  1. Hello @DylanAnthony, Please read the rules of the subforum before making posts here. This post will be moved to the "Off-Topic" subforum. - NoewUH
  2. Hey @brooklyn123adam, This post has been placed in the wrong subforum on the Eclipse website. Due to this, I will be moving it to the discussion subforum. - NoewUH
  3. be Alba Bus create a sick new driving system attempting to copy the DCC but with a few new features with no scripts involved. advertise the hell out of it. get 10 members. Alba Bus.png
  4. I do see what you mean, though the time needed to wait would be an OOC punishment for death. Having a waiting period after death would entice people to properly roleplay a fear of death (as they would not want to have to wait the limbo period).
  5. Gonna hate to see you go, Tommy! Although I didn't get to know you too close, I loved seeing your enthusiasm for the server and all the great ideas you pushed forward and put effort into. I hope to see you again in the future when rage has come out and we can get a much better and stable platform to host all of your great ideas. Hopefully, if you return to Eclipse, the server will have become something of joy to you again. Keep it... I dunno, cool. - The cutest admin (as voted by the Head Administrator Ballin himself), NoewUH
  6. LIMBO STATE The new feature which I propose is one that I believe will benefit the RP of both sides of a situation. The feature I propose is the Limbo state after death. What is it? The Limbo state is a 10-15 minute period after death, which would be un-returnable from. This state would allow the deceased party to RP death in benefit of other players. The player would be unable to be resuscitated, though they would be able to assist officers and other players in the use of /do's to describe their apparent injuries. This system would also be beneficial for murders and other players alike. This would allow the roleplay of "hiding a dead body" or tampering with evidence to through off police. Dead bodies would be able to be investigated by police to help figure out a cause of death and assist in cases. Also, adding a waiting period after death would entice a greater fear of death on an OOC level. A waiting period might also be beneficial in assisting to combat potential NLR breaches which would be seen due to an instant respawn at the hospital. How can this be added? I believe this can be simply added through a few additions to the server's scripts. We would need to add a 10-15 minute timer after the "death" of a player. We would need to disable the ability of the player to be revived and finally send them to the hospital after the time period ends. I hope you guys enjoy my suggestion if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask. :)
  7. A cop trips on the curb and accidentally knocks over a garbage can* Weazel news: "Word in the street, officer beating up savage members? More, at 9" ... All joking aside, this would be a great idea to do ICly, though it would take a lot of work to have an officer chosen and have clips edited. If you are looking for OOC material, one of the old PD members FatherOsborn made a 4 part series of random clips he had with good editing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEgQuZTKufw Feel free to check it out and leave a like.
  8. SUGGESTION ACCEPTED/LOCKED

    Armor Vest

Those prices seem a little high. I would counter-reccomend a max level of 50 armour for around 20k. @ronyd2k
  10. I guess this suggestion has been accepted? already? Would you like me to close this suggestion @KingCo?
  11. +1 A new set of lower-grade weapons for criminals would be awesome. It would be nice to see criminals using knives and micro-smgs compared to everyone using AR's and shotguns.

    Jewellery

+1 A highly expensive clothing option would be a great implementation! This small suggestion would be great to show off IC and save up for. The only issue I see with this is that we would need a wardrobe system to support such high-priced clothing. If this suggestion were to be implemented, players would lose 200k worth of jewellery if the wanted to change, or remove it.
  13. +1/-1 Though I do agree with you that there should be a "go-to" area to have fun and RP, I do not believe it should be set up using scripts and OOC information. This has worked great in the past with places like the pier and the taqui-la-la. I would be in full favour of attempting to re-introduce and encourage people to visit the taqui-la-la, one of the most underrated locations in the game right now. The exterior can be used to show off vehicles and talk with friends, the interior can be used to RP drinking, playing instruments, talking with friends, and playing poker (a fully scripted texas hold em poker game!). A while back, the taqui-la-la was a great location which players naturally went to when they wanted RP. So in a sense, I would be 100% down for bringing back IC hangout areas.

    Armor Vest

+1/-1 This suggestion is a hard one to consider. On one hand, I feel that it is obvious that criminals should have armour and it should be implemented 100%. Though on the other hand, if it is implemented, every criminal regardless of position within a gang will be using fully supported military-grade body armour. It doesn't make sense that anyone should be able to acquire this level of protection. What I counter-propose, is a lighter alternative. Criminal body armour should give 15-25% armour to more realistically represent what criminals would use. It would make more sense that criminals are running around with custom-made lower quality armour, compared to government supplied mass-produced military-grade body armour. If this were to be implemented, I would be in favour of lowering police body armour to 50% to accurately represent under-armour/ballistic and small arms protective gear.
  15. +1 This sounds like a great idea. Players would actually need to "get a good look" at someone to "remember" their names.
  16. +1 A /seatbelt command that would tie in to the actuall GTA mechanic would be nice. +1, this would be even beyter if it includes actuall damage to the vehicle. -1, armour and bulletbroof tires would jist increase the recklessness of players involved in police chases and criminal activities.
  17. Jesus man, I hate to see you leave. You are truly one of my favourite people on the server as a character and a staff member. Though I wish you could stay, I am glad to see that you are taking the steps in your life to benefit yourself and not keep a tunnel-vision focused on the server. I honestly hope to stay in touch whether that be through Discord, Teamspeak, or AOL. I will miss you tremendously. Your favourite idiot, Miran-the-taco-man. btw everyone knows that farming is better if you cant land a faction job...pfft.... noob. also, don't hate me for missing out on golf with your friends...
  18. -1/+1 Hard to justify this. Nametags give us information OOCly. Similar to how we would receive information ICly through nametags, badges, crew tags, etc.

As this is a repeat post (which I will assume is accidental), I will go ahead and lock/deny this post.
  20. My goodness... Honestly speaking, I can agree with almost everything here. You have brought some amazing ideas to the table, most of which I hope can be implemented. The only issue I see with this is the abudance of script that would be needed to be made with such a small development team.
  21. + 1 Clothes should be able to be stored in houses. Have the number of outfits change depending on the size of the home: 1 car garage = 2 outfits 2 car garage = 5 outfits 3 car garage = 10 outfits 4 car garage = 20 outfits
  22. LUCIUS LABAZANOV [A photo taken of Lucius Labazanov on his 4th birthday, Los Santos, California] Lucius Labazonov, born on January 17th, 2013 to his father, Ruslan Labazanov, and mother, Scarlette Labazanov was a child born with high expectation. He was born in the home of his loving parents in Moscow, Russia. All throughout his childhood, Lucius' father had taught him to carry the Labazanov name and to one day become his successor. Due to the infamous nature of his father, Lucius grew up in Moscow for most of his life primarily learning from his father. In Russia, Lucius learned many skills which would eventually benefit him in Los Santos. When Lucius and his family moved to America, they had enrolled him in a small private school to keep him separated from Ruslan's social life, though as time had progressed, Ruslan knew he would need to reveal his first born child to the world. With all of the stresses which came from the Labazanov home, Lucius often resorted to family friends and godparents for parental guidance and assistance. Now with Lucius growing up in American Culture, along with his notorious parents, Lucius will be expected to carry on the family name and be Ruslan's successor. @Xenon117 @sykotiktv A SMALL AUTO-BIOGRAPHY WRITTEN BY LUCIUS AT AGE 18 I was born on a cold winter day on January 27, 1998, to my mother, Scarlette Syko, and father, Ruslan Labazanov. At the age of 4, my father had decided to move our family to America, to "provide a better life for ourselves", though due to his infamous relationship with the PD and opposing feared criminals, my life had been very hard. Throughout my childhood, I was raised primarily by my godparents, Jim Wessen and Vera Winchester, and my mother, Scarlette Syko (Labazanov). My father had been their half of the time as a drunken man walking around in the broken shell, and the other half as the notorious mob boss, Ruslan Labazanov. The relationship between my father and I had been a minute part of my life, though an important one. He had been one of my greatest role models, a role model I would eventually resent. One of the moments which impacted my development the most originally seemed like an average day at LSC. I had been kidnapped and treated as an object in an attempt to manipulate my father. Due to my father's stubborn nature (one which I would learn to be a negative trait), my kidnappers had decided to use me to send a message to my father. At the age of 10, a man had used my left eye as an ashtray. He had placed a lit cigarette in my eye causing severe damage to my vision and my appearance. At the age of 10, I had been rushed to the hospital with a burnt cornea, a charred spirit and a deadly fear of cigarettes. At the age of 13, I had seen the true colours of my father, ones which disappoint me. On July 3rd, 2010, I had OD'd on drugs which had been offered to me during a party held after my parents' wedding. While recovering from severe wounds (emotionally and physically), I had been taken hostage by the man I once called my father. I was an object once again, though this time, being used to manipulate the police. After a long, fearful situation involving Sergeant Lister, Ruslan had committed suicide in an attempt to "save his son", a pathetic excuse used to mask his cowardliness in attempting to drop his role of a "father". Not until recently, had I found out that Ruslan was not actually dead, he was a man who had escaped his problems by running. My teenaged years had been a blur, besides a few memories I still cherish to this day. All those years cannot be summarized by words on a page. If I could point out the ones I hold close, they would include: My fathers "funeral", the tears I had seen falling down my mother's face; the countless time spent with different psychiatrist's attempting to fix my "broken spirit". I remember playing the guitar with my uncle (baba) Jim, learning of the use of notes in progression to make music and its ability to entice emotion. I remember doing homework with my aunt (moma) Vera, learning different tools I could use to benefit not only my school, though my future. And finally, I remember spending time with my mother, learning about her life before Ruslan, her goals and aspirations. In conclusion, I believe, that everything that has happened to me, has been for a purpose. Every experience, hardship and success I have seen in my life has been for a reason. I could not have imagined my life any other way. Without every experience, hardship, and success I have faced, I would not have become the man that I am today; the man that I will become.
  23. -1 to this. Until super cars are nerfed (speed wise), I cannot be in support of disadvantage the police so strongly. +1. I have been in support of this for the past 3 months. It is unrealalistic to see cops running around with AR’s and mini uzi’s. +1 to both of these.
