My first day back in a few years, and i'm already being arrested for wreckless driving with my true love. The Phoenix

So it's been awhile guys, the last time i've played was in 2018, and I can tell you that I had some great memories, and met some amazing people on the server. I had some great roleplay with some folks, and joined a few gangs, and did just about every thing. It seems that a lot has changed, and I need to catch up. I've been reading up the new rules, and i'm ready to start again. It seems that every thing is so different now than it was back in 2018. I'm glad to be back, and I hope i'll get to meet new friends, and have new roleplays. What made my time on Eclipse the best was the people I met.

So I'm working, and living honestly. I receive my 1,000 from the government, and apparently it never even goes into my salary account. Also while I'm driving around dropping off boxes. Every time I earn money the cash never goes into my salary either. As far as I know the issue seems to fix itself when I reconnect back into the server. But Its annoying, and breaks rp when I have to consistently disconnect, and rejoin just so I can get my money.

IC should stay IC, and when some one is harassing some one oocly and thinks that they have the right to continue to foul them oocly when they are refused, and proceed to do it. They should be punished for what they did, and banned.

The whole reason why I created this post wasn't only because that I wanted to protect my friend, but also to show to every one that I believe broader rules should be in place to punish people who seek to exploit some one oocly. ICly if your rping some one that's sexually harassing your character, call the cops. Its IC and it stays IC through RP. But when its taken OOCly and that person who you rp with joins your discord, and starts rudely messaging you oocly on discord, and sending you foul pictures without your concent, and you have evidence of this. That's the point i'm trying to make. To shed light on this, and hope that the Admins can make it apart of the harassment rules, and punish those who exploit women oocly on Eclipse. Though ultimately its up to the victim to decide where to draw the line, and block that person. But still it should be punishable that it was done to them through Eclipse on discord.

Community Security should extend beyond just on the server, as people have discord communites formed to keep each other informed as to keep in touch. This in and of itself could allow predators to exploit some one who they know in game who is a woman, through Discord and harass them through discord, and sexually exploit them. As the current rules are made there is no punishment against this, and there should be if people can get banned for making ooc threats, and harass oocly. It should be bannable to sexually harass oocly. Though it wasn't on the server or through roleplay. A member of Eclipse who we invited into our discord, sexually harassed another member of Eclipse through Discord, and sent nudes without consent. With evidence proven and shown. This should be bannable to prevent predators from continueing to do this, and to keep sexual predators off the server. Cause they'll just keep coming, and playing as different characters.

Just because it didn't happen in game, A member of our Club which in and of itself is linked to the Eclipse Server committed the action. Even if it didn't happen in game its still linked to Eclipse as the predator is still on the server.

Though ultimately its up to the person being exploited to decide to ignore the predator, but some people are too young, and don't know better. The internet is really dangerous, and I hope Eclipse can implement rules to make the server safer.

Something that makes the RP more immersive on this server is VOIP. Which in and of itself used in communications can allow predators or people seeking to exploit women the opportunity to do so because they know the person is a woman. They will purposely go out of their way to figure out some way to find loop holes and communicate with them outside the game either through mostly Discord or some other platform similar. I hope a rule could be implemented to prevent this from happening in OOC terms. Predators on the internet will do what ever they can to get what they want, and its possible that if they succeed the law could get involved, and get the server in trouble if it was linked. Like if the predator finds out where the person lives, and something happens. VOIP is a dead give away for predators to discern women, and exploit them. This isn't a strictly text based RP server, and RP is mostly done through text, and VOIP on Eclipse. This opens the door for predators to take advantage.

Just this recent week the Three Bolters has disbanded because a member of the gang shared nudes without consent over Discord to another member. Yet the person who did this was not punished. Yet its possible to get banned from the server for insulting some one OOCly. I believe, and hope that the Eclipse Staff can some how create a new rule to add with the Harassment Rule. Sexual Harassment either through OOC means, or through Discord groups linked to Eclipse in some form. With evidence showing it happen, should be dealt with by giving the person committing the sexual harassment a permanent Ban. I hope that this rule can some how be implemented to prevent online sexual predators who will use this server to exploit women. Though its every ones responsibility to control who you interact with. Please be careful who you decide to associate with through discord or some means outside the game, as the internet is full of fucked up sexual predators that will do what ever they can to exploit women. Though its a parents responsibility to control what their child sees. I know there are people who could be underaged who rp on this server, and who will rp on this server as it grows. It'd be good to have a rule to prevent predators using Eclipse to exploit underaged people. Thankyou for reading this.
