  1. A gun to my head... Not super exciting, but good example of how far I have come. I feel this is decent Civ RP as a victim. (a month ago I was so bad at this!!) See: Bad victim RP I still have an issue where I get so mad at these jerks IRL, I don't go all-in. I definitely could have used /me's and /do's to make it more realistic. Even if I don't think guys like this deserve the effort. It would be more fun for me, and anyone who watches these vids!!
  2. Stela won a Jetski from the Casino Raffle! DJ Dro helps get it painted, get it in the ocean, and we have a little party on the beach! Meeting new friends, making connections, having fun, and even some fishing. My kind of night!
  3. ATM Drifting - Just a short compilation of me driving the ATM truck.
  4. Yes I do agree with this. would be a nice little perk for doing those jobs. It has been suggested elsewhere as well.
  5. 1. Online Banking System - -1 A big part of the interaction/RP in the game is face-to-face interactions involving money, and being robbed at an atm also creates a lot of RP opportunity. Not completely against the idea strictly because it is realistic, but I do like the thrill of trying to make it to an atm or to pay a debt with 160k in my pocket..... 2. Judiciary System - +1 This I think should be an obvious addition. 3. A levelling system for every type of job, for example: -1 Don't think we need more ways to incentivize small crime. Plus there is no IC explanation for this. You cant get promoted or level up at a convenience store robber. It is straight forward and the cash you get is based on what's in the register. Maybe if there were IC explanations for the "levels", like you get better at cooking drugsg over time...but getting levels in it isn't very realistic. Makes it to GTA online/singleplayer. 4. The ability to craft small weapons such as Knives, Bats, Pistols and Ammo Carts in your own home (Or even add factories around the map you can buy to manufacture weaponry) - +1 but like you said, might be better uses of dev time. But it is a decent idea, and helps fill a need ICly 5. A way to customise or create your own clothing design (This would be a lot of work in game) - +1 same as above, would be cool, but probably not a priority. They could instead simply increase the variety of cloths in game, as I do not believe they are using all models/textures available. 6. Make a maximum scam limit on the game - such as $15,000? -1 Again, what would be the IC explanation? God will smite you if you scam 16k? I already think NCZs break RP often because its tough to justify an IC reason for them, although I understand they are needed. I don't think a scam limit is "needed". 7. Add the ability to get pets, -1 PLEASE no, I already find it silly half the server runs around with these giant ridiculous masks on 24/7. The game looks like a cartoon rpg sometimes. Adding pets, especially a lot of them and anything other than dogs will be too much. Plus they serve no purpose. As you said, just suggestions, so I appreciate your effort to think about it and type it up. These are just my opinion, nothing more. See you in-game!
  6. I would like to see it. (unless a staff can confirm) Not because I don't believe you, but because it was my plan to work towards buying a gas station. If this is true, I need to re-evaluate. Thanks.
  7. Yah someone said this in another thread, then someone was saying it was true for their regular pay. So figured people were mistaken. SO if this is correct and it is not double taxed (which I believe is the case)... -1
  8. Not gonna lie, I misses it a time or two also. And I just hate the afk math mechanic period. Can't it be something quick and easy? other reasons I hate it: Fishing - missing a fish because you are typing your answer and it dings. Taking taxi calls - trying to call in, lock the door, get the destination, mark the gps and this dumb afkmath is in your face. During your turn at poker - interacting with the type screen, the cursor jumps over the fold button when you exit out of it. Poker and fishing or standing around talking with people - constantly having to move your mouse or keep the chat open because if it closes you might miss the message. And just in general it breaks me out of RP anytime I am idle talking to people. All it needs to be is a random click on the screen, or just a very short script at least, like /afk # ( and why do we have to do math? the point is to just make it random. a random number from 1-99 would be exactly as effective) Anyway, done complaining, its really not that big a deal, just a bit annoying.
  9. Charlie Nightingale gets kidnapped for ransom in exchange for a friend of Bayview's. We go on the hunt for him and his stolen car. And once again, it is a gang member that comes to help, and not the police. Hopefully with a bit of luck, we can get him back and keep our ally safe too. (Fair warning: the end of the kidnapping I stayed outside in case Charlie got outside the site, or the kidnappers tried to escape. No video of the final rescue. Although there wasn't much to it anyway! Watch to learn what happened...)
  10. 6 Video shorts of a single day as a cab driver. This is why I like the cab job! Always something new!!! _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Massive Shootout Erupts - On the highway, a massive car chase and gunfight erupt right in front of me. Zeta Needs a Boot - As many times as Zetas have helped me, I couldn't say no when they needed my trunk for a few minutes... Chasing a Customers Car - A customers car passed as we were headed to it's GPS blip. So I helped him try to chase it down. A rude Customer - How I handle rude customers Specter for My Number? - Messing with a guy thinking he'll impress me with his "millions". Meeting an Irishman - Just a sample of how I interact with gang members I meet. To form allies and stay crime free at the same time.
  11. What kind of nonsense is that? So $100 bucks in profit is taxed 35% down to $65. Then taxed as income down to $42.50?????
  12. Explain?
  13. +1 Please do this! I would love to be able to communicate to customers. There are so many times I would use this, to say I broke down, had to take a priority call, I am up at paleto and will take it soon if someone else doesn't etc. etc. Can also use it when they walk to far and the call is canceled, to see if they still need a ride. I am sure I can think of a ton more reasons this would be great. Plus it makes sense...we RP that everyone is using an app, and we see their name already.... I have used the OOC PM a few times in extreme cases, but people don't like it, and get mad, so I stopped.
  14. Thanks for this. I assume money that comes in from a business (say a gas station) would be taxed income?
  15. I mean, if they gave every taxi driver in NY a gun just for being a cab driver.... For me ICly, no thanks, that just makes me a target for robberies. People know all cab drivers have on them is a radio, which keeps robberies to a minimum. No thanks to inserting a reason to rob me into my uniform. -1

  17. -1 As many stated, one person controlling the price isn't the way to fix it. If you sold all the properties at "reasonable" prices, it would just mean you get to control who gets a house and who doesn't, because we cant outbid each other. Doesn't solve anything except let you keep costs down for your allies. Best fix is to add more housing options, as stated above.
  18. Lazy entitled American here: -1 One of the appeals of this server is that it is NOT mostly Americans. Being born and raised in the US, and living here all my life (other than some time in the middle east), I rather enjoy engaging with so many unique people both IC and OOC. And let's be honest, a lot of the trash new player RPrs are American teenagers. If you don't believe, me, just log in after schools hours (3pm US) and watch the increase in New Player tags and nonsense, childish RP. And around 8-9pm US, they disappear (awww bedtime). Keep the server in Europe, and keep the population diverse. If America can do it better, than surely they can find the time/money to create a nice stable server in the US.
  19. You already have shady business in your company. And it is just an idea I threw out. No need to get mad about it. Just suggesting Civ factions would be a bit more interesting if their was an interaction between other factions outside of strictly doing that 1 job (taxi, mechanic, etc) and it would still be a choice of the civilian. If they didn't want to do it, no one is forcing them. And PS - I said the employees chop on the side, not Bayview. They have the skill and training to do it. Some of the best mechanics in the US work out of their home garages.
  20. Of course, I am all for CivRP improvements. The one comment I would make, and slightly disagree with you on, is I would like to see any development and improvement in CivRP to be focused on forcing interactions between civilians and police. Simply giving more for civilians to do, although would it be nice, doesn't really improve the quality of RP on the server, if civilians live in this little bubble, grinding away at a paycheck, with no interaction with anyone else. Here are just a few ideas I think would be fun, help CivRP, and also get The "cops" and "robbers" more involved with civilians: 1) A system where civilians are able to identify any criminal they are robbed/attacked by for an hour or so. Meaning cops would have a greater chance of catching said criminal, if the civilian reported it properly. (so OOC, a tag would be over that criminals head, once reported properly) 2) ATM trucks able to be hijacked/robbed. With an automatic alarm that does not shut off until police chase it down, or you can make it to a chop shop. 3) Civilians having greater access to guns, at least rifles (not ARs) and shotguns, that can then be sold to criminals, while also reducing access to import weapons. Forcing civilians to be an integral part of gun supply (and realistic, because Americans with permits can buy shotguns, pistols and rifles as much as they want) 4) The money laundering idea mentioned in another thread, with a way for civilians to be involved. 5) Remove LSC/Bayview/Weazel/DCC completely from being considered a government faction. None of those things are gov. controlled in the US, or most other countries as well. This would open up opportunities for mechanics, cab drivers, and the news to play to a darker side. This already happens with some employees, but is a bit weird when a mechanic is asked where a chop shop is, but they are technically a gov faction, and should report it to the cops. 5a) Mechanics can chop on the side (maybe at there house etc) for a reduced reward. 5b) Weazel can send fake news 5c) Cab drivers can help smuggle things in the trunk, known or unknown to them. 6) System to record license plates if close to a car for civilians. (with the camera angle its not always easy to see) This would have a similar icon given to all police if a proper report is files. I think this would make cops value citizen reports more, give some value to civilians caught in these situations, and increase the risk of crime against civilians. 7) To go along with the increased tools for civilians to report, a base amount of reward should be given if a crime against a civilian is pulled off. I would love to see robbing a civilian seen as a high-risk play, but you are rewarded well if you can do it. I think this would reduce the daily robberies by new players, but also increase the RP quality when it does happen. Lawyers and a courthouse...obviously. 9) Instead of fake labs and fake farmers at those lobs, require a civilian owner on hand at the farm to allow access, give markers, and supply chemicals. 10) Ultimately, although I doubt it will ever happen in Eclipse, I would love to see most of the money go into the city via civilians, then an economy of robbing, bank heists, ATM truck hijacking, guns, drugs, and most crime payoffs are derived from the civilian population. This would create a three-way environment, Civilians who make the money, Criminals who try to harvest the money, and police trying to stop them.

    Judicial Sytem

This really should be a priority. Tons of RP potential, plus it just makes sense. Many interactions could be created between nearly every faction and a courthouse. It seems like an obvious addition to Eclipse RP.

    Duo jobs

+1 ….As long as the option to go solo remains. I like vegging out in my ATM truck and cruising the city without having to worry about conversations and answering radios. Even though I am a Cab driver, I still find time to chill in the ATM truck. I wouldn't want to lose that exclusive time with myself.
  23. I see both sides of this argument. But I think by choosing to live a life of crime, you also have to accept that the police and the government will naturally do things to stop you from committing those crimes. I can understand, from a gamer perspective, it might seem unfair and unannounced, but I feel like this is more of an IC change. The government of Los Santos saw a massive upswing in crime, so decided to tighten their gun laws (sound familiar?). On the other hand, if you are deciding you want to live a crime-free life, and quit your gang, than I could understand wanting some way to clear you record and be able to purchase a gun for protection from criminals and your ex-gang. So the question for me would be, what IC reason do you have to make the changes you request? If it because you are actually giving up crime and your gang? Or is it because you are a criminal and in a gang, but want to try and avoid the cops this time, not get caught, and maintain your right to purchase a weapon? And, based on those answers, the government may consider some system to allow a criminal to clear their record (preferably with a time requirement etc) before accepting them back into life as a law-abiding citizen. Remember, there are some of us who have put as much time into avoiding crime and staying clean as others have robbing and stealing from innocent civilians. At some point, it would be nice if law-abiding citizens who have put significant time and effort into staying clean caught some sort of a break. So of course, ICly, I would completely disagree with your recommendation, and instead want even stricter gun laws.
