Ever since he first arrived in Los Santos, Thomas had known that property would always be a good investment. It all started small with private rentals, first one property, then two, then three until he had to apply for further hosuing permits at the government. Deciding to go official, he applied for a business registration and license but was set back three months waiting for the new system to go live. As his company was finally approved, Thomas started working harder to get his properties out there and quickly grew into a successful business with his clients. When he heard of a new upstart corporation called Assured Services, branching into mayne different business, he reached out to their management team to introduce themselves, striking up a friendship that evolved into business with each other. But a year later, business was struggling due to many new competitors and private parties going around the business registry, advertising had become inefficient and clients became far and wide apart. Wanting to give his company the social media-approach and attempt advertising on LifeInvader, Thomas reached out to one of his contacts from Assured Services, James Hawkes, in terms of designing some banners and listings. James was up for the task, but also wanted to have a sit-down with him, Thomas and the CEO of Assured, Paulo. At the meeting, they talked about how to move on with the designs, but James quickly added something on top of that - a deal to join Assured Services as head of their property management branch. Pros and cons were talked about, but ultimately the deal was a benefit for them all, so Thomas accepted and was now a part of the Assured Services family.

@Deivis There is nothing wrong, if you're in two factions it will display hourly salary twice. So you're on duty as a taxi driver as your first faction, and your section faction is off duty. If you do /salary and scroll up in chat, it should say that you are on duty if you are.

Getting scammed at the bank for buying a car off market is just another small crime really, cause whomever's involved is not going to pay the tax required by the penal code, so just go to any of the markets.

Trucking needs a new overhaul, despite it having been updated twice in a short time. The first time was when we switched to 1.1 and sync caused issues with trucks not being able to grab trailers, so we were forced to use the same truck for all purposes, whether it be supplies, guns, fuel or cars. Now, with the depot moving to Paleto, there is no reason to do trucking. Having to go 12 kilometres after picking up a truck just to return to the city is for an order is going to break a system that was already broken, with hourly wages now brought down from maybe 6-8K on a good run to maybe 2K. I think the depot should either be moved back, or just have multiple depots in both Paleto and Los Santos, cause there's no justification for moving the RPly good spots for getting hauls at the docks in Los Santos to a spot inland that doesn't even compare in a small town without anywhere for freight ships to come in. I also think that AI orders should be added in like we had before the business-run orders came into effect, but only have them active when there are no real business orders available.

Nearly as long as he could remember, Will had been on the run. It all started when he and his twin sister got abandoned by their parents while they were still newborns, left alone in a rotten house in the northwest and found by the mistress of a foster home. During the years he were with those that should have been "family", he never felt at home. After 15 years, no longer a boy but not yet a man, Will made the choice and ran away, leaving it all behind. Sadly, that also meant his sister.. For 15 years, Will roamed the world, never settling, never finding a place to rest. He learned to survive on his own, working with whatever he could to make it through the day. He had made his way thorugh Europe and further east, running all kinds of jobs for different people. He got used to being a transporter, not caring what he was bringing, as long as he got paid. He got used to being on the road, alone and travelling, going whereever the order went and then finding his way from there. Some years later, now in the middle of his twenties, Will had somehow made his way as far east he could from America - Japan! He had made a living as a great transporter and his reputation had followed him, and he quickly started running merch for different organizations, running cars and weapons across the country, even as far as mainland China. After a handful of years, tiring of the non-stop running, still not feeling at home, he decided to return to his roots and the US to see if he could find a place of his own. Coming back to the states was something different than what he was used to. He didn't have any connections here, no real possessions. He was able to have his old contacts import a few of his things, amongst them his tuned Sultan Classic he had used on his runs, and a Nightblade he had built himself with spare parts from orders. After 15 years away, with no sense of belonging, he went to the one place he knew could be a new start - Los Santos, the city of opportunities. Going around the city, trying to find his place, it was hard to fit in. With the last 15 years of working for nothing but his own survival, it was hard to make new friends. But friends come when you least expect them. At least family does.. One day, during a trip to the beach and fishing to relax, humming an old tune from his childhood, someone, somehow, recognised it and hummed along. Both intrigued and seeming familiar to the other, the introduced themselves and Will was surprised beyond belief to learn that this was his twin sister, Cleo! They spent the next few weeks together, getting to know each other again after 15 years apart and going around town and making trouble like they used to. After a few months of soul-searching and driving around, he came upon a small trailer-park by a lake, similar to one he had lived in for a time in Eastern Europe. Needing a break he parked his bike, took out his fishing rod and went down to the shore for a time. After a while, he heard a few engines rumble and he saw a couple guys coming towards him, dressed in jeans and leather jackets. They noticed his bike nearby and started talking, turning out to be members of the Lost MC, residing in the trailer park. They talked for a while, and when offered, Will took the opportunity to hang around the club and make some new friends. The man, Hamish, took Will under his wing and showed him the ropes of the club, having him help out with shipments and merch as Will knew best. After a few days, Hamish decided to sponsor Will through the club and was allowed to bring him on as a prospect. Riding withe the club, helping out with the business gave Will a new purpose other than helping himself out, and he enjoyed it. Hopefully this new place will be able to be a home for the future.

Date and time (provide timezone): 05/FEB/2021 14:50 UTC+2 Character name: Thomas Pennyworth Issue/bug you are reporting: When you are in a truck (possibly other larger vehicles), you cannot go through the Paleto tunnel toll if in specific areas. Expected behavior: The toll should be accessible from any vehicle at any place near it. I found you have to be as far as possible from the actual booth to be able to use the command and get through. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Rent a truck from the yard and head through the tunnel. Be sitting in the middle or left side of the toll. Only works at the far right. Vehicle license plate number*: EBG551II

-1 for the exact reason Xoza mentioned. The only vehicles in the game realistically without a plate would be bicycles.

I say again. Hell no. This forces players to play all day everyday. I don’t want to be punished ICly by starvations because I have to go on vacation or don’t want to play for a week or two. Just taking a day off will have massive implications if we we’re dumb enough to implement this. Furthermore, there is no need for OOC enforcement of going to a restaurant or a store, people will do what they want. Think people should use it more? The fix it yourself ICly, advertise, promote, whatever. I don’t see any point why this should continue just because ingame time does. In that case, I want my gov bonus as well despite I’m offline, cause time goes on, right?

+1 Its also very hard to judge the dimensions of some of the items at times because of this.

No. Actually.. Hell no.

This has been suggested multiple times before, and the answer will again be: do it ICly. There's no need for a scripted job doing this, just make a business that does this.
-
Mmmm-no. There's no need for this, and if you're hired in a company you're required to work to the full extent, not just sit on your ass and do nothing for hours. This is a minor issue that is rarely an issue at all, but it should be dealt with ICly if it was. Just call 911 for a non-emergency and get someone to help you that way.

Was this a scripted truck from the truckers yard? If so, then 1) it despairs after a while of no use, and 2) you’re breaking a server rule by not using it for its intended purpose.
-
Yes, but 5 sports bags in another? No.
-
You can just make this business run by players ICly, no need for a script.

A FlatBed Tow Script for the Livery Mule with a Ramp.

Not true, the handbook state that we need to RP it and not to "snatch-and-grab". It does also state, however, that we can speed it up by using the integrated lift. Generally a good idea though, but would like to see some limitations as no 'mule-ing' in an NCZ to steal cars and such. -
It could be connected with specific features, like face shape, eye position, nose, or a combination of others, so that it would have to be a drastic change to toggle this.
