    Four Seas Order

家 (Home) --- When Chi came into town she was greeted with a welcome message: “We have enough in the treasury to purchase the Noodle House!” This was more than welcome as the gang was in a season of some change and a reminder of our goals was just what the doctor ordered. Brandon and Chi discussed whether to wait for Jae to return from vacation to purchase our HQ but we decided that this was an important move to motivate our guy’s in the midst of the conflict around the city. We reached out to Bruce Wong and let him know we were ready to put down the purchase. In due time he reached out and let us know that we could meet him and some other high command at the Triad HQ Board Room. Three of us; Brandon Fitz, Dlugi Macshea, and Chi herself attended this meeting. They were greeted with familiar faces as they entered, namely, Bruce Wong, Al Draco and Zach Wong. Once we all arrived the contract was printed out and the purchase contract was signed. From there we moved to Los Santos Bank where we could transfer the sum for the purchase to Bruce Wong. Brandon received the amount in a safety deposit box and gave it over to Bruce. After checking the amount he deposited it therefore sealing the deal of the purchase. Finally they headed over to Noodle House where Bruce gave Chi the keys to their new HQ. Brandon and Chi made sure to express their gratitude for this new property and for the deal they had with Bruce regarding it. Four Seas Order will never forget the kindness shown to them by the Triads, nor the relationships they have within it. We discussed upcoming events and how the Noodle House would be used. Chi personally extended an invitation to Bruce and all Triads to attend our grand opening of the Noodle House for noodles - on the house. The mood was optimistic all around - Four Seas Order finally had an HQ to call home and to base operations out of and to create relations with other groups in the city. This was an ultimately important move in our organizations history. Following the purchase we called all available FSO to Noodle House. Once inside members were presented with their copy of the keys and given the great news. Everyone was ecstatic - this was something we had worked hard day and night for. Despite anything negative that had happened that week this shined brightly as an accomplishment that would buoy us on towards our other goals and future as well. We all took a moment to kneel and express gratitude as well as think of our intentions as we move into this HQ.
  4. Can't wait to RP with y'all more! So far nothing but awesomeness!!
  5. I have often discussed with people how they miss the social aspect of cooking at labs. The new mobile labs are also AMAZING. so not to say anything whatsoever about that at all. I would love if there was some draw to still cook at the labs. I miss camping out at LSD. holding down a lab with a crew, and it was a great potential bust for PD and such too. Perhaps if like "lower" or "less expensive" drugs could be made there keeping the best money makers for the mobile tables but giving a reason for the labs other than just the plants? I am very interested to see everyone's ideas.

休息 (Taking A Break) “The noodles are on.” - It had been a busy day for everyone. Lots of chasing, shooting, watching people sit at the bank. There seemed to never be a rest in sight. Everyone was doing hard work, leaning on one another, improving our call outs, improving our teamwork, and just altogether working together. Finally there seemed to be a break in the fighting for the day. FSO grouped up at Noodle House to relax a little bit. It all started when Jay Lau put a huge pot of noodles on the stove that we realized we had a chance to provide a little bit of relaxation for everyone we were fighting alongside. Charlie flipped on her radio and sent out the news: “For anyone who is bored at the moment, come on by, the noodles are on” Before FSO knew it, we had people stopping by coming in to relax, clean their tools, just sit in some peace and quiet. It was a tranquil place where jokes were shared, conversation had, and people who didn’t know each other got to know one another. Jay Lau, Conner Decker, and Johmarcus Johnson worked hard in the kitchen cooking up noodles and putting bowls of steaming hot noodles on the counter for everyone to enjoy. Our Azteca friends requested some tacos and some tequila. We didn’t have any on hand but sure enough Jay Lau made a special trip to the store to accommodate. Being a good host is such an important quality and one that FSO takes very seriously. Chi did however draw the line when one customer asked for Fish and Chips and instead offered some of her homemade shrimp ramen. Everyone relaxed, ate food, and enjoyed their time together not having to focus on chases or shootouts for even a brief few moments. Soon we all gathered around one table as we began to share our shared experiences in the city. From gangs that we had been a part of to gangs that had only sprung up for a moment. We discussed tales and stories from the city's history. Reminiscing on the great gangs of the city and how they got there. Everyone shared and everyone listened. The amount of experience in the room was astounding. In times of war these moments are so special, getting to pause and laugh, relax, leaving the hustle and bustle behind even for a few moments. After a short bit a call came over radio that backup was needed. And as quickly as Noodle Shop filled up it emptied out as we all left to respond.

    Four Seas Order

联盟 (The First Wave) - It had been a little more than a week since Jae and Charlie had taken on the first wave of trials for the Four Seas Order. It was time for our first gang meeting. We all came together at our HQ for our first meeting, and we would see who would join the family officially that day. The previous day Jae, Charlie, and Brandon had gone aside to discuss all the trials and their progress during that week. Jae started the meeting off going over the past week as well as talking through our treasury runs and what goals we would be working on for the next few weeks. The mood in the room was optimistic. Then he handed it off to Charlie for the promotion ceremony. Charlie called up those who were being promoted and asked them to kneel in front of the rest. After naming those who would be promoted she explained the importance of being serious about committing to the Order. She paused for any who had any concerns to voice them. No one did. Charlie continued with the oath asking each to repeat after her which they did. She then took the bowl over to Jae offering him her switchblade. He took it and sliced his hand letting some blood drop into the bowl. Charlie handed him the bowl taking the switchblade and did the same, wincing slightly as some drops fell into the bowl. Taking the bowl she walked over to each of the trials pausing in front of them. “Today, drinking from this bowl, creates a union. Do you wish to officially join the Four Seas Order today?” She then offered the bowl to the trials. Each, one by one, drank from the bowl thoughtfully expressing their desire to join the family. Taking the bowl back she walked back up before smashing the bowl on the ground watching the trials jump in surprise as the glass pieces dashed across the floor. She expressed that the bowl represented what would happen to those who betrayed the Order. Finally she leaned over and blew out the incense watching as blue smoke rose through the room. You may now stand as Blue Koi of the Four Seas Order. Jae finished off by explaining that two other promotions were yet to come later that evening. And thus the first wave of recruitment passed and a new dawn for the Four Seas Order began.

    Four Seas Order

家庭 --- Charlie sat in the back of a cop cruiser, cuffed and awaiting transport over to Bolingbroke. Just another day in life, honestly. Usually the cops were quick about it shuttling you off to serve your time. But this time was painstakingly slow. The cops were taking their sweet time… as if trying to get information out of Charlie. Information about Triads, about her friends, about her family. “Only men of poor virtue turn their back on their family” This cop turned around to face Charlie. “Is this really what you call family? They are just sitting there letting you get arrested right now. They just use you for when you're needed, and when you're not, you’re tossed aside” The cop gestured to the Triads observing waiting to fully understand the situation, assessing whether it was the right moment to step in or not. Charlie looked around seeing almost 10 cops, there was no opportunity for intervention at this point. Charlie spat at the plexi-glass window separating her from the officer. “Don’t speak about what you don’t know. Family is everything.” --- Some months later Charlie found herself being asked to speak by Jae Fang. Charlie may have taken the Kwang name but she will always be a Fang at heart. She did not forget that day when she stood next to Jae and Joo that was sealed into her family history. So when Jae asked to speak about important matters it wasn’t a matter of if.. It was when. They holed up in a meeting room at Triad HQ and Jae explained that he had a proposition to offer. Charlie, as always, expressed that whatever it was he had her support. Jae shared his plan of extending the family. Starting a new group that would in part go back to our roots. Jae and Charlie reminisced to the older days when they were new trials with the Triads. Many faces had come and gone since then… but family remained. Jae asked her to come on board as his second in command. Charlie was conflicted… this would mean taking a step back from the family she had known for these many years and stepping out into something new. But at the same time Jae was her family too and she full heartedly supported his plan. After much talking she went and drove the streets of Little Seoul. The memories that poured out in that drive. She remembered on her first day of trial, Kai Fang (now Draco) had shown her the streets, told her the history, explained the importance of the many different landmarks. She left that drive resolved. She would come on board and help create this new group with Jae. She told Jae the news as soon as she got back and they got to planning. Soon they had a solid plan and started to look for who else to bring on board with them. Charlie had a few Triads in mind to have help advise as they had been there through thick and thin. She invited Prozacel Will, Brandon Fitz, and Donny Bruno to join them. They would serve as valuable members to help guide new faces in their ways as they had proven themselves time and time again as Triads. Then came word that another gang, Crimson Syndicate, in the city had disbanded. Triads had had a few interactions with this gang and had come to know a number of their members to be of value. Jae reached out that he had learned a number of their group had interest in joining the group. We all linked up to meet one another. Jae and Charlie took their time getting to know each individual…. Would they be good fits to join us? Would they be a good fit for the family. After interviewing the few that had passed through were invited to trial. And the new family began… They got started right away with training, building the treasury and building a presence. There is no telling where it will go from here but we will see. Family is Everything.
  9. How does a car not make sense? Most gangs roll around together it makes sense to have coordinating colors and even if it's not needed it certainly makes sense. Realistically if you moved to a new city and you noticed a large gang all in the same kind and color car would you really go get one if you werent a member of it? I always try to warn someone first if it's obvious they are new or not understanding what is going on. I only rob people if they are disrespectful. End of the day it's an IC issue.
  10. -1 IC issue. It's not Non-RP to protect my gangs colors by ensuring other people don't use it. It's a part of our RP and pride as a gang. What's the point in having gang colors if you don't protect it.
  11. Good luck! I have nothing but well thought out, well executed RP from you guys in every interaction I have had. I wish you all the luck in building this.
  12. I have to disagree. You don't need money for everything. You don't need to have XP or money to engage in quality rp and you don't need to be a female either. All you need is patience and creativity. I pour most of my rp time into a storyline that makes me 0.00 money. If anything it COSTS me money. I am a member of a large gang that I got into by creating ic connections and roleplaying for 6 months before I could get in. Having money or items was never a barrier to me pursuing rp directions I wanted to go in. The only barrier I have ever faced was my own patience and creativity. Again I affirm that yes there are lots of people here who are not here to rp and yes that gets frustrating. But I recommend just getting to know people in the city honestly. I knew my character was going to be a Crim character but I didn't get to just hop on the scene create/join a gang and have it be successful. I had MONTHS of building connections and just meeting people in the city. As I met people I was able to figure out who was there to rp and who wasn't and adjust my play to interact with those who were there to rp more and less to those who weren't.
  13. I am curious how exactly y'all think boosting economy would create more roleplay. The only thing that needs to happen to create more roleplay are for people to be willing to create and engage in roleplay. If your focused on winning through having money then boosting economy isn't going to change that. I have been on this server for over a year and I have never ONCE had more than 150k to my name. And I also have never once felt like my lack of money has effected my ability to roleplay. I understand the OP original argument of being bored but I think saying it's all due to money is ridiculous. There are those that are here to rob and shoot that's a matter of fact we have all met them. But there are those who are here to roleplay. Just need to step up and offer quality roleplay and you'll find the ones willing to offer it back. The only thing limiting people from starting gangs, doing RP, etc is the limits of their patience and creativity. If you want to start a gang, start an interesting rp storyline, go do it.
  14. I have played on this server for about a year now and I have played only crim (with a slight alt detour cadet for about a month) and I also really really hope that a Crim update can be prioritized. You can only grind the meager script options so much before you lose interest. I have personally attempted to pull together many non script based RP but it only goes so far. I can only have so many parties, so many restaurant openings, etc before it gets repetitive. If we aren't utilizing the script offered options it's Crim vs PD. Which is equally unrewarding when you have 20 mins of fun for 6+ hours sitting in prison with nothing to do. I'm not kidding if the lack of out of prison things to do don't make people wanna quit the prison sentences do. There are a multitude of things that could be improved upon to give a bone to Crim. And they need a bone - seriously. -Turfs -Portable Labs -Fix the import system (it doesn't work with 3 much less 5 official factions) -Address ridiculous prison sentences and charge stacking. But most of all I think alot of these frustrations would be alleviated if Crims felt like someone was actually listening to our frustrations. That someone was actually working on something ANYTHING to make us want to keep logging on.
  15. Why drags specifically? Why is this suggestion specifically aimed at drags? Should all bikes have lowered fuel as well?
  16. +1 this is concisely and exactly why.

    Heists

My only comment with this is that we don't need more things that are just mass PD vs Crim bait-ey opportunities. I would want to see avenues for RP beyond just oh the cops will show up we will shoot and then spend 6 hours in jail etc.

    Heists

+1 if it provides a bigger challenge than a store and some sort of skill checks and added to involvement possibly. Otherwise it's like just add more stores (which is not needed)
  19. Time is ever marching on - especially when it comes to being a Triad. As the days went on and on, less people were to be found at the labs, hitting stores, etc. This just meant that there was plenty of opportunity to continue hustling on. Charlie spent most of her time organizing cooks and hitting stores. When the nights got really boring she started to host parties in and around Los Santos. It was a simple and easy way to be entertained in the city when there weren't enough police or people in the city to make criminal work worth it. It was at this time that she got pretty close with a group of people, The Misfits. They were a cool group of people to hang with and whenever she needed backup all she needed to do was send one text and they would be on the way. This was helpful at those points in the night where there were not enough triads or zetas around as backup and random people or young gangsters needed a little reminder of their place in the city. Two Misfits in particular were always there when she needed, Brad Gordon and Donnie Bruno. Well times march on and it came about that Triads and Zetas found themselves at odds with Misfits and a number of other smaller gangs. This was uncomfortable to be against a group she had considered friends but the saying is true - blood runs thicker than water. As uncomfortable as it was she knew exactly where her heart and loyalty lied. She spoke to Brad and Donnie about the allegations and issues against Misfits and found that it was the actions of a few and not the whole that were complicating the situation. Shortly Misfits were officially disbanded. Although this was a sad day for Misfits she knew that she had to recruit those two who had always had her back to the family. But before she could those two had already spoken to Higher Ups and started a trial on their own. She was happy to have two close friends attempting to join the family. It seemed that though time marches on that it all turns out for good in the end. Another big change came to Charlie's life in this period. Chi had joined the Fang family months prior at the invitation of Lin Wong (nee Fang). Some months had passed since he had been deported from the city. Her brother Jae Fang had also left the city. For a good time it was just Kai, Joo, and Chi. She loved her family but for months she had found herself getting closer and closer to the Kwang family. There wasn't a member of both families that she wouldn't lie her life on the line for. When the invitation was extended she had some soul searching and thought about what she would do. After some thought and time she decided that she would join Li Kwang, and the other Kwangs as a member of the family. This is how she became known as Chi ' Charlie' Kwang.
  20. +1 absolutely needs to happen
  21. +1 to both The bigger picture is that Crim really needs an update but in the meantime these are NEEDED updates. Crim RP is becoming stale because it's a repeat cycle of what we know we can do without going to jail for ridiculous times. I know it's supposed to be realistic punishments and consequences to do but I'm sorry no matter how you look at it 5+ hours if prison is just ridiculous. Especially cause there is NOTHING to do in prison yet we punish for being afk where there is nothing.
