pvp is the main reason more than half the server still log in lmfao

At this point surely the direction we should be going is embracing the playstyle that most crims have naturally fallen into, instead of trying to remould everyone to enjoy heavy roleplaying and story drive gameplay. The server naturally became an asset farming simulator where everyone just 'roleplays' as themselves (the majority at least) because of the fact we have no wipes (no one is encouraged to explore other stories and choices with their characters because everyone else is progressing and I guess people don't want to be left behind in terms of meta cars/guns/kevlar/connections for drops/climbing the gang hierarchy ladder ect.) No wipes coupled with very limited crim focused activities/dev updates leaves very few things for active crims to do that brings them excitement. Though I would enjoy more story driven roleplay (those of you that actually know me, know I actually do enjoy roleplay, shocker I know) I just think the server lost direction a long time ago, people got bored, roleplay became second to enjoyment and farming assets and people started living out their lives on the server instead of playing a character (which happens with a lot of servers tbh, and If people want to do that all the power to them) As roleplay standards fell over the years, punishments for poor RP maybe weren't severe enough? everyone eventually becomes friends outside of the server and everyone becomes complacent and sloppy when it comes to staying IC. (I am very guilty of this) All of these issues, along with the fact it's been like this for so long and the lack of new things to do, I don't see a world where our current player base are all able to just switch up their mentalities and change what brings them enjoyment, at the end of the day, MOST crims want to log in, use their cars and guns that they worked hard for and shoot each other and talk shit. In my opinion, surely it's better for everyone on the server if we facilitate the PVP for those who WANT to PVP. A good first step for this would be following what a few other suggestions on the last post spoke on, bring everyone back to the city, make up north more of a volatile zone, relax a few rules regarding prior escalation, robbery rules ect. (not so legals are getting robbed at gas stations, more between gang members/people with guns, or people engaging in criminal activity) Lets facilitate and provide support for a way of playing that a lot of people enjoy, pvp events?/'for the next 2 hours x lab will double your drugs'?/I'm sure we could come up with some fun stuff. (Just want to add, I know there are a number of people that don't just RP as themselves, have characters with depth, put effort into their characters decisions even when sometimes it won't benefit themselves, but the cold hard truth is, this server hasn't been a heavy RP server for a long time. I just feel as though it's easier going a little bit more forward with that we have, instead of trying to force everyone 10 steps back) xoxo

Some of the most fun I’ve ever had on the server involves cops almost always, being chased, hiding from them, being in shoot-outs with them. The reason being that there is consequence, the fear of spending time in jail/prison is what makes these interactions intense and exciting. Crims and cops need each other to exist to function, this is why when either one is heavily outnumbered (daytime cop heavy, night time crim heavy) shit doesn't work and it's way less fun to play, alot of crims won't do shit or log on in the day because too many cops, and A LOT of cops complain at night because the safety of numbers is gone and they don't like getting shot at most nights when they feel they don't stand a chance. I think the biggest problem is just that everyone wants to win, or at least the majority of the server has that mindset, myself included most of the time. Harley touched on something important too, the player count itself effects things much more than you think. People log on to have fun, not sit in a speed trap hoping there will be no crime for hours, or sat in doc for 3 hours because you dared leave a drug lab in the day time. Another issue is the fact we don't have NPC's, If a cop is bored and they see the first car they've seen in 5/10 mins they are going to pull a u turn or whatever they need to do to go check your plate, check if they can see a .50 clipping through the driver seat or find any reason they can to interact with you, and you can't blame them, there is barely anything else for them to do, no one else to interact with sometimes, and they logged on to play the game not watch youtube shorts sat in a speed trap. If there was another 200 people driving around the server then the people that log on every day would fall into the background, but 1 gang is often 20% of the server pop so you're going to get alot more attention from LEOs than you used to. Over recent years I’ve stopped giving grief to LEOs as I started realising the above, as well as playing some LEO myself. Both sides are just bored. That's it. Cops need to chillax a little, some care way too much, and crims need to stop crying and start being a little smarter. PD shouldn't HAVE to charge stack, let the arresting officer drop some smaller charges if they RP well/don't stall/did something that made the interaction fun. there is ZERO incentive for a crim to go above and beyond the bare minimum in terms of RP standards especially when they're already frustrated. There are way too many problems to discuss on a forum post, and allowing anyone and everyone to come complain about their very specific issues is not going to help. If you want to actually make change, you need a discussion with devs + a few high up LEOs that are staff + a couple notable crims who have been on the server for many years. maybe do that discord space thing where everyone can listen i can't remember what it's called. Because the lack of communication and mistrust between staff/devs and criminal players is crazy. mb for the spam, I’m no good at conveying my thoughts over text.

huh? i made the suggestion for that exact reason, the fights aren't fun, that's the issue.

the problem is the passengers and the fact there is no recoil with autos

Currently you can driveby in 3rd person, with a 360 view with 0 recoil with automatic guns. This is extremely unfun to deal with no matter if you're the one doing it, or the one on the receiving end, essentially because there it is too easy. I'm suprised it's taken this long to fully catch on by the majority of the server, but now it's at a point where every crim has a driveby at all times, and most fights are extremely boring. Everyone should need to be in 1st person to driveby, also add some recoil while you're at it, make it rewarding at least. We need to change alot of shit up tbh but let's start here.

don't agree with private labs, but do agree with Requiem's suggestion. I voiced something similar recently, place an NPC somewhere where you can pay x amount of money to open a lab of your choice, the more tables the lab has the more money it will cost, for an hour then it closes again. Just have the hp of the tables go down over time until they break, that way if people came across one that they didn't open, they'd know how long it has left.

big +1 Iv'e recently started streaming on the server, and having to have a cover over my radio freq on the right at all times is bad enough, also whenever I change my bind, the new binds shows at the top of my screen. having to change my scene to hide my whole screen whenever I change freq is kind of annoying. I understand that dev work is better spent on other things rn, but if it's easy to impliment and doesn't take much time, I'd apprecaite it a lot!

bro, have you seen the RP from the average crim? MOST LEO's that have 1 year+ under their belt have decent enough RP for this server that lets be honest. actual roleplay on this server has been on a decline forver and to think it can try and impove in that aspect going forward as the player base declines is a pipedream. IMO all we can do is patch up the major issues, stop expecting A++ RP from LEO's and factions with all the ooc trash they have to do to simply exist, let them play and enjoy what time we have left, which can be a decent amount of time. I'm not all doom and gloom, I think there is plently of fun times ahead. But we need development assistance or we can continue to rot and cry about the same shit everyone has been crying about for years now.

Iv'e been saying this for years and iv'e added many ideas in your original post, knowing the fact that there is a competent police force and a consequence behind your actions is the ONLY reason being a crim is fun. But the fact that being arrested is not a CHANGE of roleplay, but instead, a FULL STOP to RP is most people's frustration with LEO's whether they know it or not. DOC is straight up trash and needs dev's immediate attention over everything else. Only once this is addressed and fixed can we really begin to help people who enjoy criminal roleplay. It's so frustrating seeing this exact post every 6 months for the past 6 years, PD/SD is completely fine as they are right now. they are doing what they are supposed to do, which is make being a criminal rewarding, challenging and fun. To touch on the fact PD/SD has Niobe's and banshee's, they are only pulled out if you are in an overpowered car yourself so who fucking cares. They also have their fair share of jugular drivers who have good fps and keep up with me just fine going 240 everywhere. I haven't seen that new heli going 270 or whatever but the speed of the heli doesn't even matter, you don't lose a heli by going fast anyway so stop crying for 0.

exactly why the suggestion is a good one, and no, going to a station and hoping there is someone there within the first hour you wait is not the answer HAHHAHAHA

+1 Iv'e suggested this in the past and I'll mention it again, we should get rid of the ID's for normal game play in general. I'm guessing the main reason it would be a hasstle without them completely would be no one would know who they are reporting, just have them only come up when you hit the ' key, the one that shows the player list. That way people wouldn't need to pretend they don't see ID's in bushes/trunks ect, RP flows much better when you don't need to pretend you didn't see something.

i never use it, but +1. what a poop gun that must be now, can't imagine there's a market for the lower tier gangs to make deals with that.

It's been almost 10 days since the following change was made to ALL MK2 guns: [Weapons] Nerfed Mk II gun damage to be equal to that of their regular counterparts. Mk II guns are going to remain simply as more customizable versions. Now, I was for the nerf of the Combat MG MK2, so was most of, if not every member of the server, crim and LEOs, I'm also for the 10% overall damage nerf to all guns. And I think for the most part the change has gone down nicely. The call to action to nerf the Combat MG MK2, I believe, was the seed to the nerf of all MK2 guns. But instead of just the MG MK2, ALL MK2's got their damage changed to match their MK1 versions, with the additional option to lower recoil/add extra attatchments which would make up for the costly price of buying the MK2 verson of a gun without additional damage. Which is great for full auto guns being able to add additional attatchments to add less fall off damage (heavy barrel) and add an extra muzzle attatchments to further lower recoil (muzzle brakes) Here's the only issue, the Pump MK2 has absolutely nothing that can make up for the extra cost of the gun with the use of the extra attatchments, what is a holo sight or a scope helping with? an extra girthy silencer? can already supress the MK1, muzzle brake? the pump has lowered to it's exact starting position where you fired it from before you can shoot it again. There is ZERO attachments for this gun that makes it any better than it's MK1 counter part. The gun can no longer be ordered for crims, it was a limited time thing and bought/sold at silly prices because of that reason (and it was just a good ass gun) Sheriffs have it as their main primary gun for alot of their ranks I believe, it's their bread and butter and it's just been gutted so much. I loved the pump mk2, with all these automatic guns we have these days it's not even easy to get close to people during shootouts anymore and we see pumps rarely enough as is. I'm not even asking for the damage to be completely put back to it's original values, but please dont just make it a more expensive/ extremely rare EXACT copy of the MK1. Much love, Kon (shotty enthusiast)

Date and time (provide timezone): 21:15 06/07/2025 Character name: Kon Xun Does this issue appear again after a full game restart?: yes How many times did this issue appear for you?: always Issue/bug you are reporting: not sure if it's really a bug, or a game feature that i think needs changing since changing dragging items out of your inventory drops them (which i actually love as an update) but i think for a QOL update it would be nice to remove the deadzones between inventory slots to avoid dropping items when you are only moving them around in your inventory. Expected behavior: items to move from one slot to another, not drop between the slots and drop on the ground. Evidence (MUST provide either UNEDITED photo or video) , notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: https://streamable.com/cw0iba Vehicle license plate number*: N/A
