Eliza Posted November 27, 2023 Report Posted November 27, 2023 Hey peeps, Currently with the system for chopping at labs, I feel like with having to push your vehicles that you’re chopping at labs, I don’t think anybody has ever used the car jack since there’s already a car lift, which is much easier when it comes to taking off wheels and doors. Most of the time, the car jacks tend to get in the way, because they’re obsolete and it’s already hard enough getting vehicles to turn while pushing. My suggestion is to just remove the car jack, as I feel like it would be much easier moving the vehicles into the car lift from the engine hoist. 2 Quote

Madbatman08 Posted November 27, 2023 Report Posted November 27, 2023 +1 Having both a car jack and car lift makes 0 sense to begin with. As they said, it just gets in the way. Quote
Bala Posted November 27, 2023 Report Posted November 27, 2023 It makes sense if you are trying to chop two vehicles, no? Quote

It dosent really work that way, a well organised chop crew will organise and divide labour over pushing cars, chopping parts, removing engines, there's a system but everything revolves around that car lift. because the small jack is fixed to the ground and cannot be maneuvered it just makes things awkward it might as well be a concrete pillar. and ultimately if you want to full chop, every car will need to go through the large jack anyways. Bala Posted November 27, 2023 Report Posted November 27, 2023 Unless it's really in the way, which at least for Chilliad it's not, I don't see a point in removing it. Quote

The really annoying one for me is northlabs/holeinwall. its slap bang in the middle as youre driving in and out and against that backdrop it can be quite hard to see. it can also get in the way when youre pushing back after taking the engine out. Chris_ Posted November 27, 2023 Report Posted November 27, 2023 +1 The CarJack serves a inferior purpose to the CarLift and is just truthfully in the way 90% of the time. I see 0 point for them to be in the main labs maybe they could serve a purpose elsewhere as a "Lowkey less risky half chop spot" Quote
Jett_J Posted November 27, 2023 Report Posted November 27, 2023 Don't remove it, just move it out of the way in the problematic locations. Quote
Fupii Posted November 27, 2023 Report Posted November 27, 2023 Move them to the old chop locations. Will bring more crim action to the city besides garbage and banks Quote
