2021 rules coming back to PD?

Supers have been long gone since 2021 for PD/SD.

Why now does PD need Supers when the server's continuing to decline in player count.

I'll answer this, as ultimately it was my decision to add the vehicle in the first place.

Regarding any rule, there was no rule, it was just simply a decision that we made as a collective to go ahead with. It was something that I had proposed doing, in part because the super cars that we had did not have any lights or sirens so in terms of function, there was a drawback to using it. Additionally, we wanted to pursue perhaps more of a realistic direction at that time.

Now, as far as player counts go, respectfully there are 137 people in the LSPD faction and 84 people in the LSSD faction, that's 221 people. Are the PD and SD factions not deserving of support as well as the other factions and areas of the server? Is PD and SD people getting bored and fed up with the same old same and leaving the server not also detrimental? I'd answer that part by saying there are a number of factors why the server population is less but thats another thread for another time.

I've done my fair share, even as someone that has mained a cop on the server, for the criminals. Whether that's map support for the official factions, threads, or creating custom drip for them. I've done those things, at times, in spite of what management wanted and it's fucking cost me, I can't lie. But, I'm not just modding for cops, I'm modding for everyone.

I'll be transparent with you, the D10 isn't the only high performance vehicle that I have ideas to add for law enforcement and the reason being, because it serves a purpose. @Lincoln Derose is unfortunately talking crap, because there are only specific circumstances in which we can use it. I know this because I'm the one that oversees that in PD and if I see instances of people fucking about, misusing these things then they'll feel the business end of my foot in their ass for sure. If Legal Faction Management want to sit down and have a conversation about our usgae, then we can have that as well, no problem.

If we're concerned about high performance vehicles, do we want to start getting rid of the Issi Sports and the Paragons and the Jugulars from the server? No, of course not. Do we want to stop people taking bikes off-road when they're in pursuits with cars? No, of course not. Do we want to allow these sort of vehicles to go off-road or to start ramming people? No, of course not.

I actually respect the fact that you're concerned enough @checkky to make a thread on it and I can see why you'd feel some type of way, but there are ideas to add some more high performance vehicles for civilians as well. I'm sure I'll have some concerned cops in my DMs about those, such is life.

What I'll end on, is that I and in fact the rest of the team are conscious of preserving a reasonable level of balance where possible. As far as I'm concerned, I'm a modder first and a PD member second in these things.

I think the main issue with this addition is its a vehicle thats not obtainable in game for criminals creating an unfair balance, there is one of them on the server for players to own and it is owned by an admin on a PD character. I think if PD is able to be using it it should be added to both the vehicle dealerships and the credit store so criminals are also able to play on a level playing field.

I am going to have to respectfully disagree with this here. There are already a multitude of vehicles that crims have access to either through dealerships or credit store that LEO's cannot gain access to. One being specifically the Issi Sport. We have other vehicles that we use to combat this, but the D10 is not one of those that I feel is that much of a deal breaker.

not being funny mate but every time an issi sport evades there are two shinobis on it within 5minutes so that point is completely irrelevant, however d10 is still shit, paragon/jugular dust it all day every day. skill issue if u can't lose it guys.

The point is NOT completely irrelevant. The point is completely relevant, we have to adopt different strategies to keep up with specific cars, which means we develop and hone skills to keep up in a pursuit. Adding the D10, which is not that as great as people think is not going to unravel and imbalance the fun that is a pursuit.

Well, if you think about it, the Jugular wasn't obtainable either until the PD had one so perhaps this is something that the staff team could look into? But at the same time, not everything has to be identical to be balanced.

As for the D10 not being that great, if you don't need to do silly things like brake and turn then it's great.

well considering I seen the same LEO just sitting around in a PD super cause he feels like it, I don’t think that’s the case.

How do you he feels like it? Did you ask him?

Plus if he's just sitting around in it, he's not chasing anyone is he?

"Plus, if he's just sitting around in it, he's not chasing anyone is he?" what do you think he's waiting for? it's very clear he's just waiting for a chase of any vehicle. It's not even the fact that he's using a super, the super isn't that good, even said by yourself. It's the principle that LEO'S just do what they want without any repercussions. Even with every advantage they have it's just another one you can add to the list.

I think pd is built like there is still 40 man gangs that hit 40 members online and team up against them, the pd to crim balance is so out of wack right now its insane. Like for a crim gang a lot of people is 20-25 people

Again since this has been an exclusive car to @Ranger for Burnout Nation, I was never told that it was nerfed a “Sports” car. I was still under the impression it goes 240 almost everywhere.

He's waiting for you to come by Lincoln and see him in it and jump to conclusions about it in a forum thread. Time is a flat circle.

As a crim, I still think that car is just something for PD to change up, so they arent stuck in a jug all day or shinobi. It's a good car, seems balanced.

Most maxed sports cars - Jug, 10F, Paragon leave it in the dust.

What about all the criminals that bought the Itali GTO when it was available, or all the people that have access to one? All the comet retro customs that were purchased when available?

Should PD get Itali GTOs and comet retros now to balance it out? No. Civilians and criminals don't need identical cars to PD to make it "balanced", you have cars that are way better. The D10 isn't even that big of a deal in my opinion, the jugular is still used by most. Not to mention the limited amount of people that even have access to these vehicles from PD.

Sir I payed good money for my retro

But ye d10 should get removed doesn't make any sense at all.

If PD are struggling to catch people It's most likely down to a skill issue.

Along with the helicopter and access to attachments I don't think a d10 is neccesary seeing as most pd members that commented on this thread seem to think the jugular is far better
