Whether that be firefighters or EMTs.
  23. The /togglemask was originally meant for PD but might as well enable it for all factions to make it fair. It's written in the suggestion itself. To save you the trouble: https://www.google.com/search?biw=2544&bih=1258&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=d5JYW4mAF8uzswH7loSQBw&q=US+Police+balaclava&oq=US+Police+balaclava&gs_l=img.3...8512.9720.0.9779.9.9.0.0.0.0.79.446.8.8.0....0...1c.1.64.img..1.2.114...0j0i30k1j0i8i30k1.0.gUkoKNxSu4k#imgrc=d31oUKEjPvKB_M:
  24. So, remove guns because it is encouraging people to commit deathmatching which will get you banned?
