Remove combat MG mk2's and carbine mk2's / nerf them

cops still have it, and i think they should continue to have it for like another 3/6 months (or however long it takes for the gun to be rarely seen in the hand of a crim), but they shouldn't be using it every day, only when a shootout vs cops is happening should they be deployed. I'm not entirely sure but I think SD/PD requirements for them are decently high, SED/PD's equivilent only I hope.

That's because of all these posts, crims all think they are getting removed so they are currently using them more than usual  under the assumption they are being removed soon.

If people really want a refund just do a refund for the import price theyll have to just cut their losses  no need to make it a bigger thing than it needs to be. Guns OP should just be outright removed from the server ASAP ROCKY

I tend to lean more towards this direction because i think the faster they are gone the better for everyone. 

 

( i would like to add I am viewing this from the perspective of both LEO and crim as i am in SD and rooks)

Agree with having it removed as soon as possible, theres no fair way to deal with it other than an outright removal, the idea of setting a date to remove them so people can choose to use them as much as possible or refund is an amazing idea, atleast that way people get to choose.

I don't understand why people keep saying they bought it for a higher price. Apartment labs were disabled, and you got no refund for your tables. People might have complained at the beginning, but no one really cared. Just delete the gun and move on. Issue an import price refund if it's really necessary.

Yes this happened. But later down the line when attachments got re-worked there was a command to remove the items from your inventory and give you the import amount for it. All automatic no admins involved. A few I think this would be a simple solution that would cater to everyone instead of just straight deleting them. + people can remove their ammo, attachments etc before despawning the gun

if you stockpile an obviously broken item to again an advantage over others then complain about a refund you're part of the problem too tbh

why is it cool for you to pay a premium price to abuse a broken game feature that everyone else agrees is broken and not necessary, with other less fortunate players unable to afford or get access to just for YOU to gain an advantage yet when it gets balanced you should also be entitled to a refund? joke of a mentality

now that i think about it, i guarantee half the mfs wanting refunds for the guns didnt even personally buy them, but instead were looted off dead mfs so wtf you want a refund for??

you're acting like the gun is fundamentally broken/bugged, they are just the best gun on the server, priced accordingly. plent of us bought them without know how good they were, pd/sd have access to them also, why are you suggesting only crims take a massive L and lose money that we spent time getting. I refuse to believe you thinking all our money going poof is fair

its still unfair for the people that paid for them or gained them, what are we supposed to do when a new item gets added? get scared of buying a few because "they might get removed because they are broken" that makes no sense, this type of thing has never been seen before in this server and when putting it into context with league and main champions, you dont waste any ingame currency when having ur "main" nerfed, you simply learn how to play around it, here you actually loose alot of money on an ingame item, you shouldint be scared of buying something expensive because it might get removed, this makes absolutley 0 sense.

Correct this isn’t all about monetary things, but removing the MG mk2s would be great, I agree with Bala saying use them until X date, but also give people the opportunity to refund similarly to the attachments before the gun update was dropped. They’re 37.5k per, that’s 2 chop cars worth! Thats one bank with full pockets PER GUN!!
 

no offense to cops in this scenario but you get to /fl them. We had to purchase, order, and pick them up, and risk 90 minutes of jail and 10k in fines every time we bring them out(just for the gun, not attachments either!) Let crims have at least their money back for the guns they have. 
 

Also imo remove all MGs.. the normal one is ass, combat MG is a military weapon, they have no place in crimRP. You don’t see any servers really with a bunch of MGs running around!!

Combat MG's to me is what a MG mk2 shouldve been, a very powerful, still expensive gun with alot of recoil meaning its actually skillbased to use, the main problem with the MGmk2 is that you have a gun dealing twice the damage of the mk1, with less than half the recoil.
