  4. 关系 (Growing Relations) --- Being a criminal in this city is a delicate dance of diplomacy. This usually translates to meetings, meetings, and more meetings. And SURPRISE! More meetings. Those who know the dance well prosper and those who stumble - fall. On this particular morning Charlie woke up to news that one of her men had been shot at by a member of the Irish. This put a sour taste in her mouth - It had been but a few mere weeks since herself, Dlugi, and Brandon had met to discuss a ceasefire between the two groups and to step forward leaving the bad as water under the bridge. What could this shooting mean? All manner of things - an end to peace, intentions to start back up war. It is easy to let one's mind run off with all the different possibilities but Dlugi Macshea of course put everyone’s minds to rest. “Most likely a misunderstanding let me call Stephen” Just like that the dance of diplomacy began. Before we knew it a meeting with Irish was set up. The probably cause of this shooting being that people had simply not known one another. So a meeting was set so that apologies could be offered, names could be shared, and High Commands could chat and get on the same page. The troops piled into their cars and headed over to the place where the meeting was set to happen. Once we arrived we all formed one large circle to exchange names so that everyone would know one another. It was a big hectic but after a bit everyone finally had one another's names. This would help in the future should any confusion arise. After the names were exchanged Dlugi had Floyd stand forward as he was the one who had been shot by the Irish Member. Stephen likewise had one of the parties at that event step forward and offer apologies. Both parties acknowledged the mistakes that led to that situation and were able to walk away from the discussion feeling better about it. Once that was handled the High Command stepped aside to discuss the going ons in the city and how each group was faring etc. Now that there was no threat or need for any escalation as the issue was handled the FSO was able to leave the meeting to go handle something equally important at the Shrine. Two members of the family were being promoted to important Roles. Sneeze was promoted to the Training Team and Purple Crane. Lyosha was promoted to Head Recruiter and Purple Crane. Two trials joined the family and then Tyler was promoted to Green Koi. Meetings over the FSO returned to their cars and back to Noodle where they would make their plans for the rest of the day. Irish and FSO may not always see eye to eye. They may even butt heads from time to time. But just like any group - the dance of diplomacy is important. For the preservation of your group, the wellbeing of its members, and the longevity of your history. FSO strives to maintain diplomatic relationships as they can - much over war or aggression. As long as groups operated outside of Little Seoul and did not mess with members of the family it was of little consequence to FSO regardless.
  5. This is the first I have heard about this. I specifically asked faction management about non-official gangs being allowed to submit war apps and was told ONLY official gangs could apply for war. Can this please be further confirmed by a member of faction management as it seems there is differing information out there regarding this.
  6. 尊重 (Respect) --- The family was checking labs when we got to Chiliad. While we were clearing the labs there was a man hiding in a bush who popped out and attempted to rob one of the family members, using a knife. He was quickly put under gunpoint and put on his knees. It was during this time that the family realized this was the same person who had disrespected and harassed one of our members earlier that day. After robbing him they brought him over to Charlie to tell her what he had done. The first thing he did was deny over and over again that he had done it. But Charlie had the word of 5 of her family members that this was the man. And when they shared that the guy had said to Ling Cheng earlier that day Charlie knew that a message had to be sent. So someone makes a mistake - okay, you own up to it and apologize and then you move on. But this man here couldn’t be bored to do so. He kept denying it over and over despite the fact that it was confirmed he had done it. No one could disrespect a member of the family without disrespecting the family as a whole. The boy’s wanted to throw him off the mountain but Charlie decided she would send him off with a stinging reminder instead. She gave him one last opportunity to fess up to his misstep but he chose not to take it. One by one she cut his dreads from his head. Dropping them onto the ground in front of him. She did not stop until his head was bald. Taking off her glove she spat into her palm and gave his bald head one firm slap. She leaned down to look into his eyes and told him to get out of there. She had hoped this memory would live with him for quite some time and prove to him that he needed to be careful who he spoke to with disrespect. And it seemed it had worked for about 10 minutes. Before they knew it the family found him back in the same bush attempting to attack them yet again this time with no weapon at his disposal. Four Seas Order is nothing if not true to their word. They send him on to meet his maker.
  7. This isn't about being sad or being happy. It's about balancing a game and the consequences on both sides of the line. The consequences already are enough in my opinion. And that is why I said this unneeded. Not because I am "sad" but because there are already enough consequences put in against criminal characters. If you think a gang is being too open you have IC avenues to address it so that they have to face those consequences (call the cops) Meanwhile also remember it is a game. Not everything has to make 100% realism sense. It is all about being realistic but also balancing it so that it is playable to all. If you want it to be so punishing to play a Crim that now it is not worth it then people will just stop playing Crim. And everyone forgets that if you had NO criminals in the server oh what a dull place it would be.
  8. 晴朗的天空,乌云密布 (from dark clouds, to clearer skies) --- The week started out with our weekly meeting in which we discussed the going ons in the city. This week was a pretty heavy discussion as we were discussing the fact that many of our allies now found themselves in conflict with each other - and what would we do about it? La Familia Michoacana had stepped in with Gangster Disciples in the conflict against the Triads. This was very trying for the member’s as we discussed how we would respond to this conflict. FSO had no skin in the fight but personal members of the gang all had stories of LFM members having their back as well as Triads helping them out too. It was heart wrenching. A vote was held to gauge the members opinions on where we would go from here. It was decided that we would remain neutral entirely. Charlie thought hard and decided to honor the gang's desires and announced that FSO would remain neutral during this conflict. They then discussed what we would be working on in the coming week. There was some sad news to announce. Tom Fitz and Drew Sanchez announced to the group that they would be leaving FSO to join other gangs in the city. This was followed shortly in the next day of 2 more members also leaving to join other gangs. This left a sour taste in most mouths, so many absences from what once were busy frequencies. Dark clouds came over the group for that evening as they licked their wounds, mourned their losses. The next morning and on however was for moving forward - Members are important to the family but not any one member can dictate the beginning or end of a family. While we acknowledged the losses we also came to terms with what needed to be done moving forward. The gang had our goals we had set out from the meeting and it was time to get to work on them. Recruitment interviews were going on and then after it was time to hit some stores. The gang successfully hit around 4 stores with absolutely no PD presence before some members had to head out of the city. Once we had gathered our earnings it was time to get that money laundered and into the treasury safely. For this FSO reached out to one of their biggest business partners and allies, the Los Santos Triads. We reached out to our contact within the Los Santos Triads and set up a meeting in order to get our earnings laundered. We were in luck and he was in town so we were able to make the trade and transaction happen fairly quickly. Travis guarded the entry to the alley to make sure no one was able to enter while we did our business deal with Mr. Shin. Business deals like this are one of the lifeblood for FSO. And striking many different contracts and deals with gangs throughout the city that help benefit both are something that FSO is always looking to pull off and participate in. After the money was laundered and safely deposited into the treasury Charlie headed back to Noodle to talk with some of the new trials. They shared a few bowls of (you guessed it) noodles while they discussed what was going on in the city. Charlie took a moment to be thankful for her family and those she had around her. She thought back on her busy day from running labs, chopping a few cars, and even having some time to hop on her BMX and do a few jumps. Life was good and although the week started out stormy - for now all she saw was clear skies.
  9. 游乐设施 Four Seas Order was looking to expand their influence throughout their immediate territory. There were far too many people coming through Little Seoul and FSO wanted to extend their knowledge and relationships with the people who lived there. They started doing patrols through the streets of Little Seoul to get to know the citizens better and to scout out any crime that may or may not be going on. This was mutually beneficial. Between these BMX patrols and fishing down by the pier FSO was able to gain intel on what was going on in the neighborhood. It was nice to see some life breathed into the skate park near the shrine. Little Seoul was feeling more and more like home every day. What started as just boolin led to hours and weeks of training at the skatepark. Each member of the so-called BMX Gang puts in hours to train and perfect the best trick jumps, flips, turns, even just riding the half pipe. In time this became a community and family activity over many weeks to relieve stress, create relationships etc. In fact it is during these escapades that we were able to make many connections with fellow BMXers in the city. Including some interested in racing which was helpful as FSO plans their next two large events. For now tho it is great moments relaxing at the park, doing tricks, and chatting with family members. A moment of calm before the city would explode into madness. https://streamable.com/q29dfb
  10. +1 from me. Everyday I drive by LSD and I am a little sad missing the old days of holding them down. I think personal Labs were a great addition. I just miss the static labs. I personally do not solo cook with personal Labs and I never will. I used to cook often at the static labs for many of the reasons that Rex pointed out. It was social. And I never complained when cops arrested me or when I lost a shootout. I don't understand the fact that shootouts happening at labs were a negative. It was a natural consequence of the illegal criminal activity. Just like cops coming in and arresting us was. Some of my favorite memories was back when I was trying to run a crew and our scout saw old Rooks coming in 3 Contenders deep and we had the panic RP to try and get one guy out with all the drugs we'd cooked over the last hour. Or solo cooking at LSD and always having to be careful to know who is or isn't coming. There was just so much richness to the RP that static labs offered. Again I think the solo labs are awesome and I know that so many criminals (myself included) are grateful for them. But I truly deep down in my heart miss them and the rich RP that resulted from them. And that's coming from my experience as a solo Crim, someone trying to run a gang, and as someone who was in an official faction. Also even from my experience playing a sherrif alt. There was just something for everyone
  11. 世界各地的 订购 (The Four Seas Order) The Four Seas Order (FSO) is an americanized translation of the organization's name which can more accurately be translated to “the order influencing all around the world”. FSO is an organization that has settled and is based out of Little Seoul, they operate on two fronts: the legal representation and the illegal handlings. Publically, FSO is known as a neighborhood organization that is filled with members of the Little Seoul neighborhood. They perform public works, put on community events, advocate for local businesses, and maintain a positive public image. Privately however, and to anyone with a questioning eye, their illegal activities are plain as day. There are many chapters across the world but the Los Santos branch was established early in the year by Jae Fang and Charlie Lau. Starting from two it has grown to a large organization including diverse members from all walks of life. Following the creation of FSO in Los Santos they moved into their headquarters at the Noodle House in Little Seoul from which they still operate to this day. The members selected for the Four Seas Order will only be of extreme quality, professionalism, and those who are willing to invest their lives into the success of the organization. For the Four Seas Order, reputation and image is everything. The Four Seas Order works heavily on rigorous training processes to work on the criminal skills of each member within the organization. We are undeniably Chinese and our main focus lies on protecting our territory and citizens within it from rampant crime. The specific rankings are tailored to each member and their strengths and inputs to the gang however there are five established orders within FSO. Members in this order are the people who head our businesses, events, and community projects. These are the face of the gang to our city and neighborhood. They bring any neighborhood concerns to the higher ups to be handled. Members in this order are the people who head our street operations. They are our foot soldiers, territory patrol-ers, general muscle of the order. They follow the leadership of our Cranes and Tigers. Members of this order are our leaders. They lead the Koi in operations, work on training members, recruitment, and overall watching over the well being, quality, and growth of the gang members and gang at whole. Members of this order are our directors, our lieutenants. They manage the direction that the gang moves in. Some lead the lead recruiters, lead trainer, and training & recruitment teams. Others manage orders and gang relations in the city. These are the go too leaders for the lower ranks in the gang. Members of this order are the orchestrators of the gang. They make sure all things are on the right track. They have proven themselves over time and effort to be of the utmost honor. The word of the dragon is to be followed at once and without question. Only those who have truly proven themselves will be invited to join the Order of the Dragon. FSO does not stick to any one place, like water, they do where they please. However, Little Seoul is well regarded as their territory and they put aside time to patrol them, party at noodle houses, or just vibe. They are as of present expanding into Strawberry territory to address overcrowding.. The current plans for FSO include, but are not limited to: Establish presence and power within Little Seoul and the surrounding areas. Establish influence upon the citizens of the Little Seoul neighborhood. Purchase the Noodle House in Little Seoul for opening a restaurant. Establish Noodle House as a regularly opened restaurant to the public. Build the organization's treasury to allow for the purchases of more properties in Little Seoul. Find and secure multiple locations of interest to expand operations to. Establish and Maintain diplomatic relationships with other organizations in the city. Secure a warehouse to store goods for the organization. Expand the organization’s reach outside of Little Seoul. You must have 50,000 XP on the character applying. Exceptions can be made for those that have high XP on alternate character. You must be in good standing with the community. Extensive admin logs or severe server punishments could be grounds for denial. You must be willing to learn or already have the ability to provide exceptional role play. You must be active before joining, and as a member of the faction. A minimum of 5 hours should be played on your character every week, with absences longer than 3 days being approved by a high command member.
  12. -1 to bullet point two. Bullet point two effectively renders MD useless in all shootout situations. If it is a PD vs Criminal shootout yes MD will be notified to come but if it is a shootout that doesn't involve LEO or anyone that will call MD then you are left to bleed out with no RP options whatsoever to save yourself.
  13. In a previous server update VOIP was restricted so that when you are injured you could only whisper. Using the text chat to /s is circumventing that script limitation. Therefore people shouting while injured are only contributing to the NRP of the shootout situations that may have led to this script change in the first place. When you are downed you should be role playing your injuries accurately and with what makes sense. Why would I be shouting locations while I have been shot multiple times? Has anyone seen a gang movie? people shot aren't calling locations. At most they do a quick "that way" and then go back to being concerned with their own GRAVE injuries. The reason I support the changes that I stated I support is because I support having role play avenues if you are injured (outside of shootouts). Just yesterday on my civilian character was ran over by a car near bank. I immediately called 911. Someone was nearby I asked for help - they refused and instead looted me with no roleplay and ran off. I laid there for 10-15 mins with absolutely 0 role play to bleed out because a MD unit never accepted my call. There has to be avenues left or created for players to not have to sit with 0 role play to just bleed out. If I am able to call a medic I should be within reason (and proper roleplay) be able to at least say "guy's I have been ran over by bank please come help" and then go back to roleplaying my injuries. I am in NO way supportive of increasing or supporting culture where people are shot 3-4 times and sit there giving call outs and telling people to grab their gun. That is totally unrealistic imo.
  14. I don't disagree with you and that is why I support Hoxton's previous suggestion of allowing radio use when your mode of injury does not include guns. In the case of a shootout there is no problem with not being able to use a radio. It is for those situations where you are alone and the non ability to use radio takes away all of your role play avenues where I feel it is appropriate to discuss tweaks to the already implemented system.
  15. +1 I really like this caveat here. This helps address NRP radio use in a shootout but gives you some avenue of RP for lets say desync clapping yourself on a bike. I have had many instances lately where my texts start getting spammed "help I ran into a pole next to Mors" I get there and find out the person in question has desynced into a pole. Doesn't make sense to me that can use a phone which takes more effort than lift my hand and press one button on my radio to say "help I am injured" (with proper RP of being injured of course). I agree that the most realistic thing would be to not be able to use either BUT then MD would be useless cause no one could call for MD help if they were injured alone. End of the day this is a game and play ability over realism at some points should be considered. I do agree tho that the NRP radio usage needed to be addressed and are happy that this attempt was made to curtail that. Sometimes things just need fine tuning to be perfect. I think the quoted suggestion could be a good one.
  16. I don't disagree with your statements for the most part but I do want to invite you to step in and involve yourself in some RP from the crim side with these "factions that have come up in the wake of those departures" before invalidating them without experiencing the RP they bring to offer to the server as a whole (other than PD interactions alone). --- End of the day these two factions receiving official do not affect current working factions from gaining official status in their own right. I understand everyone has diverse opinions and emotions about this in regards to their personal experience with the server as a whole - however I want to challenge everyone to see this, as I believe it was intended, as attempts for server growth and diversity on the criminal side. Something we have wanted to see for a long time At the end of the day we all want to see this server succeed and continue to grow and develop - that means sometimes you are going to try things and sometimes it wont make sense to everyone at the offset. You gotta have faith that we are all working towards the same goal and hang in to see how it works out. Things that work well only benefit us all - and things that do not can be adjusted to better serve the community - nothing is permanent unless it is stated to be so. Have faith in the good intentions.

    Four Seas Order

商业 (Business) --- Besides all the gang stuff day in and day out there is quite a bit that goes on behind the scenes in the week of FSO. There is a lot of business and diplomacy. This is where Chi gets to shine more than anywhere else. The week starts with Chi touching base with her higher ups and high command on their areas of control. Talking with Prozacel about our weekly orders to see what work needed to be done that week. He was more than capable of handling the administration of the orders. After a quick chat Chi moved on to meeting with her Purple Cranes: Simon (head of recruitment) and Dlugi (head of training). Discussing each trial in detail and going over recruitment needs and training that would go on during the following week. After that meeting its time for the gang meeting for the week. Two trials pass and there are some promotions around the room as well. A great time of celebration. After meeting it is time to get to work! Setting up at a lab is the best and quickest way to make some of the needed supplies for this week's order. Just because you’re working doesn't mean you can't have fun. After the lab it was off to the mines for a bit. But alas apparently mining is illegal these days… Oh wait that’s right … Chi is a bit of a speeder - guess she earned herself a reckless operation. In a totally appropriate use of force the officers charged the mines with their weapons out over a nonviolent felony. Oh well off to serve some time - not the first time and certainly not the last. At the end of the week all parties are ready to make the sale. Prozacel lead the transaction and the customer left with everything they needed and our treasury was a little more flush. All in a week of business for FSO. 外交 (Diplomacy) A week isn’t all about business however - there is lots of diplomacy and relations to look after. Whether it be keeping up with current allies and friends in the city. Or meeting up with up and coming gangs in the city to establish relations. Unfortunately not all relations come up positive. After attempting to bait a negative meeting at Noodle House and being ignored for about an hour, a few trouble makers decided to shoot their guns at the Noodle House. Cops caught up to these troublemakers quickly as they had called the cops there themselves to complain about our dance party on the roof. It was very interesting to watch them try to evade the cops moments later. It has been a pretty packed week but there is no where else Chi would rather be than right here with her family. She ended her week reading some fan mail someone had left in the parking lot for them. Ending the week her favorite way - with a smile. God Bless the haters - thanks for the free rent! “Haters are my favorite. I’ve built an empire with the bricks they’ve thrown at me. Keep on hating.” – C.M. Punk

    Four Seas Order

The best things come in threes. The first time Charlie met Donny was the night she threw a party on an island to hang out with some Misfit friends she had made over many months. At that party they enjoyed some drugs, some dancing and music, and even took some great shots with their shotguns and other guns. Unbeknownst to them across the sea on the mainland there were several detectives monitoring this group outing with binoculars. They were none too impressed with the heavy weaponry. Inevitably when the party was over Charlie, Donny, Trevor were in the same car and all of a sudden we looked behind us and there were two detectives in full pursuit. The megaphone rang out “pull over or lethal force will be used” It was up to Donny to get us out of there! And it went great. The cop rammed us off the road stalling us and then a shootout ensued. In the madness Trevor was injured so much he fell into a coma and had to take a trip to the hospital but Charlie and Donny took a nice trip to visit the lovely guards at DOC. From this misadventure on Charlie knew that she could trust these two. Over many months she also had many more memories with Trevor and Donny and many times trusted them with her life. They never let her down. When she made the move to start FSO with Jae, she knew which two people she immediately wanted with her. It was a time for new beginnings - but with beginnings also comes endings. Sadly all good things come to an end - so when Charlie received word that the Kwang family was coming to a close she knew that where she went from here was of great importance. She decided now was the time to choose who were those she could truly trust to not let her down. She knew just who to offer this family name to. And so the Lau Family came together.
  19. Best of luck in this new venture!
  20. Date and time (provide timezone): Ongoing/ Reoccuring Character name: Chi_Lau Issue/bug you are reporting: Drug Tables dissappearing and stashes being whiped clean despite doors and safes remaining locked. These incidents seem to be specifically linked to the new luxury apartments (Tinsel, Council Towers, Majestic). There is no indication of anyone accessing stashes or apartments in order to whipe them clean and tables simply dissappear in a matter of minutes or overnight. If the tables are not meant to be persistant upon restart or something like that then would be good to know! Expected behavior: Items stored or placed in new apartments remain where they were placed or stored. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: I specifically have not been affected by this bug but many members of my faction (and outside) of my faction have and therefore I welcome them adding any notes to this report that might be helpful to you guys in investigating it.
