He was pulled over because he was speeding up the county road while we were looking for another vehicle that had just evaded. He wasn't pulled over for the bag. The bag was just a good guess. Then you guys decided to shoot at my traffic stop because he was in cuffs, hadn't even been searched yet. Do with that what you will.

BUMP, since we now have the /setped command available to admins this is even more possible.

The UI is heavily misleading and we acknolwedged this in the first place as a faction(s) when we asked during the clothing update what the values are. I've tested it myself. For example when you eat/drink a food item from the point of value 0, the food bar will disappear, but you're still not full until you eat/drink the item to the point it disappears from your inventory and the UI will tell you that "you are now full" at the top and keeps filling even though the UI disappeared - so what I'm esentially saying is, is that when you see the bar full, its not actually full because it still has a bit to go to max that you cannot see. This is also the same for the breathing UI when you're underwater but it goes the opposite way, instead of filling it decreases. That's why deciding whether you're about to die when you're swimming underwater is such a gamble because it is not presented to you accurately. If you were to take the OLD UI that had the bar from GTA:O it would look like it is supposed to. The UI via the inventory is just incorrect or weirdly displayed. I'd agree with you it looks like a 175 if you were to work it out by adding 50 each time, but it's not. I also had this problem when the clothing update came and it had to be clarified when we asked, and we (Alex & I) did, several times. The armor value isn't dependent on the UI, it's attached to the armor through coding by devs to the clothing item. There is no armor value in the server for 175 AP that is obtainable through IC means as far as we all know. What you have in that screenshot is actually 150 AP, as that is the same armor I equip, and have been told since the launch of the clothing update which removed 200 AP from LEO. LEO's asked for a -50 to the 200 AP value, not -25.

I will say it since people want to pick around answers! Nobody in PD has more than 150 AP! SWAT/GND = 150 ANYTHING ELSE = 100/50 Hope that clarifies it!

Make it available for us to take guns from cops

I think the issue lies in the fact perhaps that you don't want to interact with LEO's unless you gain asset value from it. There are many other criminal factions who willingly put themselves into fighting situations in order to have that interaction/roleplay with cops regardless of them not gaining anything from it and somehow they get some enjoyment out of it. Underground was a prime example for this quite a bit ago. LEO factions are meant to be an obstacle for you as unfortunate as it sounds. Unless the loadout feature for LEO's changed for it to be monetary rather than free of charge - this would be a different argument. The last time LEO's were able to drop guns it was taken away VERY QUICKLY for the exact reason many people are stating now. It's just not feasible especially in an economy driven server. -

-1 the same way that people say we spawn in with "free 150 ap and mk II guns" i wouldn't like to see the aftermath of the night shift after 20 cops get floored for free guns. especially since we have faction members that do not specalise in pvp based interactions. 1 cop gets into a situation, 4 crims crowd around them, backup from cop side comes, one gets arrested for any type of obstruction/failiure to identify charge, crims try to rescue their friend = eventual shootout and loot galore very typical scenario. happens a lot. -
+1 as someone who is highly invested in the k9 division on the lspd side, it will encourage people to be immersed more into the fact its not a regular pet, more so a "highly trained and capable" dog. not sure how hard this would be to implement, however, i am aware it can be done as i have seen the german shepherd model that you are talking about.

my 4 mil drag can't hit 240. the max it hits is 205-10 depending on fps WITHOUT the broken mod that shouldn't be there. now understandably that's a bike. there is no 500k car that can maintain 240 on any surface and accelerates to 240 in 5 seconds for under 500k. the GTO got the same exact complaints as the niobe did. it pushed out the same speed and was also for a ridiclous amount of $. why are we encouraging pay to win instead of grind reward? people will sit on this server for 40 hrs a week grinding money to buy obtainable cars that aren't that broken and go 240 and when a flash sale comes out for broken cars they're supposed to be happy? so what you're saying is lets support p2w instead of maintaining activity on the server and integrity from players?? it's great that we're supporting the server by buying credits but you will keep more players with balanced mechanics than you will flash sales.
-
you just answered your own comment. yes its not fair, for anyone, not just LEO. what happens in a crim v crim chase? this argument about the niobe doesn't just apply to LEO. its a win button pushed by irl currency. not everybody is in a financial standpoint where they can spill 250 bucks just to get ahead, not to mention with a mechanic that had no business being there in the first place. it would be different if the car was obtainable with ic currency. change the car. if you spent 250 bucks to knowingly abuse a mod that breaks the car to max speed that's your own fault. let people refund the car and get their credits back if it really bothers them that much. put out another car that doesn't have this issue, but more or less is worth a similar price tag. there is no reason a car should be flooring 240 km/h on any surface in 5-10 seconds and be hidden behind a pay wall.

i get the idea but the fact that when a lab gets shut down its already a massive kick in the throat to crims for reasons stated above. most people utilise coke, marijuana and lsd tables as other drugs at the moment are just not deemed worth your money/time to cook even with all the different consumption effects or taking boosting sale prices into account. things need to be balanced a bit more first.

Pets - Make them able to attack people with an ID directed command. It doesn't need to deal actual damage as I already know this possibly could have complications due to sync. It would be nice if it would put the player into the anim of takedown, similar to the tackle as it is done in base game. Pets aren't used a lot, feel like this would give more incentive to use them and create some scenarios. For civilians and PD.

i understand where this thread is coming from and i agree with it to an extent but the main issue to me is DM rule in this scenario as it is with many others, not the act of calling the cops. there is no way to stop a snitch until they actually commit the act of snitching and at that point you either have to 1) pack up and go (which you 100% won't have time to do if its a chop) or let your things be seized by PD/SD or 2) deal with the cops and the latter option is not the wisest or the most fun for some players. you may only kill somebody AFTER they have already snitched on you and killed your whole activity. your prevention tactics are minimal unless you sit there and keep the person held up if you manage to catch them circling the lab/watching you until you are finished with the activity you are engaged in. it will involve the other person sitting doing nothing for the next 2 hours being held up by several people and the other sitting and pointing a gun at their head for 2 hours also doing nothing so they can't call the cops. that is the only way to prevent somebody from calling the cops on you if you suspect it being a possibility apart from ensuring you are not followed or in a good location that cannot be spotted. it doesn't sound the most fun, to me at least, and it is something that people have been forced to do before due to the fact that the DM rule is so strict. to a lot of players, shit talking another gang member should be valid dm rights - however here it is not. same with somebody spotting you doing something illegal in a lab - you cannot kill somebody just for seeing you do something that is considered "high-risk". there is no way to protect yourself prior to this without wasting your time (i.e holding somebody up for ages) and this ultimately falls down to that rule. i would be completely fine with somebody calling the cops on me in a lab or a chop if i could prevent it without oocly being punished.

Criminals have access to meta vehicles like the Issi Sport, Paragon, Drag and the 8F Drafter (which outpaces even the high speed when taking tight turns) while cops regularly have access to about 5 different types of vehicles. There are criminals with cars like the Itali GTO which was available for a limited amount of time for credit purchase and it takes about 10 cops and 20 minutes to be able to catch it if at all because that vehicle can floor it and reach 230 almost anywhere as it is branded as a super car. Criminals are at an insane advantage at different times of the day in chases simply out of the fact it depends who's on faction duty and has access to what vehicle because not all standard cops can just pull out a Jugular or a bike - which you can also buy too. What part is unfair? Also - if cops weren't able to access bikes... what exactly are they meant to do if you evade on a bike and send it off-road or try and follow you in a 4x4 car through a tight staircase? Let you go? These criminals vs pd threads pop up all the time and it's always the same - you are playing a criminal and you are not restricted as to what you can use and do while factions like PD and SD are restricted to regulations and conduct while trying to catch you. Use it to your advantage.
