  1. New Recruit Jordan has recently found the group, quickly becoming friends with most members. He's found a family, a place where he feels like he belongs. He has already decided to give his life for them. He's been wanting to do more within the group, figure out his own place within it. He wants to offer his personal experiences, or even his own opinions towards things. He wants to be able to help out the group as much as possible in any given way that he is given the opportunity for.
  2. I will avoid the second part of that as I have been a member of staff as well as members of big groups, factions, whatever you may want to call them. But as for the first part I have seen staff members be more one sided, but at the same time it does depend on the situation, and the staff member. I honestly would love to see a sort of restriction system added in place similar to PD, or SD, or any of the other legal factions, except obviously implemented to be more towards criminals,.
  3. I couldn't agree with this more. Also Jay I literally watched a situation happen to where your gang, including you didn't win, you all immediately took to /b claiming forums and reports, as for major events, I don't need to be active in the server to still hear and understand events. It's highly incredulous to believe that you can control an entire gang, let alone be able to understand every roleplay event that happens, I have seen on multiple occasions members of Los Zetas pulling guns and calling radios over the slightest of incidents, such as being called a bitch as that was a event that happened directly to me, where one of your members called for backup for a single person after being called a bitch. As for "standards in place" I mean more strict standards as there is not a lot of roleplay that gangs can do successfully, don't get me wrong, a lot of members of gangs do have good roleplay, which I will gladly state on multiple occasions, but a lot of lower leveled people do not, nowhere even close, that is what I am meaning by a better standard. Not just enforcing stricter roleplay, but not allowing lower level members to get away with stuff like that to where it's going to turn into a forum fight as the majority of gang situations do. I will gladly go through the report section and link a multitude of gang situations where this has taken place.
  4. I would love to input my opinion into this as well, I have long, long, long been around Eclipse, I have came and went, seen everything, from the start of the Zetas, to the start of just about everything else. I have to agree with some of these points, but at the end of the day, as you said it is a video game, people play games to win. While that is not a good mentality to have towards roleplay, it is a mentality that a lot of people have, myself at times included. With that being said, I agree completely with criminal rp, it is absolutely atrocious to watch the majority of the time. Granted a lot of these "gangs" do have incredibly solid roleplayers, most of whom I am friends with, but at the same time, I feel like for criminal factions, their should be the same standards put into place as their are for the legal ones. Make them prove they can roleplay, I've seen time and time again countless reports after reports of every single gang, as soon as they do not win a situation it instantly into the report section, this doesn't promote good roleplay, it doesn't promote a healthier stance towards roleplay. If I call a member of a gang a bitch for instance, theirs a really good chance I'm going to have 50 other members roll up immediately in that situation and I'm going to have countless guns to my head. This time of mentality needs to be taken out, honestly it does. PD, and SD are included in this as well, if people are playing to win, then what is the point of playing? I really really do hope that something does change towards this mentality, be it from the gang leaders, or even from Admins implementing new guidelines, but something does have to change to promote better roleplay potential, and just a healthier server.

Ight that's a bit too far bud, this is going to be locked now.

  8. Medics can only get paid so much, I used to be a medic and I was easily getting paid more then most other factions, its not about money, it's just not the funnest faction, because you respond to calls with people who can't be asked to RP injuries or anything like that, it becomes repetitive especially when half the calls end up being broken legs.
  9. Colby having a big brain idea I don't believe it +1
  10. as a former staff member who worked on applications I can say the conversion rate is easily less than 1/100, it's ridiculous and the main thing is people don't play this server for rp, this isn't a heavy rp server nor will it ever be lol, they fire people from PD or MD for things that should be handled icly, they loss gang members on a daily because it's just robbing the same people over and over again or controlling a drug lab, there's nothing to keep people coming back except for friends that play, that's it. That's why I stayed as long as I did, not only that but it's the reason a lot of others stay as well, i've talked to multiple people about this and they all said the same thing. It's insane if everyone knew everything that happened in factions that aren't open, such as PD or even criminals orgs as well, the amount of down time in a criminal org with nothing to do is insane, and it's not like the server has devs, it's just they don't add anything that improves the server side rp unless it's for cops, criminals need things to do beyond all belief and instead it's PD getting a new car or new features or whatever it may be until people complain of them being OP at which time it would immediately get removed once enough people complained, look at the revolver something a lot of sheriffs irl will have and use it got taken away for being too op for being a one shot, well sorry but it's a fucking smith and wesson .45 like im sorry are you expecting not to fucking die from that? The amount of bs that happens is incredibly outrageous, and the best part is no matter how well the argument against things are it won't change.
  11. So I fully believe that the way PD is right now they have a full edge over criminals, that's the way it should be, but for criminals to be able to have fun and good rp as well why don't we allow them to get access to encrypted radio channels as well, at least for the orgs that are going to be official, that way they don't have to worry about leaks or anything as well, because if criminals have to worry about leaks then so should PD, radios shouldn't be another edge above criminals, radio should be a level playing field. This is just meant to be something that can add a new level of RP to the server, say for instance why can't we hack into an encrypted radio frequency something just like being able to use a bobby pin on a radio or something like that, would make it eligible if successful to get into 911 or 918, although I don't know why someone would get into 918, as well as that with the upcoming criminal orgs getting added into official orgs, why should we not although them a tac channel as well, I just think it's kind of dumb that PD get it where they can organize so well, but criminals can't, with faction handlers as well as quite few staff being involved in orgs it could be a pretty easily managed thing, could even lead to better rp in general. Just my opinion on things
  12. I mean if you want to say that i'm meta gaming feel free to, but the truth is i'm not I do know you icly because you and I have hung out multiple of times at LSC, not only that I was just the one who had placed the charges on you because one I knew it was you driving, two in the MDC you are the R/O not only that but are you forgetting the part where we talked and I even said hey Justin how's it going, or did that just slip your mind, again though feel free to report me, i'll take it as anyone else would as well. Have a pleasant day
  13. These reports are IC, but can also be OOC they have a OOC information portion in them as well, and Mr Spice I was the one who placed the charges on you, and as I know you icly i've seen you multiple times and I know the vehicles you drive/own, not only that but I saw you driving around the 900r that I pulled over that same day without a mask, if their is any other issue then be sure to make an IA report, my badge number is 3312 as in the picture above.
  14. Alright so as a cop let me go ahead and reply to this, we do not meta game, and if we can confirm your identity in any way we can place charges onto you, but if you are wearing a mask completely different clothes all of that, and we have absolutely no way to prove your identity then charges placed against you shouldn't be there, if you have proof of this you can file an IA report, and it will be handled by Internal Affairs.
  15. I'd love to be able to do ride alongs but i'm just a lowly po1, would be great if we could be granted temporary permission to do it wink wink nudge nudge @BroskiBen
  16. -1 absolutely not, would make criminals a lot more ridiculous as to what they would do without a moments hesitation.
  17. +1 is a great idea if implemented correctly
  18. thing is it would eventually have to become a NCZ because of the people that would go there, leave with a lot of money and instantly have people outside waiting and just rob you instantly, plus with the lack of atms up there it would be a long drive causing players stress
  19. As a cop character and a medic, I have to say i've been asked to RP death non stop, it is our choice whether or not we allow that, in most cases it is going to be a no simply because criminals ask it non stop if they have one shot even remotely close to the head or anything like that, if we granted death rp to every criminal who asked we would never send anyone to prison, simply put criminals want to abuse the fact that they can die and not have to deal with anything, in the long run death rp ruins rp for others, think about this, you have a person we send to prison and they do the sentence and later on they're going to think more about what they do, from robbing a store to kidnapping someone, they're going to give that more thought making the rp better for pd/md and criminals, because the more you guys can rp the better time we have as well, it's a two way street, we're less likely to grant a death rp to someone especially if we see them just constantly murdering cops, rp is rp it's meant to be fun and a lot of the time we have fun, but a lot of the time it's a massive annoyance showing up and people just thinking they can death rp and then arguing in /b about it until they eventually leave and once we have to transport them from md they're beyond non compliant and insanely over doing it, whether its running while in cuffs and being able to get into random vehicles without rp, or them just trying to annoy us to the fullest of their ability. At the end of the day as someone who's been a criminal but also in pd and md, I can see prison is causing for better rp, anytime I was arrested I would think more about what I was doing instead of just doing it.
  20. +1 need to see some new places for me and freyja's real estate company lol
