  1. Welcome to EclipseRP. Haven't met you in-game yet, but I approved your firearms license. Hopefully that can heighten your roleplay and bring about some more interesting videos. Love that one you released about the drug bust.
  2. Love the video, Ricky! Enjoy that firearms license, I'm sure an honest gent such as yourself will put it to good, proper use. Take care of yourself, Peace, Officer J. Reed
  3. +1 Support If we're going with the idea that LSD could increase health for example, then I think it should also have a downside, such as unsteady aim when using a weapon. This way you need to pick and choose which drug you want to use in a certain situation to best aid you.
  4. Was going to post this as an idea but already found this thread. Just posting here to bring attention to it again. A lot of the ideas in the main post are great and should be looked in to for future updates.
  5. The optional paperwork, as mentioned, is appreciated, but often times is overlooked or avoided because it can take a while. An arrest report is time consuming whereas a simple text box when placing a charge in-game to add a basic description of the situation/crime committed can be much more efficient to complete and also look up in the future.
  6. I feel the required option to fill in a description when charging a suspect with something would be beneficial to everyone. When processing things that pertain to criminal activity, we would be able to get a deeper look in to an individuals past if necessary rather than just seeing the often times vague charge name. I feel it could also benefit individuals who receive charges and may not necessarily know why they have received them which could help in them appealing through Internal Affairs reports. It could also add another level of roleplay for Department of Corrections, for example. When the Police Department or Sheriff's Department call in to DoC for an incoming prisoner, DoC could then look up the name provided and read over the record fully to get a better idea of who they have coming in, and maybe a general briefing of the team that will be handling said individual.
  7. Whether he hits them or avoids them, they did their job
  8. Even with my adjusted brightness settings, it gives me a headache. It's too much strain on the eyes and honestly, annoying to play with. It is my humble request that snow not be brought back this year. Let this poll be the community speaking for itself. Thank you.
  9. Your written English is great, if your spoken English is any similar, you'll have no problem communicating on the server through Text or VOIP. I always see the German based RP servers full of hundreds of players, so it's surprising when you say the communities themselves aren't as good as other language based communities. Welcome to the Eclipse Community! Enjoy your stay.
  10. No better place to make the best of a bad situation than the Internet! Welcome to the Eclipse community!
  11. Step 1: Buy her a PC Step 2: Get her to join here also Step 3: Marry in-game Step 4: ? Step 5: Profit In seriousness though, welcome. It's great here. See ya on the streets. Just no speeding!
  12. I think it's just a RageMP thing. Once I travel to certain busy areas it will seem to glitch/freeze for a split second then continue. I'm running a Intel i7-9800k with a GTX 1070Ti and 16GB of RAM, so my system definitely isn't the issue. I run a stable 120FPS but will drop occasionally and freeze, as mentioned, from time to time.
  13. +1 Support for both Hands up with /up command is voluntary for the most part, so restricting use of /radio or inventory functions makes sense. The player giving up and using /up is doing exactly that, giving up their ability to be in control of their possessions.
  14. -1 Support It would be too easy for someone to continue to deny the looting process if they don't want their items stolen. As has been mentioned, they should be fearing for their life more than their items. Yes it's annoying if someone runs up and just presses " i " to loot you, it's happened to me numerous times, but it's just how it is. Being as careful as possible to not get in a downed state is all you can do.
  15. That defeats the purpose though. The idea behind this is that it takes away the need of having to flood the main frequency with any and every bit of communication. If this /rvv command can't be put back, something else such as this needs to be put in.
  16. While this can apply to all radios, my post will mainly reflect the Police Department radio function. Brief Introduction to the idea A lot of police departments have text based communication and dispatching straight from their computers. While dispatch calls already come in through text, I believe it would be a good addition to introduce private VOIP and Text Based radio calls for officers to communicate with another officer. This will free up the main radio frequency for emergency and general Dispatch related communication. Proposed method of implementation I feel a simple command such as /pageradio ( /pr ) would suffice, functioning as /pr <USERNAME> or /pr <UserID> or perhaps even /pr <CALLSIGN> which of course would be government radio specific. Using such command would initiate a call to come through to the recipient much like a regular phone call. They can /pageaccept ( /pa ) or /pagedeny ( /pd ) which would return the corresponding message to the sender. If accepted, both parties can then use /r or "M" key to communicate over the radio as they normally would. Only difference now, of course, is that only those 2 individuals can hear each others conversation over radio. If implemented, I would highly suggest that normal incoming radio transmissions from others on the frequency should resume and not be blocked, as this will allow emergency radio calls to go unmissed during a private radio call. Conclusion I feel this is a fair implementation that would allow not only the police department to function a little more efficiently, but also applies to anyone with a radio running on a popular frequency. Currently, radio volume varies based on microphone quality and volume settings and I find it difficult to filter out the radio when VOIP chatting with people while "Officer 1 to Officer 2, how copy?" is constantly streaming over VOIP radio. Thank you for your consideration. Please provide constructive feedback.
  17. +1 Support This and your other topic can be condensed all in to one. Any action should be able to be quickly cancelled by hitting ESC or another key that is supported by the game script.
  18. Ay Rickyyyyy B! Welcome to EclipseRP. See ya in the streets, hopefully not for the wrong reasons.
  19. +1 Support Command used to be /rvv (Radio Voice Volume) and it worked great. I would love to see it reintroduced.
  20. Haha. "Never actually been on the police teamspeak but here's the facts about it" is basically what you just said. Congratz.

I doubt car manufacturers would go after a, relatively speaking, small community such as ours, but that doesn't exclude the fact that they could. Those car models are actual brands which are not licensed to be used. If the community were to use these models in the game that they make money off of, that could cause a huge legal problem. Even if the manufacturer logos and brands were taken off, they're still modeled exactly the same as the real thing. The best option is to just use them on your own terms.
