Yesterday, I waited at the LSPD Impound for about 2 hours total- there were at least 6 instances where police showed up so that THEY could selfishly (in an IC context) impound other people's cars, but when asked to RELEASE a car, they either yell at you, telling you that you can wait (ICly, of course), or straight up ignore you and walk/run away (which is EXTREMELY poor RP, especially from PD) Not all of them are like this, of course, there was a cop that had a heart and decided instead of running off to help me and another player. Why is it that impounds are the only place to require PD to drive there? Makes NO sense. You don't have to RP with a player when getting your vehicle out of mors, or when buying a vehicle at a dealership- you RP with the script. This only takes time from players when they don't need it taken from them.

We NEED to make the impound scripted, relying on PD and SD to always answer the impound takes too much time and deprives players of roleplay. Agree? +1. Disagree? -1.

SADOC should be the ones making good RP for inmates

This is also very true at the same time- but we should change the environment to better encourage good role-play inside of prison. We could create prison jobs (more than just mining tin) like trash-cleaning, cleaning the toilets, etc. for stamps while also having guards actually in the cell block trying to roleplay with us, if someone isn't doing anything, they should be getting them to do something imo. -

We already got rules about staying IC all the time, maybe if they just started getting enforced more in there we could create RP. Right now it's a place you go to do nothing but be in-game, as if it's an OOC punishment, eventually we should get to a point where there is continuous RP in there. -

I agree. Prison guards should be doing activities like assigned showers, making prisoners work, etc. They should be interacting with their inmates, getting to know them, etc. -

I don't want to have criminals income removed, but that doesn't make me any more opposed to the idea of removing the NPC. This is an RP server, we should be making RP and just because money is easier to get from an NPC than it is selling it to another player in RP, that doesn't make it good in an RP server. Find people that will roleplay buying drugs, I promise there are, and there is your income.
