  1. +1 I'd rather forced first person for drivebys (regardless if driver or passenger) than the removal of automatics altogether.
  2. +1 ingame currency supercars YES.
  3. To be honest, it's pretty clear GND needs some reigning in - considering basically every crim faction is dead. Not putting blame on anyone, just addressing an obvious concern. I've basically abandoned my crim alt altogether because *it's impossible / isn't fun* with the current dynamic. That's all I'm going to say because I don't feel like getting lit up for having an opinion.
  4. +1 this sounds fun!
  5. +1 it opens up a lot of very interesting corruption rp options for folks "on the payroll"/etc this sounds super fun
  6. -1 there's already been a lot of MD RP that's been lost between fires/labs/etc we can't keep removing reasons for people to do anything other than cop/crim.
  7. Almost impossible being key. It absolutely happens. NYC swimmers do it regularly with high end BMW / Audi stuff in heavy traffic. A supercar is a Super Car - they're kind of wild by design and many were built specifically to push limits. That said, it'd be interesting if SD had a recon plane. Plane speed enforcement has an IRL equivalent so it's not non rp, and a propeller powered Cessna-esque craft would work really well in that role. Now there's a faster - perhaps rarer - version of air support.
  8. Bala this is fire. If I can make one additional suggestion: bring back apt fires (even if they're instanced) + more fire-based random events and-or more forensics collab b/w PD and MD? Explosions are fun and give MD a little more to do, and forensics is a cool way to build some interdepartmental familiarity and interaction. Great ideas!
  9. Extra + 1 this is a good idea.
  10. I have literally experienced the exact opposite. It seems like it's raining like 70% of the time and it's ALWAYS an insane tropical storm. I'd love if they killed weather more often lmao
  11. Very cool stuff! :3
  12. What I mean is I wouldn't trust ANY group who routinely engages in PvP to be their *own* check. I do not believe it makes sense to have members of PD/SD become the only authority to determine guilt/innocence especially considering how much power over a player's future they *already* have. To me, even suggesting that seems bizarre. And since you asked, yeah. I went through FRD, and the various challenges and other negative things from certain individuals. I went through JB and eventually managed to have a felony and misdemeanour removed from my character's record, something that would have ruined her career and destroyed most of the opportunities she's most interested in. It made for interesting RP, gave her a hell of a backstory, and also encouraged a lot of discussion around things I won't mention for respect of not wanting it to come off as an accusation. I also worked adjacent to JB when I did PR for SAGOV, and was often liaising between civilians, LEOs, the "legally challenged", and by facilitating meetings and fielding questions, yeah. I got a lot of feedback and insight into some of what's going on.
  13. Yeah license plate printers! +1
  14. Thank you for your feedback. I will take it into consideration. I apologize if I came off more aggressive than I'd meant to.
  15. This isn't slander. Every PvP faction has bad apples in them. All of them. I appreciate there are checks and balances to try to weed those out but let's be real. I *could* name names if I wanted to but I'm choosing not to, out of respect for those individuals and because I don't want to - as someone else put it - 'throw wild accusations around'. As I've mentioned, we're organizing to report more aggressively as folks (like you in this case) try to silence or monopolize any discourse around the issue so there are fewer and fewer options for resolution available. Stay tuned; we're working on it. Police being 'judge, jury, and executioner' is... distasteful and encourages bad behaviour. Finally, to move back to the topic: The best outcome - for the majority of players (most of which play crim) - would be a course correction for JB - not an outright dissolution.
  16. You act dismissive and disrespectful and then act shocked when you get the same. It may surprise you but I'm not 'out to get you'. I'm genuinely trying to make things work better and you seem to be the only one who thinks kaiboshing the JB altogether is the way forward. And there is tremendous amounts wrong with 'trusting' the police to *police themselves*. That -does not work-. And I don't think I need to get into why - it's evident. Experience is valid, but so is a fresh perspective - which is one you lack. Plus, IA and JB are two different machines meant for two very different things. I like JB. I think there's a place for JB. I'm not interested in you trying to monopolize the conversation. You've said your piece. Now can we please stick to the matter at hand.

  19. This is distracting from the actual point which is that unfortunately there is a growing habit of officers placing arbitrary charges or even stating that they don't need to have proof to do so. It's not uncommon, it's happened to most people I know who play crim. I realize you're uncomfortable with that sentiment but it is the reality. JB is a necessity because we cannot trust PD/SD to be autonomous and fair. Going back and forth on this is unhelpful to everyone. There are good officers out there. And honestly I love interacting with them. But to imply that the issues that are plaguing the server are either just made up or "not that bad" is nonsense. It's extremely onerous to report these incidents when they happen, but we're organizing to do more of that now because apparently that's the only recourse we're allowed to have. Your opinion is clear, but it's also abundantly clear that there are many individuals who disagree with you. So, please. Can we stay on topic re: how to improve JB Thank you.
