Ah, I will be honest then, I thought the same rules for Player Cars applied to NPC cars as well. My mistake.

The more "expensive" or high performance of a vehicle, the harder it is to get into. 50 clicks doesn't exist on a Scout, Jugular, Paragon R, Drag, Shinobi. Issi Sport is a little slower, but still faster than 50 clicks, sitting at 45 clicks. There is a varying level of speed depending on the vehicle. Like the first bar to click on a Jugular is about half the green zone of a 45 or 50 click, and the speed is at least 30-50% faster than the aforementioned. That is, unless I'm misunderstanding the mechanic you're referring to.

I know of one bank that does, the one in this game. It's basically a tax of negating to carry around cash to pay someone. It's a tax for a method to hassle free pay someone. Sure it kind of sucks, but your alternative is to carry it around, which could be a high risk. Doing a wire transfer is zero risk. I'm personally fine with the 5% tax.

I think the reason being, fake or not, is the amount of LEO resources a single bomb threat requires. A couple of weeks back, on night-shift when LEO population is low, we had something like 2 in PD juro, and 2 in SD juro, and not enough appropriately trained LEO's to respond to them. They were 2 active at the same time, with 2 more active a minute after the others were concluded. It's something I think should require admin approval as we would be denying RP ops for people who want to do this, due to not being able to actually respond with the appropriate forces and trained individuals.

This is exactly why it was removed. There was no way to moderate the messaging platform without development time needed for it per convos I read.

This is something that would have to be pursued first. Maybe get some insight on how IA in PD/SD works as well. I can tell you that the basis of these claims are inaccurate. Punishments are handed out based on the conclusion of IA reports.

+1/-1 There are a few things that need to be adjusted and tested first to see if they help with the issue. Right now, LEO's do not know which impound lot the bell is being rang at. Secondly, during low times, it's hard to get LEO over there when we get multiple 911 calls of someones grandmother being lost, or heavy weapon or rapid weapon fire calls. Other times, it's just there aren't enough LEO's on shift. Automating it would be nice for all individuals, civs and crims, as you'd get your car on-demand, however I could see some potential development issues: Is your license suspended? Nope, great next check. Do you have citations that are over 7 days, or 189 hours to the dot old? Yeah? Can't release it. No, next check Are you wanted? Yes, great, have a nice day. No, next check How many cars do you have impounded? 1, great we can release it. More than 1? That'll be problematic as there are only so many spawn points at impound. Take in account this is automated, and someone has 2 cars impounded. They can only drive 1 car at a time, most of the times people just end up leaving their car there, cuz now they have it Now times this by the number of people that need their cars, and we run into a new issue, no more spots to bring a vehicle from impound Next suggestion would be, allow it to be parked at X. That takes more development time now This all seems like it's just "super easy" or "requires no real big development", but there are things that need to be done and checked which is why it's not automated. You can just suggest that "it doesn't matter if your license isn't suspended", but then you run into people saying "Well the impound released it, so I didn't know it was suspended" causing a triage of LEO interaction nightmares.

So here's the thing. We RP as cops, and I am willing to bet the vast majority are NOT real life cops, lawyers, or other members who work with real world law. The role that ECRP's PD/SD plays is vastly different from real world. As Requiem pointed out, LEO are judge, jury and executioner. Meaning, you are going to prison without trial or bail. You are serving your time, and you can appeal it after your time is served. You may win the court battle, which can take days, weeks or months, or you can lose it. However, time moves on. Should it be removed from Civ's? Fuck no. He said, she said statements are never worth the time that it takes to throughly investigate crimes, 90% of the time people don't have the patience or go into /b to say they need to log out in 5 minutes, and you can only RP so much reading into someone's body language, or facial structures. You can't get into the full investigative nature. With LEO's using it, or setting it as "dash cam" would also just be bad, as then we'd run into an instance of arguing the FOV of the cameras angle. Also Police around the world wear body cameras. This should still be utilized. It just speeds up the super fast pace nature of the server.

+1 I agree with this 100%. I've had food spoil so much quicker than it needs to, and there's no real way to preserve them any further. I like the design and layout and this makes total sense.

Yup, tried it with Chunder about. She was able to fire the gun no issues, I was unable to.

GTA 5 does not support private servers on consoles. It is PC only.

So, yes we have the car wash, which is great, but I'm not sure if it is a game limitation, or if there is a way to override how long it takes for a car to start getting dirty. Personally, I don't mind spending $1,000 to wash my car, but I would love it if it took like at least twice the time before it starts collecting grime from normal road use.

Why should this be an OOC issue? You commit a crime in the city that has a Judicial Branch, an overseeing Government, and LEO. Why wouldn't they handle this at that level, but instead break the 4th wall by having it tied to more server rules and a server penal code, instead of an IC Penal code and IC review system?

When I'm on duty, it is more common to have a single person in a cruiser compared to 2. AIR isn't an issue in here tho. There are rules and regulations for how AIR is used, and what it's able to do. I think there's just an overfocus on AIR being OP or unrealistic. It wouldn't be in real life. Store Robbery is used for entry, but can also be used for seasoned. Anyone can do it, and people in Warreners have gotten away before Police arrive on scene. So it's not a "must have a BF or fast car" type of job.

Here's the thing. We don't always know what 911 calls we are responding to are going to turn into. Scenario: LEO are getting intermittent calls of a group of 4 robbing stores. We can tell they have heavy weapons on their backs while they are doing this. They've been chain robbing stores for the last hour. We get lucky and a call is placed right around the corner from 2 units. They call in for backup, and 3-5 more units appear to help with the situation, as it could turn into a shootout. Come to find out, that it's actually just 2 people with a Pistol. -- Is this an over the top response? In my opinion, no. Will people get cleared from scene, yes. The reason it's not an over the top response is, we don't know how many or what sort of criminals we are dealing with at these stores. LEO's are reactive.
