  1. By extension im assuming you also want it to force /low? Not sure how i feel about that tbh. i only talk in text chat and at this point i can type /rlow p automatically. and being able to pick and choose the volume of my voice is alot easier through just text.
  2. could actually be quite cool, able to wash if youre near water like fishing or if you have a bottle of water on your person (empties the bottle.)
  3. Kinda nuts that you have to buy a new cloth for every tag you remove. is the spraypaint made of acid or something? it should either be totally reusable or have a durability.
  4. See how the Hotwire kit makes hotwiring faster and easier? that, but for the other tools. Bobby Pins - Pick Rake : Same functional changes as a hotwire kit. reusable but breaks on failure. price in the range of 2-3k each. can be used for house robberies also. Lug Wrench - Impact Wrench: 6 successful skillchecks instead of 10. price about 20k. double the weight of hand tools. Wrench - Power Ratchet: 6 successful skillchecks instead of 10. price about 20k. double the weight of hand tools. These would be tools for the discerning Car enthusiast. purchasable only from certain shady dealers due to the fact they fell off a truck, would constitute stolen goods and would be confiscated by law enforcement if found, same as the hotwire kit. Their high price point and illegal nature would keep the common hand tools relevant.
  5. Hyped for this, Hyped for the fact that the raffle vehicle for a pride parade is a "growler." <3 Ally.

I totally agree but as per Squirtle I presume this is a Rage issue and not staff deciding it would be OP.
  7. Staff already responded unequivocally and whilst i dont always agree with staff i 100% stand with the boys on this. so many games/communities are ruined by cheating i have 0 sympathy for it and ban evasion IS cheating. its the worst kind of cheating because no only did he disregard the rules of the server, he refused to take the punishment and instead broke them again, thinking the rules and appeals process was beneath him. in doing so he blew any chance of regaining staffs trust. stop trying to dress it up and accept that he's never coming back.
  8. Boats do have alot of utility and good criminal orgs make alot of use outa them, but ye for civilian porpoises, pardon the pun, i would love to see some kinda fishing update.
  9. Or a preview as to how the grafitti would look once applied, similar to furniture placement.
  10. 1. The prices and times seem comparable to half chops/carjack chops, plus you dont have to purchase and hold onto tools beyond pick and hotwire. What, if i may ask would happen to half chops were this implemented? 2. So the cops can rply camp the dealers? This dosent sound very good...basically the cops just have to position one cruiser at each dealer within 10 minutes and its checkmate, except for the fact the cop just has to sit there. Does this mean crims will just stockpile a bunch of local cars before bombing it to a dealer themselves an hour later? Sounds boring and tedius on Second thoughts i think id rather just chop the car. I do want to be able to do more things to local cars but i dont think this is quite it.
  11. +1 Im lazy and really eclipse forums is the only off server website i visit for ECRP updates and content. I only really visit the gov website if i need to apply for something.
  12. Im not saying in any way LEOs have it easy when it comes to priortising, and none of my posts are trying to single anyone out or assign blame. im simply recounting my past experiences from my perspective, and providing reasoning as to why i believe in the current state of the server, that attempting to change SAGOV via RP ops and IC interaction is simply impossible, even at peak hours this isnt able to develop. because peak hours means more LEOs but also more crims, meaning the priority will still be to shut it down ASAP. TLDR; the server time factor is almost a moot point.
  13. If im being honest i believe this contributes alot to the clapper mentality problem too. LEOs being inflexible in any kind of RP op, so why bother? lets just roll labs bro. just gonna get my black hoodie, pants socks and sliders on, top it off with a tshirt mask so LEOs cant profile me on sight alone, grab myself a fries and water, a joint if i have one, 4 stack my black kamacho (License plate 11ill1i) and go so far off the grid i might as well be playing on a DM server.
  14. Because it woulda been something fun, new and refreshing? alot of people on this thread are preaching that aww, itll be such cool ops if people made a movement. no it wont, not currently. as you just said LEOs wont let it fly. if we were getting squashed during our playing hours we would get nuked trying it at peak times. so you can have it one way or another, you cant say "oh sort it out ic" and then say "oh we would be mad to allow you to sort it out ic. squash that bug before it turns into an infestation and all that."
  15. Basically this. Prior to UG going out with a bang we were getting turned off at every corner by LEOs. not countered, turned off. no situation/RP was allowed to develop, we were heavily supressed. once arrested the charge stacking resulted in the rest of the night being spent in DOC causing most of us to log. In brief, it just became very unfun to try to be part of an anarchistic gang. OOCly alot of the LEOs didnt seem to grasp what we were trying to create and just saw us as easy arrests. none of the RP ops we tried to develop were allowed to come to fruition, all of them ending in petty arrests and tissue thin escalation, nothing that was a breach of the ruleset, but none of it fun. so alot of our members left/went inactive and the org folded. Broke my heart cus whenever UG was on one it was hella fun, stealing TARVs, graffitiing mission row and city hall, kidnapping GOV employees and this was before the Panim update. imagine what we coulda done...
  16. Doubt this one will ever happen. The cops operate under a very extensive set of guidelines and the argument always comes up that if you are a known crim with a history of voilent crime ofcourse they are gonna stack up when trying to take you down. An argument that whilst has some point to it also is just short hand for "we are punishing you for being an effective criminal who is active and participates in criminal activities." I chalk most of it up to boredom. There isnt enough visible crime happening at times for the ammount of LEOs on, so when something does get called over the radio everyone dogpiles on, or officers try to create their own rp by following known crims around the city.
  17. What did you do when clocked on at burgershot to get assaulted? you understand how escalation works?
  18. Perfectly said. There are alot of burgershot regulars who do just wanna vibe, make food, chill, chat. and its very fun and pleasant. but there are others, a significant portion, who just see it as a place to be a gangster while also getting paid for it as its decent passive income with 0 oversight unless an admin steps in. again, nothing wrong with that, but not while clocked on, you can either get your wage or goon about, you shouldnt have both.
  19. Its a fast food joint....short of them being physically aggressive to you they should get away with anything, you are literally a part time fast food employee in a gig economy in a recession. the number of fucks you should give about "your workplace" are 0. Someone comes in and starts being an asshole? i dont care, not my problem. i just wanna finish my shift and go home to smoke weed. i dont get paid enough to care. i certainly dont get paid enough to start throwing hands over the slightest insult. if i feel threatened, shit guess ill hide behind the counter and maybe call the cops if i feel so inclined. i will definitely not call the boys on burgershot radio to roll up and start laying out a beating.
  20. The salary system used to be alot more lenient. Then it got abused. This is why you now have to be indoors.
  21. Settle down, Jeff Bezos.
  22. This. Marksmen/snipers is too far. agree with the rest tho.
  23. we may be getting slightly off topic here. post is about revising the rules not rethinking burgershot mechanics. but seriously make a forum post with those suggestions
  24. fantastic suggestions. i hope the new food items will be worth purchasing. as 90% of the orders you get are fries and a water.
  25. So I've been doing alot more burgershot work lately, partly because I find something novel about pretending I'm working a minimum wage job in my spare time before going to work my minimum wage job, and partly cus its relatively good safe money. however, I am noticing a worrying trend of burgershot employees basically acting like burgershot is a gang, trying to control who is or isn't allowed on premises (regardless of their behaviour) and trying to enforce it themselves. This is already massively NRP due to the fact that rply, you're clocking on for your lowly paid, boring monotonous job, you shouldn't care about anything other than serving customers food, keeping the place (relatively) clean, new panims are great for this, and not getting fired by your supervisor. you should rply act as if the burgershot is constantly full of people coming and going and therefore trying to bait or conduct any act of aggression is extremely risky and not worth it as you would immediately be fired. During my time working at burgershot i have observed: -Employees baiting customers into fights and then ganging up on them with half a dozen or more employees -Employees Racing their cars around the block, causing a nuisance outside or otherwise not working on premises and then quickly dashing in and out of the store at the change of the hour to collect their salary. -Employees organising attacks, hits, backups and "code reds" on burgershot work freq, where Rply your supervisor would be listening. I've even heard people say "I'm gonna go get my gun" on this freq. Now none of these things are inherently against the rules, my problem with them is doing it while working at burgershot and recieving a wage. if you clock on at burgershot, you should clock on to work, and act like you would expect an employee to act if you walked into a fast food restaurant IRL. not clock on to farm a salary while goofing off. and I would like a rule or addendum to a rule to be put in place to make this clear. there has already been multiple admin warnings and forum reports regarding this sort of behaviour and frankly I'm getting a little tired of it. "If you clock on at burgershot, you should conduct yourself as if you are an employee under direct supervision of a manager both visually and over radio, not as if you're left at the store on your own with no supervision and no consequences of your actions."
