I would just have it ping its location quicker. No need for the tracker to last longer

I think the time before a new lab opens should just be significantly shortened. Would be the easiest first thing to try. (as someone who is probably a 60% LEO to 40% crim player I think maybe it should just be an hour then the next lab opens if not less)

Could also add an NPC at U-tool as it would kinda make sense for it to be sold there.

Honestly, let mechanics sell them kind of like how MD sells you methadone

I don't really see an issue with it as long as weight stays the same +1

Weapon Workbench (for repairing fully decayed weapons)
Cup replied to Cup's topic in Criminal Suggestions
Just to be clear on this. My original intent or idea behind it is for it to mainly be used for expensive / rare guns. I think it should be somewhat balanced so that for example it makes no sense to repair .50s over just buying new ones. -
This might honestly be the best solution. Make guns heavier so they dont just magically fit in gloveboxes but still show on your back in a car. HOWEVER you can have them in a bag on you in the vehicle and pull them out of the bag . Have a timer on searching the bag maybe so you cant magically pop out an AK and would have the /ames over your head or some animation showing you fiddling with the bag edit* This same system could be used to maybe implement a "gun rack" into LEO cruisers so we aren't always carrying heavies on our back however this would require more changes due to weapons being locked to LEOS and needing to access the FL menu.

Remove combat MG mk2's and carbine mk2's / nerf them

I tend to lean more towards this direction because i think the faster they are gone the better for everyone. ( i would like to add I am viewing this from the perspective of both LEO and crim as i am in SD and rooks) -

There are restrictions on it and they are ICLY limited -

Honestly i would be all for all MK II guns being removed (minus the pistols/revolvers) but i think that ship sailed as i believe skins for them are sold in the f6 menu. -

The only issue i forsee with "refunds" is people would still be losing money. Unless the only ones you had you took after fights or you were lucky enough to buy them "Tax" free. But overall i agree that the gun is overkill and unnecessary -
Hello! So while I understand the new decay system is fresh and we still aren't 100% sure how its going to play out it did give me an idea for something I think would be cool. A Weapon workbench that gangs could import that would be expensive (think 150-250k range) that would allow you to repair a fully decayed gun back to a working percentage. (not sure if it should fully repair it but at least make the weapon functional again and to a point you can use the other method to get its percentage up again). I think it should be placeable in a property and maybe you would need to gather some mining resources in order to repair a weapon. (Or some other system as I think it should still have some cost to using it to discourage people from just letting their guns all break then using the bench. The bench should just be available as a last resort if a weapon that is valuable to you breaks). Oh and finally, it should be considered illegal so if the property you have it at gets raided it gets snatched.

Personally I think doubling the payout for every criminal activity not involving drugs (atms, stores, banks so on) would actually do a lot to curb some of these issues just by itself. Currently the risk vs reward for these activities (minus banks maybe) is just not worth it to most people which funnels people towards labs. Labs by their nature are bound to eventually become hostile but the payouts possible make the risks far more worth it. Labs by their nature encourage people to bring out their bigger guns and armor which in turn encourages Leos to bring out the bigger guns and armor when they respond. Rinse and repeat.

This conversation is very rapidly getting off track please keep it on topic

Even if you only had like 3 options for male and female just having a few options for everyone would be nice. Like a simple one for male characters would just be to have no shirt on so just the orange pants.

While i am neutral on the subject i think one thing people vastly overestimate is how many people actually RESPOND to pagers when they are hit.
