  1. If you've got evidence to back up the claims you're making about administrative staff misusing their power, I recommend you to make a player report so that it can be handled in a proper manner. However, I feel like you might've simply gotten unlucky and were caught - there's several ways for Police Officers to find someone's location in the game without the use of administrative powers. Restricting staff members from assuming an in-character position is not something that should be done.
  2. Bug confirmed - using the /takelicense command with the ID of the weapons license (0) will take the person's drivers license instead. For the time being, you can use the command "/takelicense John_Doe weapon" to revoke a weapons license.
  3. +1, simple yet good quality of life change. It's pretty eh going through the entire process of releasing a vehicle only to find out that the person you've gone through the process with doesn't actually have the money to have the vehicle released from impound. It'd also help answer the "how much is this going to cost me" questions we often get and cannot answer prior to having the money deducted from their account (or not).
  4. Date and time (provide timezone): 04/FEB/2020, 15:33 UTC Character name: Elena Blake Issue/bug you are reporting: The notification that shows up when issuing a firearms license displays "{receiverInfo.Name}" rather than the actual name of the character the permit is being issued to. Expected behavior: The notification should display the name, or something other than what it shows now. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Join the LSPD faction, set yourself to a faction group that has the permission to issue a firearms license and use the /approveflicense command to issue a license to an individual. Vehicle license plate number*: N/A
  5. Date and time (provide timezone): 03/FEB/2020, 11:22 AM UTC Character name: Elena Blake Issue/bug you are reporting: CB Radio for truckers & tow trucks still displays stranger tags instead of "Player ID". Might've not been ported over after the change? Not a major bug, noticed it whilst towing some vehicles and figured I might as well report it just in case. Expected behavior: Player "names" should probably be displayed as "Player ID" just like everything else after stranger tags were removed. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Simply get into a (tow) truck and have someone speak over /cb. Vehicle license plate number*: N/A
  6. This used to be an option way back on the previous client. If you use the CTRL + X menu on a vehicle, you'll still see "Tow (Flatbed)". It used to be the alternative to the desynced tow trucks on GT:MP. It helped greatly with the towing of alternative vehicles such as motorcycles and even boats without requiring admin assistance (boats) or picklocking (motorcycles). +1

    Police

    yes!
  8. Nonetheless, yet another role for people assisting others is not needed.
  9. It already exists, it's called support staff, you could probably apply to that once it's opened up should you want a role for helping out others, for whatever reason.
  10. All for it, it'll be easier to read the height altitude of the helicopter for pilots and it'll help them stick to their supposed altitude, rather than having to look in first person. Drivers don't have to go into first person to check their speedometer either, so it makes sense.

    Nightclub NCZ's

-1, nightclubs shouldn't be a no crime zone, it'll limit the roleplay opportunities a nightclub has to offer that aren't always legal. It's unfortunate a club got shot up, but no, it shouldn't be a no crime zone. Take in-character precautions.
  12. This has literally nothing to do with the suggestion you're responding to, it's about the animation of drawing an already equipped firearm that's on the holster, as Police Officers in uniform have their firearm placed on their hip where the holster would be, but the animation still reaches behind their back. Nothing about an action timer was mentioned, or accessing/utilizing /pw for that matter. I'd be for it if the animation is hard-coded to only work for Police Officers who are in uniform. I believe this is possible - the same is done for the radio animation. Detectives who are out of uniform reach for their ear just like everyone else whereas uniformed officers do not. I'm all for animations as I feel they add immersion, however, I fear that it'll be the cause for subconscious metagaming if it's not different for undercover cops.
  13. I agree with the general idea, so +1 on that. To build on what you've already proposed and what I believe could add to the server is the following; weapon items can be equipped through your inventory, and will remain in your inventory but could turn red or get another label stating "Equipped". What this will allow is for it to make more sense in regards to the volume - it doesn't make sense for the weight to disappear whilst the weapon is on the same place on your character, equipped or not. Furthermore, it'll also allow you to unequip and stash your weapon in a vehicle (we all know that recently there's been controversy regarding not being allowed to roleplay your gun being elsewhere whilst it's on your person) at any time, regardless of whether you've got it equipped or not. Just some food for thought, not trying to take away from the general suggestion.
  14. Date and time (provide timezone): 30/DEC/2019, 15:21 UTC Character name: Elena Blake Issue/bug you are reporting: Changing the visual look of the license plates on vehicle through the vehicle customization menu changes the rims of the vehicle instead. Expected behavior: Changes the way the license plate on your vehicle looks. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Go to any mechanic workshop and try to change the license plate on your vehicle. I've only tried this out with the 8F Drafter and the Neon, so I can't guarantee that it happens with every vehicle, or if it's only the new vehicles. Apologies if it happens to an issue that has already been reported, but I've tried multiple arguments in the search function and found nothing similar. Video of it occurring: https://streamable.com/3xpby Vehicle license plate number*: N/A
  15. From what I've gathered they were hidden to prevent player account names (not staff members, just regular players) from being made public. But I believe that it'd be good if they were public, just for the sake of being able to look into punishment appeals in the past to see how certain rules/decisions are viewed. A possibility is to separate the old punishment appeals (with player account names) from the new ones (which no longer include these account names), and make the archive with the appeals without account names public again. It's unfortunate that it wouldn't include every single appeal that has ever been handled, but it'd be a decent compromise, as staff wouldn't have to remove the account name from every single old appeal, and the players would get insight into new handled appeals again.
  16. These "plenty of law enforcement uniforms" are exactly what you said they are, peds. We don't use GTA 5 pedestrian models, this wouldn't work, we use MP_FREEMODE models with this clothing available to them. The only clothing items I can find that are similar to police uniforms is blouses with an undershirt without a badge or any indication of being police, or what looks to be really bulky SWAT gear. What you would achieve with these peds is, as a pale officer or maybe even a female officer is turning into an officer like this.
  17. Date and time (provide timezone): 26/DEC/2019, 21:30 UTC Character name: Elena Blake Issue/bug you are reporting: The Stafford that was rotated into the credit store this week and it's "missing" it's preview image (it seems to be the standard image from when the new credit store UI was implemented). I noticed it the first time when it was rotated in as well, but thought it could've just been because of it being a recent thing, but then the vehicles of last week (the Raiden and Guardian) showed up fine. I know it's a minor thing, I don't at all believe that this should take priority over anything else, but I'm just reporting it for the sake of uniformity. Expected behavior: For the list of vehicles to preview to showcase a thumbnail of the Stafford. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Vehicle license plate number*: N/A
  18. Sure, it'd be a good addition, but I think there'd need to be a revamp of the clothing system to make it work accordingly, I've played around with it in single player and it'd need to allow the option to change accessories, decals and more in uniform. I'm also quite confused with the "forced sever-side mods" thing, it barely changes the uniform at all, and it doesn't replace the standard uniform. It'd be a choice for the officers what kind of uniform they'd like to wear, whether they'd like their insignia on their arms or not, or if they'd rather wear the vanilla uniform - the additions are made to look like GTA graphics as well, it doesn't stand out. Sure, people might not like seeing it.. but what if I don't like the new hairstyles? People still use them. What if I don't like what someone is wearing? They'll still wear it. It's their choice.
  19. +1
