  1. +1 This would still provide relevance to the mechanics as you would still need to get your car fixed, but would give a temporary solution to get your car to the mechanic shop, or at least most of the way there...especially if the car stalls out in the middle of no where. Additionally there are many times where people's cars break and people leave their vehicles on the sidewalks or in the middle of the road. This would give crims the opportunity to break into the vehicle and repair it enough to drive with the toolkit if people make the choice to leave their vehicle in the middle of the road like that.
  2. I agree that there are issues with player's interaction with tasers for sure many times, but to Ash's point, this is a problem with RP standards and not the script. Adjustments needs to be made to the RP on both sides if this is a problem. The player tasing the other player should utilize RP to grab them while they are tased as would be done realistically. The player being tased should roleplay the effects of a taser correctly and properly respond if they are being grabbed or restrained.
  3. I am interested in the property. I sent a text message. Please respond either here or to the text at your earliest convenience!
  4. I think the minigame system is ok for the concept. Just needs some QoL impovements. Some forgiveness for any lag or desync to ensure that a success on your screen doesn't still end up failing. Also the color/contrast is off and it makes the circle hard to see sometimes.
  5. +1 This is already an open suggestion by at least one or two others, but nonetheless, support it.
  6. +1 Having another form of cards to player would be great.
  7. Overall, there is so much RP opportunity to make the server great for legal citizens that just want to work freelance jobs or for crims that want to make some extra money and create so many more RP opportunities. The big answer here is a dynamic server economy. Make supply and demand concepts matter. As mentioned, as some of these items are not being sold for long periods of time, the price should by default go up. Long term, a use for some of these items could be implemented. Other great suggestions on the forums have been that would give a use to some of these items: Mining Oil The oil mined by players could fuel (no pun intended) yet another freelance job - Oil refinery. The oil could be taken and refined down to gasoline or diesel fuel for use by gas stations. Truckers could receive orders to pick up the refined product and deliver to actual player owned gas stations. The amount of demand from gas stations and amount of oil that's been mined recently could drive prices up of the oil and create better competition between gas stations based on fluctuating prices. The oil refinery could be another freelance job that players could go work at to make some extra money! Fishing FatherOsborn has a great suggestion up for changes to fishing. Add different species, qualities, and sizes of fish. Maybe you could get lucky while fishing and get a "record size rare fish" and it would sell for 10x the amount? Weazel news could end up writing up an article on people who break the records for the biggest fish caught. Allow for larger and more expensive fish to be cause by using boats and going to to deep sea fish rather than just finishing by the canals or off the pier. Allow multiple types of fishing such as net fishing, trawling, or normal bait fishing. Perhaps the fish caught could again be used as a food source and delivered to sea food restaurants or the pet store for food. Garbage Not much to say here. Seems like its reasonable in its current state. Coroner Agreed with OP. Add a location in the city for coroners and passive advertisement to make new players aware this job is a thing and how to contact them if a body is found. Additionally, have a random dead body spawn every once in a while in different places to give extra RP opps to law enforcement and give coroners something to do in their downtime. Maybe the body could have a chance to have random inexpensive items such as a radio or GPS and some clothing on their body to give crims something to steal off the body for some cash at the pawn shop and some further RP opps like getting caught by police when someone is stealing things off a dead body. Farming Again, add some economy and some supply and demand here. Additionally, the products of farming such as wheat or soybeans could be used as ingredients to deliver to burgershot for their buns. Or lettuce could be farmed for the burgers. Some of the output could go to other player owned restaurants for RP opps. GoPostal Give some QoL updates as mentioned above to ensure that the driver knows how many packages are going to the address they are going to. Maybe find a way to allow players to send things through the mail to each other? This could allow fun ways for people to give gifts or send things to each other. Trucking Tie in trucking to the above suggestions to transport critical inventory items such as things from the farm, fish market, or even butcher to restaurants/burgershot for example. Burgershot Some QoL updates and extra content could be added here. Bala put up a great suggestion post for other things for workers to do. WoodCutting Again, supply and demand. Keeping with the concept, the output from the lumber mill could be delivered to the furniture store for new stock and give the truckers more to do. Atm/Money Transport Seems ok as it stands. No additional ideas here right now. Mining Ore Same as above with economy. Again output could maybe go to the furniture store for trucker job opps. TollBooth Agreed with OP that price could go up slightly to give more benefit to worker. BusDriver Agreed, add more routes and bonuses for certain longer routes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lastly, to tie all this together, adding more locations for these potential deliveries to go to would be even better! Bala also put up a great suggestion for a shopping mall that would give tons of stores to work at and for these deliveries to go to to fuel the economy even further.
  8. I think this is now the 3rd or 4th suggestion/discussion open now about LEO vs Crim and vehicle chases. If you have suggestions regarding a specific faction, I recommend reaching out directly to that faction's leadership rather than just rant for the 10,000,000,000,000th time on the forums about the same thing. For PD you can reach out to Kris, and for SD FatherOsborn! You will see more productive results and discussion that way.
  9. +1 This is quite annoying I agree. No reason LEO's, and even the vehicle owner, shouldn't be able to see info on the vehicle such as how much it will cost to release.
  10. +1 to filling water from actual supplies. -1 for the filter and water bill...
  11. I believe this is already an open suggestion. But nonetheless, +1.
  12. I agree with the comments and see no real reason to limits RP opps and not just add some of these "fun" vehicles in. Obviously the problematic ones such as some supers and armored vehicles have their reasons for not being added, but I would like to see the reason for not adding a golf cart for general purchase.
  13. We see the same kind of problems in other areas of the server as well, such as furniture storage (lockers or safes). The two main issues are volume and weight capacity. The number of squares available is sometimes a problem with items that don't stack well, and the weight is a problem for some things that don't see to be balanced for their weight properly. +/- 1 on the concept of larger truck capacities. I agree that realistically it would make sense to rebalance this, but we need to consider the game balance as well. Capability to move a lot more can impact things such as fishing, oil mining, or ore mining and the economy of those. Can also impact certain criminal activities such as drug movement or illegal shipment drops. I don't know what that impact necessarily looks like, but it should be considered before changing something like this.
  14. The issue here is not just loss of player interaction, its loss of investigative ability for LEO factions. LEO's are already very limited on what they can do to track people down and investigate crimes, and using impound reports and interactions at the impound is part of LEO's capability to do so by understanding vehicles a person may own and exactly what those vehicles look like along with their license plate info, etc. Automating the impound removes those reports and interactions and limits investigative ability and RP opps. I can agree with some level of automation when there are little to no LEOs on duty, but aside from that, its a -1 from me.
  15. +1 to the suggestion and +1 to the above additions, especially unique graphics. I think it would be more immersive and add some nice RP to make IDs more versatile with what you could do with them and look at a real graphic instead of the text we have now.
  16. -1 Agreed with alexalex. This would simply lead to no one ever leaving their car for shootouts and would become a disaster. Can't support it.
  17. Can confirm I have the same issue on both in game purchased pets and credit store pets.
  18. I like this idea...gives more purpose to boats which currently don't really have much use. Agreed. Up the prices. It makes since economically and IC wise since no one has been fishing...the prices should go up as supply has been low for fish sold on the market.

Outnumbered referring to the SWAT team specifically. The SWAT team only consists of about 15 members, all of which are on extremely different time zones with different schedules IRL. Only ever about 3-5 SWAT members normally on at PEAK times, unless we have a prescheduled in game event such as weekly training for our team. SWAT Command is the supervisory command team of SWAT. They lead the team, create policy and provide orders to lower ranking SWAT officers. As others say quite often, perhaps try playing as an LEO, and specifically SWAT before making unfounded claims or saying things like "you are never outnumbered". I have been in the SWAT team for over a year now and I can assure you that from my experience, we are almost always outnumbered.

-1 As a member of SWAT command for PD, I believe that the numbers and policies IC are balanced properly in their current state. In no realistic instance would crims try to fight a SWAT team and expect to win or even have a chance to. Regardless, changing the armor values for SWAT specifically will not change the outcome of most situations. It is SWATs job to insert themselves INTO shootouts and high risk situations where most often we realize that we may be out numbered. Only deserving we have high AP values and weaponry to back it up.
  21. +1 I find myself squinting and having to focus a lot when performing these mini games, and I have good vision IRL...
  22. This should be revisited since it seems fishing is dead content currently!
  23. +1. This would be really cool to implement, however, I believe too much dev time would likely be required, so don't hold your breath on this one....
