  2. It's going to take a few experiments and explosions for the spilling once it's in effect which is a bad loss margin. I'd also like to see a reintroduction to the refilling in properties system officially instead of it being considered a bug that got removed, regardless of people who had sinks in their property for good rp. The furniture store sink items could have a 'Refill Water Bottle' WI (for the radius, and the one in inventory would be for natural sources). Each bottle would take 0.5s to refill, so 25 (50 vol.) would take 12.5s. That can later be added into the properties taxing for running water in a property. The same would work with the refilling in inventory system. I generally think that would balance the system even more whether the spill heating stays or not because it's hard to be refilling water bottles with over-volume in your inventory/crate such as holding 1000 vol. worth of bottles in your inventory due to the inventory system allowing it to fully maximize. This is a small thing to work on that is beneficial for everyone and balanced instead of the insta-refill feature.
  3. Greetings, Eclipse Community! I’ve created this thread to discuss the latest patch which was applied on the 14th of November. My own experience has shown me there is absolutely no justification for changing it. After testing, the system revealed itself to be extremely unstable and pointless. Utilizing private drug labs no longer seems convenient. The goal of this is to transfer players to public drug labs and is completely understandable, but I think there’s more to cooking than most people think. However, with that recent change, cooking in a private lab has become totally useless and all the money a player have spent on a big lab goes the same way. The Good: The spilling is a realistic way to replicate a real life phenomenon–the spilling of chemicals once you throw in the combination. It’s another task to do while cooking, so it's not as easy. It also gives you another thing to do instead of being afk to only pour water every now and then. The Bad: The script is broken, ; Once you successfully clean the spill of a drug table, a whole different group of tables gets cleaned as well or its spill randomly vanishes. The action timers when a cook is in-operation of a big lab makes it difficult to handle, hence a huge loss to those who own big labs. Once the change is in effect, on the 17th, people will only be able to cook on 10 tables at most. As NBDY stated, when a table is under the spill effect, it’ll go warmer. Cooking ticks of having to pour water every 4 minutes is too low for you to do two tasks at once. Solutions: (please try to add your solutions or adjust to mine and be constructive) First of all, fix this bug as I believe it is part of the mess: https://forum.eclipse-rp.net/topic/113516-ui-drug-table-shifting-options-at-the-end-of-cook/ Revert back to the old system. Make the spill ticks significantly low and let spills only happen after the cook is finished and that it doesn’t affect the heating of the table, however, for every spill tick, it adds up one action timer tick. So, if one spill happens and another and another (3), you have to do the action timer 3 times, and in the end, you can’t add more chemicals to a table for the new cook in the future if the table is spilled so you would only have to clean up after finishing cooking.
  4. Please fix. When someone enters the property while cooking and you have something else other than the first option selected, it resets to the first one. It never happened before until the patch released close to the timeframe of when this thread was made.

  6. +1 Maybe a whole new set of names for the fitting animations under the category "Sit" to change it upon sitting > /SetSitAnim Sit(1-20) to adjust which default sitting animation you wish to have.
  7. I believe there should be a server-owned-dealership that auctions 3 randomized 'special vehicles' every month and get rid of the auctioned vehicles on forums. These vehicles will have a base price that is set by admins, in which that base price will vary depending how many of these vehicles are player owned. For example, the Emerus (this is just an example, it could go for the Tractor, Dinka Go Go Monkey Blista, etc.). It's set base price could be 40 mil. Let's say 8 players own it? The price will go down by 8*2.5%, that makes it go for 32 mil. If the percentage reaches 50%, the price can't go any lower than the base price [-] the 50%.
  8. I believe the values I have suggested for the volume were too much. I've adjusted it to 1,500-2,500. Hauling is so bad with 500 vol., hiring people to help you haul is even worse as its pricey especially when you've got to do it multiple times a day, not to forget about the shit truck speed and how nerfing low grips deeply affected their speed. Starting hauling companies/factions always fail as well, so I don't see why not increase the trucks volumes and adjust prices? We don't even have the newly added trucks by Rockstar in the server... I mean, if the volume is going to be 500, the trucks speed should increase by 25 or 30 percent. That's 250 fish to fill a truck with 500 vol. and it takes 8 hours to do it (done it) and gives you a payout of like 50k, practically the same for any other job as there's a replenish timer on work actions. More time spent on the server = better cash payout. My character does personal hauls a lot and I find it extremely bad that trucks only have 500, but Burgershot has a fridge with 4,000 vol. And how many slots in the fridge? 50?

  11. The server's existing trucks should have a much bigger volume than 500. A small-regular car has 150 vol. A bigger-regular car has 200 vol. A truck has 500 vol. Obviously bikes, sports and supers are out of the box. This is only used to compare sizes. Trucks have trailers which should fit in 4-6 (not sure) cars, stacked behind and on-top of each other inside the truck's trailer. Now, that is only just the cars which includes the trunk as well as the car's entire body/skeleton. I believe trucks should have varied storage sizes ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 with viable prices based on their performance and storage. Fun Fact:

  13. I've spent over 800k on plastic surgeries, unaware of that bug until I finally realized the appearance system is broken. Plastic surgery should be free or cost very much less than it is now (5k?) until this is fixed.
  14. It's not the color, its the opacity, non-existent shadows and no contrast to help you distinguish the bar's location, changing the color won't make any difference. I believe this is a similar issue to when we had bad text shape and layering of the vehicle stats when they weather was snowy. It's hard to use quick action when the weather is bright. I don't understand why the background is transparent.

    I will have to say this with regret, but it's really the truth: Don't do crime, or do it with a brain. Stop provoking cops for fun. That's what I have been doing for over 3 months and I don't expect getting caught any time soon. You're saying PD/SD are op? I partially agree with you because at times, it's actually your fault. So what do we do about that? Kill their faction like how they are killing our playtime entertainment, have them do nothing and not enjoy their shift. Why even go to drug labs when they are so shit, especially Braddock's? One shot and the SD neighbor sitting on the side calls all units and goes inside. Or even worse, a cop with the guts to go all the way up next to Chilli to hear shots, lol. And that's fine? If cops aren't the case, people go there to play a good shooter game. Anyway, that's really how I see anything is going to change when their faction dies and has nothing to do and people aren't getting arrested.
  16. Man, no one is going to go to the pier when you're asking them to over the forums. Pierr is dead because people are clearly more focused on farming money rather than communicating or interacting, not to mention how starter criminals would DM, rob and fuck around there. The pier was already dying even before Burgershot's arrival because it sucks and had so many negative side effects. I can't even imagine how much begging the players had to make on the government website to allow people to park their vehicles inside without having it towed. Pier was so fucking bad. The shitty 'I WILL NEVER TAKE MY MASK OFF NO MATTER WHAT' mentality is also part of it. Also, sometimes groups/factions host events at the pier which gets it crowded at it's moment, so keep an eye out for it. I believe the only way people's gonna get back on the pier is by updates. The games behind like the ferris wheel would be neat if activated, somehow. And the fast-food booths inside. The pier is nothing like Santa Monica's pier.

This is a roleplay server bro, you're not allowed to use any mods or even remove shadows even if many popular games gives you the ability to remove shadows, already integrated in the settings such as League of Legends, Minecraft, Dota 2, Fortnite, Overwatch, Roblox, etc. This is not SAMP where you could throw in a bunch of mods into CLEO's directory or .ASI plugins or use TXD Workshop/Alci Img Editor to replace textures... This is Eclipse rp the roleplay server on rage multiplayer, the one and only, and mods no matter what they are will not be tolerated! So... -1

  19. I think it would be better if it had a menu of its own like the one for Dealerships/Stores. A clean menu with a white background and neat font, accompanied by pictures. First tab, SEND ORDER: (in the same menu) Player ID text box; a box to put in the ID of the player the offer goes to. A title with the item name, where items would be listed vertically; Burger, Hotdog, Taco, Submarine, Soda, Water and Coffee. A title with the quantity, where you would be able to input the requested quantity into a text box, coated with a (+) for increasing qty. and (-) for decreasing qty. buttons. A live view of the amount that has to be paid at the menu's corner. A cancel order button; to cancel the order. The receiver has to be within close range in order to receive the order. Second tab, DELIVER ORDER: (in the same menu) A title with the customer name, where names would be listed vertically. A title of their order, where the orders would be listed vertically opposing to the player name: x2 Taco, x1 Water, etc. As for the ''customer side, the View Orders button should be removed due to the fact you can view your own order/receipt information from the inventory by checking the ticket. The player has no business to know who ordered what and shouldn't be accessible to everyone.
  20. +1 An innovative way to gather people around together towards a multi-purpose rp window. I believe reducing the prices of the mall markets compared to other stores/restaurants which is already offered to players would be neat too so it doesn't end up being an empty space in the server and live longer over the years.

Right now, when mechanics work on a vehicle and finishes working on it, the customer receives the following message in the chat-box: [SUCCESS] You have paid $[Payment] for the mechanics services! What I am suggesting is the removal of this message for the customer. It doesn't serve any purpose other than making customers rush back to their vehicles and in some cases, drive off. Mechanics should be the side to inform the customer of whether their vehicle is ready or not to boost player-to-player interactions, not a automated message (obviously they don't have timers on their phone to determine how long the repair would take). Customer also already knows how much they pay for from the initial invoice. [TL;DR] Remove the message for customer, its only problematic and creates less player-to-player interaction/communication.
