ECLIPSE Roleplay Update Notes - 2.1.5

 

Crafting (drugs)
Created a crafting system
Created a crafting menu UI
Created crafting materials
Created crafting supplies
Created destructible crafting structures
Created crafting recipes (characters can learn them)

Plantations
Updated plantation menu UI
Updated plantation visual elements (markers, labels)
Added more plantations (all of them are hidden from the map)
Added the ability for characters to learn the locations of plantations
Greatly increased marijuana spawn rate, slightly decreased it's growth time
Increased marijuana harvest yield from 1 to 3 units per plant
Marijuana seeds are now an inventory item
Marijuana plants can be destroyed with the help of a jerry can (read in-game instructions)

Drop-off points
Created a drop-off point script for selling drugs (to the server)
Drop-off points are initially hidden, but characters can learn them
Drug prices are made to be dynamic and change over item

API (useful for future features)
Added an API, where synced explosions can be created by the server
Added an API, where synced fires can be created by the server
Added an API, where visual entities (2D and 3D) can be drawn and updated by the server

Inventory
Updated the inventory menu UI

Store robberies
Added dimension check to store robberies
Added stricter position check to store robberies

Warehouses
Removed drug shipments

Context menu
Improved context menu

Bug fixes
Fixed Trevor's trailer interior loading
Increased general store robbery distance

It won't probably remove dealers, players still want to be able to take drugs, drugs were never 100% about money anyways.

I know, but you don't find someone to sell drugs to every time you want to sell em, so they'll just go to the drop off point instead of waiting to sell. The warehouse import removal was also a very dumb decision.

Finally someone that agrees with me. I wouldn't call it a dumb decision, just one that could be asked along the community. I disagree with it because it will completely make drugs a new money farm instead of an RP situation. No one will be making drugs deals, rather farm money. Also, don't we already have a job where we can sell drugs to the server? Why make the same job twice? Unless that one was removed, I could agree with adding this feature. Right now, the only thing I'm against is the removal of the drug importation. 

Imo what could be done is increase the price and delivery time. Could there be a vote for this? I'd like to hear other people.
