  1. LifeInvader is a social media platform that would realiatically RPly have hundreds of moderation staff and some sort of flagging system that would detect illegal discussions happening. I think it would be Non RP to be able to use a platform such as this to discuss such activities without being caught almost immediately.
  2. +1 very much agree. There is no reason to disallow macros to type lines of RP that would be attempted to be performed ICly the exact same way every time.
  3. Doesn't make sense to me to spend $5.5 million on a helicopter to then have to resort to waiting on a taxi that may be coming from where you just flew from. Realistically, any sort of airfield would have parking for personal ground vehicles.
  4. Went on my first flight with my new helicopter earlier and it made me realise that helicopters are not viable modes of transport without the ability to have a ground vehicle(s) parked at an airport for you to leave the airport in. Also, it doesn't make sense to drive to the airport, leave your vehicle out in the open and fly away in the helicopter. TL;DR: Please add ground vehicle parking to each Aircraft parking area, or enable ground vehicles to be parked in the same parking spots as aircraft.
  5. I don't believe this makes sense. If someone is bleeding out quickly, you would feel rushed to treat them quickly which is what needing to type quickly replicates. If someone types a short sentence of medical RP that would not depict good quality treatment ICly, then thats perfect. You should need to take the time to type properly (treat them properly).
  6. +1 This suggestion. From my point of view being in PD as it is right now, we shoot someone down to an injured state and immediately it's "Get BLS on him now!" and we pretty much unrealistically guarantee that some guy who has just been shot 6 times isn't going to immediately die. This adds no substance to my roleplay especially in tense situations such as hostage situations. These could go on for 30 minutes with good roleplay, ending up in us shooting down the hostage taker only to guarantee revive them and send them to prison to move on with our day. Personally, I find it very cheap that a situation can go on for a good stretch of time where we are arguing back and forth with a hostage taker who eventually forces us to shoot them down and then we just ship them to a hospital and have an awkward ride to DOC. Realistically in most situations whether is be Gang shootouts, PD vs. Gang shootouts, hostage situations etc, there would be many more casualties due to excessive bleeding that you would not be able to treat. I think it would be extremely beneficial to this type of roleplay to have bleeding out modifiers such as; Head GSW: 1 min 30 secs bleed out time. Chest/Spine GSW: 2 mins 30 secs bleed out time. Arms/Legs GSW: 3 minutes 30 sec bleed out time. Hands/Feet GSW: 4 mins 30 sec bleed out time. Everything else such as Blunt trauma: 5 mins bleed out time. This would add more in depth roleplay to hostage situations/executions where headshots should not be one shot kill, but be more consequential than shoot, injure, treat, jail.

    Burnout Nation

After the conclusion of the most recent SWAT Academy, Don and Gareth thought up a plan to bring the SWAT team closer together in a night of fun and games. They decided to use the Cigar Lounge in the back of The Lot Nightclub to host the get-together. With lots of laughs and lots of smoke in the air, the team found themselves getting to know each other better as 80's Rock played in the background. After they had smoked and drank themselves to the point of near death, the team moved into the bar to play darts at the suggestion of Don. Playing darts just for fun seemed a tad lack luster to them so of course they incorporated some bets into the mix. Babatunda vs. Longford with the loser having to shave their beard off down to a baby face. | Longford won. Don vs. Alex with the loser having to drive the cruiser when ever they are patrolling together for a week. | Don won. Breacher vs. Sanchez with the loser having to dress and perform duties like a Cadet for a week. | Breacher won. While the night was still young, a few stragglers found themselves showing up and joining in on the fun. Commissioner Langley arrived and brought his lively attitude, inviting SD into the mix. When the rounds of darts had been played, everyone was ready to see Babatunda have his beard shaved. Longford ended up doing it himself but decided to leave him with a goatee like a Spanish pirate. Collie showed up for some reason, idk why tbh
  8. Polling systems can be set up ICly whether thats an event set up in person by the government or a topic on the government website. IC changes should and can be prompted ICly. Archived.
  9. Helmets are now available in clothing stores. Archived.
  10. You can report the stolen vehicle to any police officer and they can make a BOLO notice (Be On Lookout notice) to try to find the vehicle. Archived.
  11. Fishing is now possible at most places where there is a body of water so it is now possible from boats. Archived.
  12. Currently, when fishing from boats, you are stuck in the animation of fishing so the boat can move freely while leaving you behind. To make the use of boats more reliable and ultimately, more enjoyable, the fishing animation should not freeze you in place and should allow the movements of the boat to carry you.
  13. The markers have been updated to have a black outline to the text so it can be seen on any background. Archived.

    few suggestions

Since this suggestion, Paleto has become a hub for more RP and players have many more reasons to go there. With the trucker job, bus job, high end, Bayview, SD and the Coroner job, Paleto attracts a lot more players that now come to these businesses. Archived.

    Burnout Nation

As Burnout Nation left October behind and welcomed the winter as they entered November, the Founders began to reflect on the majority of the year that has passed. From Car Shows and Cruises to Parties and Parades, the Founders realised just how much Burnout Nation as a whole has achieved. We all take pride in identifying ourselves as one solid unit of friends and family, creating strong bonds with those who want to join. To represent this identity, we have been sporting the primary colour of white on our daily drivers and have been wearing white tops in our outfits. While many people enjoy this method of displaying our unity, the Founders believed there were some revisions that needed to be made that would allow members to express their creativity with their cars. The introduction of allowing each member to paint their car whatever colour they wanted was not a new idea by any means, but it recently began to seem more appealing to the Founders. They called everyone in Burnout to The Lot to share the good news in person and to explain the reason for the decision. Saying that the news was well received would be an understatement. Once Don and Asbo finished up with delivering the news, everyone made their way to LSC to show their true colours.

    Burnout Nation

3 days ago, we bid farewell to our beloved friend Alex Odinson/Sorvanis for the next 9 or so months as he leaves for the Greek Military. While he will still stay in touch, he will not be able to do so for the foreseeable future so I would like to reminisce on some of the good times Alex has shared with us over the 2 years he has been on the server. Alex joined the server back in September 2019 at the same time as me. We both applied to Bayview Autocenter and got accepted to become trainee mechanics. At this point, we did not know each other and with both of us being practically brand new to the server, neither of us were very talkative or sociable so we kept to ourselves. However, with me discovering that the server had speakers, I put one down on the ledge at the old Bayview shop and thinking nothing of it, stuck on some good old Avenged Sevenfold. To my surprise, Alex liked Avenged Sevenfold too and was excited that I put them on. I look back fondly at this moment as it was the point where mine and Alex's friendship started. From then, Alex and I only became better friends, speaking to and roleplaying together almost everyday since although there were some breaks in between. Nevertheless, Alex and myself stuck together as the time went on. Through the handover of ownership of Bayview in 2019 to the migration up to Paleto in April 2020, we were both there for it all. As many people did not like the move up to Paleto, we lost many employees, but with that, we also had a fresh influx of interested applicants, one of them being Don Mozzarella. This is how Alex and I met Don. I rejected his application to Bayview once, but then gave him a second chance to come in for an interview. Luckily I did because once he joined the team, the 3 of us became best friends. Over the next few months, we would take on more employees including Maccy Kentworth and Asbjorn Schmidt (although it wasn't a smooth entry into Bayview for him). Both Maccy and Asbo had come from the LSMC where they had a whole group of their own friends who we would eventually become close with too. With Don, Maccy and Asbo already knowing each other, it was a clear gateway for Alex and I to join that friend group. At this point, Burnout Nation was not a thing, but it soon crept up on us. As the summer of 2020 came to an end, Alex had the opportunity to go and work for a couple of months away from home. To tell no lies, I hated these couple of months. I didn't expect to miss someone that much but honestly, it was tough. Nevertheless, I pushed through it and he came back. A lot had changed in those couple of months. Burnout Nation was formed in August, I decided to leave Bayview to focus on PD and to join Burnout officially. When Alex found out about Burnout, he didn't pay much attention to the Car Group itself, but he invested himself into the friend group within. Ever since then, Alex had shared so many memories with all of us at the majority of the Burnout events which can be seen previously on this thread. From September 2020 to September 2021, Alex had been there with us for it all. I had known for a long time that Greece has a mandatory 9 month period of service that all men have to serve and that Alex had not served it yet. When he told me about it, I didn't think to much of it as it seemed like so far away at the time, but little did I know that it would creep up extremely quickly. September 19th 2021 is when Alex was scheduled to leave so for one last Hoo-rah, we held a party for Alex at the old Bayview lot for every one of his friends to come celebrate and spend some time with him before he left. Everyone enjoyed the party and had a great time with Alex. I think it is fair to say on everyone's behalf, that Alex is one of the greatest friends we could have. The amount of fun and joy he brings to any situation is unmatchable in my opinion and I will miss him dearly along with everyone else. As a final message to you Alex, I wish you the best of luck in the Army and while not every moment of it will be pleasant, I hope you enjoy it and learn loads from it. We will be waiting for you when you get home, bro. Den klew egw, esu kles. o7.
  20. Massive +1 for this. It would be a huge amount of work but it would be so worth it for everyone.
