  1. just because you missed out on a great deal doesn't mean you'll find another one, but good luck
  2. I see no issue with adding more public labs, however the changes to private labs were perfect and should never be reverted. People are actually outside now in the world, and interacting.
  3. If the 6 cards also result in a draw, it will count the 7th as well.
  4. -1 this was one of the best changes in years, it repopulated the streets and added value to roleplay and diplomacy.
  5. It is absolutely tied in with the alarm but it is not because you will be caught at that store, it is because you will be caught at the next one. Prior to the automatic alarm, you could rob 4-5 stores before the cops were onto you and you had to stop; right now after robbing a single store, cops will be aware of your activity and you will need to stop.
  6. There are many people that enjoy doing house robberies as they are now. It is unfortunate if you were unlucky several times in a row, but at this point in time, it is not clear if that is a bug or an intended feature.
  7. This is a symptom of a problem, not a problem in of itself. Back in the days, if a cop was being disrespectful to the wrong person, the cop would die. The fact that people now find IAs to be the only recourse speaks to the options people feel they have to deal with cops ICly.
  8. There's a few players left that still have supers from when they were sold with credits; now they can't rent them out anymore after being able to for years? This is a very niche market and I do not believe it has any meaningful impact on the economy.
  9. All reports are handled on a case by case basis; while previous rulings can be used as a loose reference, they are not to be taken as "precedent"; roleplay scenarios are too dynamic for that. Instead, you should immerse yourself into your character and it's surroundings, and try to act in a way that makes sense for an average person to act. (i.e. average Joe not hardened navy seal).

    SOLD

But it's approved in-person by the Director of SAAA!
  11. Interior cooking should be disabled entirely and there should be an option to turn in your tables for import cost, similar to attachments. Public lab cooking promotes RP and activity.
  12. They did not miss the point. The changes are there because it's a video game; they are there for balance/economy reasons. If they do not make sense RPly, you will just need to suspend your disbelief.
  13. The thread is outstanding, look forward to seeing you in-game.
  14. I think the crowbar turns it from a crime of opportunity to a crime that you need to prepare for, as not many people go around with a crowbar.
  15. From mechanics to gang members, a lot of organized groups on the server have at one point used a speaker to play some music during down-time, and most of them have likely had it stolen with little to no roleplay because of it's relatively high value and extreme ease of picking up. I think we can all agree it would be way harder to steal a speaker from a group of people realistically, but besides the realism, this change is proposed in the spirit of making the game more fun, and increase social RP. I propose that in order to pick up a speaker put down by someone else, you will need to have a crowbar in your hands, and you will need to wait 15 to 30s in an animation (can be the same animation as ATM robbery).
  16. I like the idea but I believe it could be abused as in people just go around and break into cars for the weapons with no intention to chop them. I feel it would be better if the NPC had the chance to gift you a weapon when you sell the weapon parts, that way you are rewarded for doing the full activity instead of cheesing it.
  17. The fact that they're being used almost non-stop seems to be evidence to the contrary. If public labs were not profitable enough, no one would use them. They might not be as good as private labs, but nothing will ever be as good as printing money with zero risk in a private interior.
  18. Literally every way of making money criminally has been buffed substantially; even doing ATMs is worth it, maybe not for someone with millions from cooking, but for a new player? definitively. I do think that sometimes new players will run into heavy opposition at labs, and that is fairly good, but there's also times when I've seen newer players cook solo at Chilli and no one shows up for hours, and even then, they can drive off on a BF400 which is a cheap bike. I don't think it's as bleak as you paint it, on the contrary, there's so much money on the map, it's hard to stop people from making it.
  19. -1 If you are a criminal working a legal job, you need to at least pretend to be legal. If you're just a criminal cashing in 8k an hour, what's the point in doing crime?
