I do agree to an extent but the gear despawns after 6 hours, it’s annoying getting your gear back when it does eventually despawn but the only situations it will do this is if you’re going on faction duty later in the day or working 6 hours straight If you’re losing your radio you can just buy one from the store, I’m not too sure what RP your SD character engages in outside of SD, but I’m sure you can afford one I do hope that script that it was initially added for gets worked on more in the upcoming updates though

  6. Removing factions is just not it. How would you feel if someone suggested removing your faction that you worked hard to get implemented and supported by script work? I can personally say a lot of effort went into getting both of these factions where they are today, from the current and previous leads all the way down to the members. I don’t really understand the point of the suggestion either. If the goal is to make the server more playable and RP focused, why suggest removing parts of the game that actually create RP? That feels completely backwards. It doesn’t make things more playable, it just removes gameplay altogether.

  12. +1 How I think this should go down script wise is: You go to a mechanic criminal NPC and speak to him He will offer you the job, it will be unrestricted from being faction F4, as in everybody can do this; but factions will be awarded influence for doing the job The mechanic will spawn in a specific vehicle and tell you where the vehicle is, and say he’d want you to steal it and take it to a garage or to him You go to the vehicle and steal it, and deliver it After you deliver it you get paid, and the pay will depend on the vehicle, IE: higher tier cars pay more etc Maybe the more criminal or burglary XP you earn the higher chance for a high tier car

  14. My main issue, and something I’ve been noticing a lot, is that we’ve got gang detectives acting like actual criminals. They’re rolling around shirtless with t-shirt masks in common criminal cars, yelling stuff like "shit gang shit gang" after winning shootouts, and spamming /trace off a macro with zero RP behind it, and nothing ever happens to them for it. This is part of why people aren't having fun right now. The ones who are supposed to be upholding the law are acting just as bad as the criminals, and it ruins the experience when it keeps getting brushed off.
  15. -1 I get the idea behind it but there's some situations where it becomes impossible to relay something to a large amount of people through just PMs, staff sits would be a giant PITA to gather information or communicate, I do think we could (and should) be more strict about the usage of /b, as at the end of the day should be only used whenever absolutely necessary, instead of discussing whatever TV show or movie you recently watched, as it can be disruptive to others RP.
  16. This. I think the expectation of going away scott free would be unreasonable from a long time crim player and an off and on LEO player. I think maybe negotiating a pursuit where they won’t immediately shoot or take your tires would be fine or something along those lines
  17. We know just as much as you guys when it comes to new stuff, when there is new content added we rarely get filled in on anything and if we have a question about something we usually have to reach out to the devs in order to help other players

  19. Add a civilian variant with no flight or weapons of the Deluxo (the DeLorean), I think a lot of people would love to drive the car. I’d drive this car a lot.

  21. I think if 2 factions are alliances with each other they should be able to fight with each other. If it’s suspected they don’t have much of an IC reason to be allied FM can step in and make them no longer allianced
  22. I don’t think the AP is that much of an issue, you’re not supposed to win against cops by design and they are meant to have the better gear. There’s ways to win fights against them by using coordination and simply choosing your fights to take. I’ve seen gangs wipe kitted out SED and METRO when they used to have 200AP.
  23. This would inflate the economy worse than it already is, most cook and hold until they have 250 or 500 (forgot which one equals to 50 vol) and sell in one batch, and would just get a giant lump sum in one go

  25. Demands alone hold very little weight. A visible threat should also be present, shouting demands from a bush from far away isn’t enough
