ill keep it short and sweet, REMOVE DOC, or atleast cap it at an hour long jail time, why am i spending 3 hours of my free time in ur city in a place where 95% including guards are AFK? why am i stuck in a box where all i can do is pick mine and wash, there is zero RP rarely AltRP and its just a huge time waster remove it change it just stop making us lose our fun in the city for the sake of a guard who will "lock down" when any fun crime rp is done

here's other more constructive ways to make doc more fun for inmates off the top of my dome:

add script for cooking in the kitchen

add a script way to smuggle small items (drugs, switchblade, lockpicks) - special inventory slot for it and when you're /frisked there's a X percent chance of it being found

personal stash inventories beneath beds that guards wouldnt rply know about unless caught or snitched

super rare spawn items that an inmate can spend say 5 minutes "crafting" into a weapon like shiv

some fitness related skill you can xp in prison gym

automated prison break system - sometimes picking trash can rarely give you a special item like nailfile or lockpicks that allow a single inmate to make a hole in the fence that teleports them to the other side still in inmate outfit and says something like "alarms have been sounded, you don't think it's worth the risk to try escape" for other inmates trying to get through and 

be constructive and don't be boring by saying get rid of it or cap it more

But DOC do be needing some changes it is a death sentence for any RP during a session, if you get sentenced during hours where DOC is void of any player interaction.

+1 the time needs to be adjusted a lot. Nothing you add to doc will make people want to go there for 3 hours. We get on to rp and play with friends we have made through the server, not sit in a virtual prison for 3 hours for the littlest things. I just got arrested for wearing a mask and tampering with evidence for speaking on radio after being told to put my hands up for a mask and now I get to sit in prison with no one for a hour by myself instead of being out there actively rping. I agree with the main post and ash. I think the time should be lowered for all charges and I think there should be more things to do in prison to improve the overall prison rp and stop the afking.

Sounds like you should have followed orders from the officer and not worn a mask then my guy. Choices have consequences. As for DOC time, its already been reduced about 3 times now, whether through the IC laws and the jail time associated with them or the maximum time caps put on jail time with the script. No reason to lower DOC times any further. If you really don't want to spend the full time in DOC, you can log out and your jail time will go down and you only have to serve the last hour of your sentence ICly in prison. 

I do agree however that DOC needs some love with more activities to do as well as a buff for the stamps to make them worthwhile collecting. At a minimum, slap that poker table down in the cellblock again so inmates can at least do that.

no... pure psychological, committing a crime would not be as exciting if there were no consequences attached to it.
this is a suggestion that was not thought through very well, prison was already nerfed 2 times.

you just want a free card. and its so weak.

OMG YES!! I've only had to RP being a prisoner at DOC once and it was so boring. I'd LOVE to RP cooking or anything that encourages using hat is already in the server. 

There's already a yard, so why not put incentives folks to use it!
