The salary in the banking app won't update if it is left open. If you close and re-open the app, the salary will update, furthermore, if the bank app is closed while salary is accrued the app will update. I just tested and confirmed this. This was today. I could not replicate the pet freezing and causing damage to the vehicle. Also, when I drove off the pet stayed in the spawn position.
