Hey Liam. Game crashes are very common for everyone throughout the GT-MP Community, especially in Eclipse due to the heavy CEF-based script. As unfortunate as it is, there's no fix for it. Some days are better than others, but it's common to crash once every 15-20 minutes or sometimes less. It's unfortunate that it happens during your driver's test, but you just have to keep trying!

don't step into a role-play server if you don't know the fundamentals of it. You have to educate yourself by looking up guides on this website or by searching on Google. It's a very simple quiz, all you need to understand is some role-play terminologies such as powergaming, metagaming, fear rp, fail rp etc. If the quiz was removed or made easier, then we'd have this same topic but with a different subject, "Stop punishing us who are new.". If you've never heard or done any role-play before, it's not wise to step into a role-play server. You will end up breaking rules and you will end up being punished, hence why the quiz is in place to make sure that players who join are familiar with the basics. Hey Tobias. It's a very simple feature to use, simply type /cruise 70-130 (min is 70 and max are 130) and then hit L on your keyboard to enable/disable it. Once it's enabled, you can hold down W and the speed won't exceed the limit that you put. Glad I could help.

If you need help with anything, in particular, shoot me a PM on the forums and I'm willing to guide you through it. I'll give you a personal guide for whatever you need help with. I've personally been roleplaying since 2008.

I read somewhere that they upped the cooldown to 12 hours to ensure that the quiz taker has read up on guides etcetera to ensure that they're not just guessing their way through. SA-RP (pre 2010), US-RP/new SARP (2010), NGRP (2010), LSRP, RCRP

I think the founders needs to define what their vision for the server is. Are we Cops and Robbers, are we going to be an RPG server or an RP server? There are too many issues on the server right now, and the criminal update is on the horizon, how do you plan on releasing the criminal update at the server's current state? Players can't handle the guns they get from the ammunition, and we're going to give them bigger guns? o_O (Just look at the events that took place when they were able to get the bugged guns from the LSPD vehicles, and now we plan on actually giving them real shotguns & rifles?) I've put in a shit ton of work in the LSPD, among many other players. We try to maintain a high RP level in the Police Department, but aside from LSPD and some other factions, the majority of the server is a gigantic cock fest. Please make an announcement and define what you intend in terms of RP level or game mode. This is frustrating, I'm going to keep doing what I am in the LSPD but I don't know how long-lasting I'll be personally. Don't get me wrong, there are some EXTREMELY GOOD role-players out there, the mechanic faction, Weasel News etc. But that's not the majority. I've also met new players, civilians, that are extremely good, but they're not long lasting - I see them once or twice, then they're never seen again. Just look at the "protests" that happens, the most recent one that was done at the LSPD was because the trucking job was BUGGED. Like, what the fuck? And other times, it's because the "government" doesn't pay them enough - But the government doesn't fucking pay them? We don't even have a government! That was just one example; they're incapable of handling what we have on the server right now. These trucks are heavy vehicles, they're seen as a DEADLY WEAPON, and people would WHINE if we open fire at them when they drive towards us at excessive speeds in these trucks, that's what police would do in real life! But do we do it? No. I've built up SWAT (along with Richard Vane) in the LSPD, and I wanted to enforce some good role-play standards in SWAT, but then I witnessed my very first bank robbery and then my second bank robbery, people just walk in, don't give a crap about the active situation and how they could lose their life. Do I really want to keep these high standards in my division? I can only see how it'll get worse with the criminal update, bigger guns will be accessible. I've been AGAINST police officers patrolling with big firearms, as of right now, anyone in SWAT is being given a full arsenal of weapons but I've been pushing to get that removed from them, and for the weapons only to be added when they go on SWAT duty, but is that something I want to keep pushing for? I don't know.

Read up on some guides, don't just wait and complain that the timeout timer is too long. You're not meant to just fail, try other options, fail and repeat until you pass. You're meant to know what RP means and the terms that comes with it before you actually start playing on a RP server.

Cops and Robbers at the moment, hopefully role-play soon. (Look at the server offenses, there's barely any RP rules). We need Fear RP to be defined in the server rules, it's ridiculously stupid that so many people In-Game fails to demonstrate any form of character fear in situations, whether it's the fear of going to jail or the fear of actually dying. We need Powergaming to be defined in the server rules, people force RP upon others left and right and also perform ridiculously stupid stunts that are deemed as unrealistic. We need some type of Non RP Behavior added to the server rules as well which would also define cop baiting etc.

Eclipse has a good name to it right now, don't let the name be slandered by the people who join the community and end up having to utilize GOOGLE TRANSLATE to communicate with the English speaking population, despite the server having [ENGLISH] in the name. Either add a very basic application on the CPanel (just to make sure that they speak English and that they know the basics of RP) or add a English quiz In-Game that requires manual approval by Support Staff or Admins In-Game. For the latter, you'll probably end up having to hire more Support Staff. I remember a SA-MP server that I tested many.. many years ago, made you take an actual quiz upon your first time logging and then it'd spawn you inside a locked room In-Game. When your quiz was approved by In-Game staff, it would teleport you to the airport so that you could begin your role-play life. Just add anything... The quiz that we have right now might as well be removed because it serves zero purpose. I'm sure by now, the Brazilian community already have screenshots pinned on their Discord with the correct answers. I am not saying that we should restrict this to fluent speaking English folks, because I don't speak English fluently myself, it's my third language. All I'm saying is that we need people that can comprehend English and use it without needing the assistance of Google Translate. The developers of Eclipse seems to be extremely talented, but your talent is going to end up being a waste in a few weeks or perhaps a month or two. More servers will arise, servers with stricter standards. You want quality players, not just the quantity. You will lose the quality if it keeps going the way that it's going. And aside from that, we need more RP rules, especially Fear RP. There's nothing in the current rule book that tells a player that they have to RP any fear at all, they can pull out a phone and call 911 when they have 50 guns pointed at them.

I think it'd save developers some time if you simply RP the recording from your phone, and occasionally let people around you know in i.e. /do that you'd be holding a phone pointed towards them. Though, it's up to them in the end how far they wish to go with the developing. If you intend on using said footage to report a crime, it should be mandatory that you provide evidence that proves that you actually did role-play taking the footage. /me reaches into his pocket as he withdraws his brand new Samsung Galaxy S8. /me turns his phone's camera system on as he switches it to recording mode, he then initiates the recording. /me holds the camera pointed towards John Doe. /me stops his phone's camera recording as he pockets it. And sometimes. /do You'd see me holding a phone pointed towards John Doe. (If i.e. new players come into the RP scenario, those who didn't have a chance to see the previous RP). Though, I am supportive of the idea! I just think it can be done without developing a script for it, but if the developers feel that it's not time consuming or too difficult, go for it. It just makes it neater.

First, I'm not sure if this is the right section, although it is an issue. [spoiler=Video][media] [/media] So, I spent my entire bank today on a house up in Richman, only to be hit in the face when I first entered it. The interior was stupid, compared to the exterior. Obviously, the interior isn't what I paid for. I'm not sure if you have more of these houses around, but it'd be unfortunate if someone else was effected by it. Perhaps you can take a look around the houses and double check their interiors? Either way, is there any chance to get my interior changed? Thanks in advance, Osborn
