  1. This was recently implemented, correct. Thanks for your suggestion!
  2. This is already in the works! The server is purposely capped at the current player slots to give factions and the staff team the ability and time to manage.
  3. I purchased my bike and truck from AutoRepairs! Very cheap! Will definitely visit again. 5/5 Customer Service 5/5 Response Time 2/5 Location
  4. Precisely. This is a good change for all factions and it doesn't make anyone more "overpowered", just simply tackles potential meta-gaming and makes everyone's play experience much better!
  5. Make house keys an item or something, maybe a temporary item that expires after x minutes. Noticed a few more house robberies as of late where they rob the owner when they come out of their house. To not stall RP or get into complications where the owner might not want to unlock the door, let the people take a key from them that expires in 10 minutes or so. Just to make it all too unfair.
  6. /title Let them use /cruiser to script-wise turn their car into a job vehicle. Also, make it so that it enables /mdc and /m in their car.
  7. /title. Make it a permission so we can allow other ranks/branches/divisions to use it Or enable it for Police Officer III+ in the PD as they deploy vehicles that don't have a siren.
  8. Updated the main suggestion.
  9. Yuge problem with the chop shop being a war zone camped by all parties. The risk is not worth the reward as it is because of how vulnerable you are by sitting in a location marked on the map, for 8 minutes. More Chop Shop Locations. Add chop shop locations in multiple locations throughout the map, whether that's in the city, in Paleto Bay, Grapeseed, at some random location in the middle of nowhere. After someone steals a car When someone steals a car, give them the option to use their phone and dial a number like /call 555-CHOPACAR to dial an NPC which will tell them to bring the car to X location. Allow the player to type a command to get the location on their map. LIke /text 555-CHOPACAR Location - This would mark the map with a yellow marker on the map, but not set their GPS. So if another player enters the car, they wouldn't get the location unless they re-do the process. Once the player is at the location, just leave it as it is. They type the command to initiate the chop shop, which takes 8 minutes. Maybe add some more automated RP lines once a player initiates a chop shop. Make it seem like NPCs come and disassemble the car so others players can tell if someone is actually chopping a car. Remove the icons Remove the chop shop icons and don't add any icons. Let players find all the locations In Character.

    Great idea! +1
  11. Nothing in this suggestion adds anything to PD that makes them "more overpowered". SWAT already has a full outfit with a helmet. There's no way that your IC character can identify which SWAT operative is who, but we still have our names flying above our heads as if the helmet & full body armor wasn't there. Detectives can already go undercover and remove their faction colour (because the faction colour is OOC anyways), the only suggestion to this is to enable /togglemask so they can put on a mask. You can already purchase the SWAT uniform from the clothing store. Feel free to make your own suggestion if you'd like to see police uniforms and nitesticks being added to the game for civilians. Impersonating a law enforcement officer can be added to the penal code to tackle the issue In Character if it ever becomes one! "It's a game" is usually where I stop reading. Light/Medium/Heavy - When it's classified as heavy, that's us trying to push as much immersion as possible. It's an RP game mode within a game, you play on here because you enjoy acting - playing a made-up character that you develop the way you want it to develop. But it's still meant to portray a realistic first world environment. It's not meant to be "fun" as a criminal to interact with the police, because the police's main mission is to fight crime and preserve order, and you probably want to create chaos. All in all, this suggestion is simply to avoid meta-gaming. If someone has a police uniform, they're probably a Police Officer, but could also be fake. Find a way In Character to identify if it's a real officer or not. If someone is a detective, you're probably not going to know that they're police unless you find that out In Character, i.e. knowing them from previously (their face), or them giving themselves away. If someone is in full body armor & a helmet, you're only going to know that they're "a person", not who unless they speak and you recognize their voice, or unless they remove their helmet, or if they give you their name. We also have a long way to go to push for max immersion. The judicial system, actual government, more things for criminals etc. Post suggestions, get the community to involve themselves in your suggestions, but don't go into suggestions and post "It's a game, -1" when the suggestion is just to increase realism.
  12. As the topic states. I would like faction members that are on duty to be able to use /togglemask. Especially for PD, detectives & SWAT operatives would benefit from this greatly because it's quite annoying that people are able to read our nametags from afar and see who we are. SWAT already wears a helmet on their outfit. Detectives need to be able to go proper undercover. Also if you could allow the Special Weapons and Tactics Branch to use /ftagcolour - at the moment, only the Detective branch can use it. It beats me why MD/PD has colored names in the first place, but yeah. People should be able to tell if someone is a medic or police officer by their uniform, not nametag color. EDIT: On popular request - Instead of changing with /ftagcolour, I would like colored names to be removed altogether. Everyone should have white names, no one should be identified by their name color. Light/Medium/Heavy - When it's classified as heavy, that's us trying to push as much immersion as possible. 13. The way /suspend has worked is that it removes the license and suspends your right from re-taking the license for x period (it's max 2 days now per incident, but it can add up).
  14. Currently, /siren is set into a standard x,y,z position for all vehicles. As you can see, it's not positioned right. I suggest that we get a /sirenadjust where we can manually move the siren's x,y,z and save it with /sirensave or something. Make it so that each officer can save the siren positioning for themselves, so it fits the car they are using. I would also like /siren to be opened for all PD members and not only Detectives, because we need it on the High-Speed Cars, Heavy Interception and some SWAT vehicles.
  15. Updated /siren on the list.
  16. Date and time (provide timezone): N/A Character name: Samuel Osborn Issue/bug you are reporting: /stabilize can’t be used by people that are on SWAT Duty (/swat). After we use /stabilize and drive them to the hospital, nothing happens. Admin interaction is still required, they need to be able to be revived. When using the MDC GUI, if you press a button that normally opens something else (i.e. inventory) it opens it up while in the MDC (even the weapon wheel!) While /kevlar now works for Detectives, if you're an admin, if you go on admin duty after going on Detective duty (CTRL+U) your outfit will completely change once you go off-admin duty. Accessories show up over uniform, i.e. ties, scarves etc. MDC Player Search for offline players doesn't show their previous or outstanding charges anymore. This makes record searches for PD recruitment/IB or for other faction's HR impossible unless the players are online. MDC Manual License Plate search crashes your game immediately, no error. Megaphones can’t be used outside near a police car anymore. Gives you the error, “There’s no cruiser nearby”. Police Boat is stuck at 70 KM/H We do not get salary progression in the prison, nearby or on Police Boats. We have no MDC in: Zentorno, Pfister811, Bati-801, Insurgent, Riot Van, Brickade, Police Boat We can’t create S-1 > S-9 through the MDC, says name it too short. S-10 works, so it's only below. Renaming your unit WITHIN the MDC just freezes the player and does nothing. /siren doesn’t add an object for Detectives anymore, though it says that it adds it. /siren does work again but the siren is placed horribly wrong. Perhaps a solution to this is to allow us to adjust the x,y,z with a command and save the x,y,z so that when we /siren again, it goes to the x,y,z we've saved. /suspend doesn't return all the values in the subtitle text down below, only a few. Some units don't get deleted when someone logs out or crashes. Units should timeout when it has 0 members. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Some pictures & gifs above, but in the end, you just have to go into PD and test these features out.
  17. Why do you think we have separate server rules than you do? Internal rules set by faction leaders are faction rules, there's no reason why you as a non-faction member need to know these rules. Factions follow the server rules just like anyone else is meant to, and those are public. If you feel that there are rules missing from the server rules, or if something is there that shouldn't be, that calls for a separate suggestion where you can suggest changes to the server rules. This is a problem. This is a role-play server. You are not meant to just cause havoc, cause havoc, cause havoc, cause havoc. There's meant to be IC consequences to your actions, that's what makes a role-play server REALISTIC, this is not a COPS AND ROBBERS server. Character Development is a thing, everything you do should develop your character further. Now about the prison not having anything to do, that's a problem for developers, they're well aware of issues in the prison and how they can make it better. When you get caught by the police In Real Life, they don't just immediately drive you to the jail and jail you. There's a whole lot of steps in between, which is what we portray. Stop trying to rush role-play, you are meant to enjoy role-play. We don't force anyone into role-playing, players initiate criminal role-play themselves. There's also meant to be things to do in the prison, but again, that's a development issue. Bottom line is that there is a lot of missing things from the prison, there is meant to be things to do in the prison, to further RP in there. But regardless if the prison gets fixed, the preliminary role-play prior to going to prison is just like any role-play and won't affect the outcome of your prison sentence. Players even want a court system and that will add even more preliminary role-play before you get sentenced and serve your time. Here is a suggestion with a bunch of ideas for the prison, you can add more onto it and I'll add it to the top post.
  18. Looks really good! @BallinByNature Gov Forums could use a header update I also second BrainDead's suggestion, start up an IC business and you could make Eclipse RP $$ by creating graphics for people. People used to do it all the time on my old SA-MP server.
  19. I tested this with Beet and filled in numbers as I went through each gun though.. OT: It also seems that you do lower damage under the torso, cba to fill it in today but will probably do it tomorrow.
  20. Well, /title. The damage output by melee is too damn high, you can one shot with a nitestick (or well, not really, but nearly, think it's 70-80 damage) whereas a shotgun requires you to unload several slugs into someone for them to drop. For cops who have kevlar vests, it'd be cool if you could register where the vest is so that if people shoot us anywhere else but our vest, it'd take away health, whereas if they shoot us in the torso/back, it'd take away armor. This would just make kevlar vests more realistic. We also need a buff in weapon damage, it should be easier to kill someone with a gun than it currently is. I shouldn't have to shoot someone in the head 10 times with a pistol to kill them, or Carbine Rifle 9 times. Current Damage (All but melee attacks removes armor or health of equal value): Pistol Body: 9 Pistol Head: 9 Combat Pistol Body: 9 Combat Pistol Head: 9 Pistol .50 Body: 17 Pistol .50 Head: 17 SNS Pistol Head: 10 SNS Pistol Body: 9 Heavy Pistol Head: 14 Heavy Pistol Armor: 11 Carbine Rifle Head: 11 Carbine Rifle Body: 10 SMG Head: 7 SMG Body: 7 Shotgun Head: 39 Shotgun Body: 38 .50 Cal Sniper Head: 72 .50 Cal Sniper Body: 72 Nightstick: 75 HEALTH, IGNORES ARMOR FISTS: 20 HEALTH, IGNORES ARMOR FLASHLIGHT BASH: 75 HEALTH, IGNORES ARMOR When we were back on GTA:N (I believe it was, or GT-MP), you could kill someone with 2 shots in the head with a pistol .50. On GTA:N, this was the weapon damage:
  21. Transferring assets from one character to another is not against the rules, but not supported by staff. If you know that you're going to CK your character, have a friend help you transfer the assets. It could, however, be against a faction rule, like the LSPD doesn't allow it.
  22. Hey! Just tested this today, works! Thank you.
  23. Pretty simple. Can we please get a character kill system where admins have the ability to use the command /ck. No one can be forced to CK, they can only CK on their own will. If the admin approves of the CK, they can use the command which will then disable the player's character, making it inaccessible, and then giving them a free character slot so that they can make a new character. That's what a CK is. Your character dies, and you start a new life.
