I have been maining crim RP since February consistently and used to main crim back in the “glory” day of Zetas, Triads, Aztecas etc and I feel this is an extremely positive change for the following reasons: 1 - Official status used to take at least 6 months and usually closer to a year to obtain. Imports were also not guaranteed at this point and additional months may be needed to get these. This new system offers “stepping stones” through natural progression and reaching T5 will still be HALF the required time minimum on the legacy system of official status. 2 - What’s stopping you from still developing relationships with “established” factions (such as Rooks/OTF/Lost) who will naturally be in a position to import the more special things (as they do now) while you build your own faction up through the tiers gradually strengthening your own cartel connections. This will also lead to factions being respected ICly more through their own dedication and hard work by maintaining consistency in their faction. 3 - Im gonna go out of a limb here and say the punishments for demotion will be cases where your faction has maliciously acted in a way that poorly represents your faction. If little Jimmy the new player got a warning for Fear RP and educated how to do better moving forward and they were receptive for that - I highly doubt that will be held against the faction. FM are in place and are motivated to build factions up, not beat them down by ticking boxes blindly. This change will do a lot of good for the health of crim RP as it will stop you blindly hopping in the stash to pull out the same loadout you’ve been using for years while also allowing relationships to develop between factions to add a natural self-governing environment. High tier factions will be more respected ICly and your own factions will be motivated to push to the next tier each month.

Customisable UI that you can move for personal preference. Ability to use VOIP at all times unless a text box is active. Add more usable items to house robberies rather than just having most stuff to be sold. Speed up the action timer for drinking. Review all newly added vehicles (since 2022 I believe) to see if their trunk size should increase and ability to carry bodies added. Ability to lock/unlock a vehicle while carrying a body. Fix the draw animation bug that results in you sometimes having a longer looping animation of drawing your weapon after exiting a vehicle. Customisable chat filters to modify your own chat tabs. Twitter style phone app. Add lifeinvader functionality to the laptop item. Disable /panim in prison. Ability to purchase garage space ICly to prevent house hoarding. Add management to all scripted businesses. Prevent AP loss on ragdoll. Add more high end dealership slots, or make it a virtual showroom with unlimited space to both prevent lag and allow more people to sell. Move the fishing sellpoint closer to the pier/beach. Make the trucker job’s general store stock collectible from the city, not Paleto. (It’s a pain getting an order for $1500 for a city store ordering some radios to have to truck all the way to Paleto and back spending almost all of your profits on fuel). Increased rewards for truckers using personal vehicles.

Ability to crawl while scriptly injured.

Make all shops where you buy items have a basket and quantity- so you can buy 50 Bobby pins, a bag and 5 waters (for example) without spam clicking and not knowing how much you are spending. (Shoutout @Shurples as she has a suggestion active with example UI)

Hey there, As the co-leader of the LSPD faction, I can assure you that this behaviour is not permitted and is enforced against. Do you have any specific examples of this behaviour? If so, I strongly urge you to create an IC or OOC Internal Affairs complaint to highlight this. With all due respect, nothing can change without specific instances being reported to the appropriate area and investigated - broad forum topics sparking a PD vs Crim argument isn't healthy at all and leads to inevitable back-and-forth about speculatory behaviour. We (PD leadership) will always respect any IA report, be that IC or OOC, and it will be investigated. So then when the cap is 35 to allow these new prospects in, a new thread will come soon after saying "what is the difference of allowing 3-5 prospects?" then the cap is 40 - a line needs to be drawn at some point and I think 30 is a good point as to allows big gangs to still exist while not drastically ruining the experience of smaller groups.

-1. My group are also at the 30 limit (even though not official) and I think this is a good spot. Allowing higher caps will just steam-roll over smaller groups and bring back the council mentality of 2019/20 which killed criminal RP outside of the council. If criminal RP focussed more on roleplay over rolling labs to clap, there could be an argument for an increase but in the current environment I do not think it would be healthy to the community.

I think house robberies are fantastic, and they are currently very refined in terms of reward and time but since dipping my toes back into criminal roleplay, I feel a couple of minor refinements could be made to make them a little more viable and appealing. 1 - Only present the “House Robbery” UI to the player who has purchased the “intel” from the dealer until they either break in, or fail to break in which would then open the UI up to all players. 2 - Add an additional NPC to provide contracts at a different location so that there is extra choice to mitigate the risk of compromised contracts. I think the suggestions speak for themselves, but having been on both sides (compromiser and victim) I think these balances should be added for gameplay fairness. Realistically, no one other than the player who purchased the contract would know the location unless they tell someone else themselves. Spotting the UI “House Robbery” and acting on it feels awkward and essentially scripted metagaming. Obviously, once the door is either open or failed to be opened, there would likely be evidence (such as damage, open door etc) which would then make sense to show the UI. As for the additional locations, I feel this would be valuable just to allow a variety of locations to obtain information for a robbery. House robberies are primarily a mid-crim activity and recently, big(er) groups (mine included) have been catching people at this singular dealer and compromising their intel which feels a bit awkward. Of course we could opt to say “we won’t do this” but that also feels awkward if RP naturally results in such a situation - so additional locations would fix that issue.
