  1. Big +1, was about to suggest same but luckily looked up that there already is such suggestion. While as mentioned in next comment, people RP it, a script supported blindfold that makes player see only pitch black darkness, will be helpful to prevent MG and PG as the player in blindfold simply will not be able to see anything, as it should be with blindfold. Surprised why it is not implemented yet.
  2. Simply, recently discovered that if you quickly tap [DISMANTLE] option on car jack twice, it will make no sound of dismantling, then you can, for example, press CTRL+2 to stop anim and you can move freely around while circle minigame is ongoing in dismantling process, you can take out gun or knife at that point and it shouldn't be that way. No evidence as of now, just test it for yourself.
  3. Seems like each side defends their side without willing to look what it is on other side of fence, and it is understandable. It still will not hurt whole ecosystem if there is some slack cut for criminals, and if that means that some cops lose their grasp at power and that makes them feel sad, so be it. Most of criminals feel that way but we don't stop our fight, so stop crying about how negative your experience will become and learn that other people already are having such bad experiences, yet they still continue to never back down. Cops could learn a thing or two from criminals side. Just my two cents, if some cop becomes sad reading this, then stop being hypocrite cringe.
  4. Yet, again, I need to remind that I am not suggesting cops to pay for their gear, I did not mention that nor it was my intent. What I mean is, make cops more in charge about what they do, held them more responsible for actions they carry. Ideally, they would be funded by our taxes, and amount of taxes they receive would dictate how much of the stuff or gear they can use and to what extent, therefore making them accountable for responsible use of said expensive inventory. It is only fair that if cop takes out gear he don't need, trashes his car and just frespawns it, that it is unnecessary money spent, therefore waste of their "limited" budget ( not in this case obviously, because their limits are endless). As simply as it sound, if cops did not have fspawn items ability in their magic trucks, that would make them held responsible for fair and adequate use of equipment at their disposal. They load necessary stuff in car, use or don't use it, and bring it back at the end of shit by manually unloading trunk and putting items back in safes or whatever locker inside precincts, just the way crims do it all this time. If cop is too afraid for his life, I'm all in favor for him to sit inside mission row or impound place, maybe that way that cop will be more useful. That indeed sounds like what many Dayz players experience - loot sickness. Where they are afraid to loose their precious items, and so they do everything to not loose it. My comment is not intended from hate, just fair stakes for both sides, and this, in my humble opinion, would put both sides at more or less equal state. Making pd fear for their life and gear would equalize those people in both sides, that unfortunately have win mentality, on both sides of fence. I know from experience that most cops are cool people whom I would like to interact again, I would even do petty crime for that to happen, but unfortunately there are alse less bright bulbs, so this approach would not impact those who play from their hart, and would demolish win mentality to those who suffer from it and those who believes they are immortal just because they belong to forces. Makes me think, actually, why Noone wants that...
  5. @Jett_J in response... (quote function seems to not work from phone, so sorry for tag) Yeah amounts can be fine tuned, they don't need to be as ridiculous as I mentioned. I'm sure if smart people like most commenter here put their heads together, they can brainstorm a really good and functional system that punishes cops in IC ways for such matters, and at the same time helps to balance obvious bias here. It would be just fair that cops are responsible for some things like weaponry armor etc... For the stealing part- the cop cars are hard to steal or lock pick by itself, and it involves huge risk but also possibly a huge benefit. I would add that it is also unfair, that cop can just type some commands to get whatever he wants (with rp of grabbing it, hopefully) from car, while for crims they need to waste time waiting for admins to even respond to alt perm request because "admins are too involved in their own rp scenarios etc" while at the time the items realistically would be in some box or storage inside trunk, so it would make sense that other people that are not cops can easily get them if they get to the opened trunk itself... I hope you see what I meant by initial comment, that unfortunately average crim is in a bad starting position from the start, and that is not because crim life in general is risky and faces severe IC punishments, but that the system itself puts crims at the end of the marathon line right at the starting point.
  6. Big plus from the bottom of my hearth. Bonus for 2nd point - sometimes (not all cops) indeed pretent to be invulnerable just because of their affiliation with police. Here is a great example of police officer flipping car and not even having slightest bruises or car malfunctions Plus other times when officers use to simply take out endless goodies from the car trunk. I would suggest that officers can take only limited amount of stuff and only from precincts like mission row, then load all they need in their car trunk. Car got lost, stolen? Well that happens, officer who took guns or other items faces monetary punishment for each item they do not retrieve at the end of their shift, say 20k for gun and 100k for heavies, another 60k for armor, sounds fair deal no? And then it is a fair chance for criminals to loot cop cars + they are not limited to their rp, and don't have to ask for "alt rp" to find a shotgun or other items in cop car, because in reality, alt rp perms usually are not as fast as it would be needed for optimal situation escalation, and this is bias in its true Form towards said faction members.
  7. Only cheese in mouse trap is free... Where is the catch?
  8. Well... cant disagree. Respectfully, it would be just fair to get tease short time before actual implementation, especially with the gun update where people gave off their attachments. I really hope that this wont happened with drugs and other updates ...
  9. Hmm... Could be that solution can be found if coded some way, that if two or more ID's are in close range, and one or some of them gets downed, it automatically records it into logs with save time of 48h or so? That way visible IDs could be even disabled, but it would show up in logs if someone makes report with known timestamp. And 48h of saving log would ensure that it don't take too much of a storage space, because after 48h they get deleted? Just an ideas to help it happen, but yeah dev time would be better used to already announced update teasers, that's a priority number one, because if there is none in promoted time, people could be really sad
  10. Hmm, okay thanks for letting me know, I was unaware of such issues in past. As an alternative to the previously enormous +1, can it be made half transperant? That way it is still recorded by people screen capture software, and at the same time it doesn't sore eyes that much. And yeah in general font size choosing could be cool, but AFAIK it's an issue on ragemp end.
  11. Enormous erect +1. Sure it might increase some VDM occurances, but we have admins for a reason and it is their job they chose to do by their own will. A couple of super severe actions like bans will teach a nice lesson to anyone willing to risk to VDM someone. Point and case.
  12. Hello! I have had this what seems to be great idea - black market web-site for criminals and not only criminals. In two-sentences: Idea is that criminals can utilize either phone or laptop ( or other means of accessing WWW In Game using RP means ) web-page, where they only can leave their contact info ( they can also input fake info too, these can be undercover cops, scammers, etc. ...) and order for any sort of illegal item/service they look to either sell, buy or exchange. I have already designed such web-page and you can test out the idea behind it - [REMOVED URL] ( PLEASE NOTE THAT PAGE IS NOT ACCEPTED FOR IG / IC INFORMATION EXCHANGE, BE ADVISED THAT I DO NOT HELD ANY RESPONSIBILITY OF WHAT YOU LEAVE / READ THERE !!! ) Main idea is, that this web-page could be theoretically installed into everyone phone as app, much like LifeInvader LLC, where users can access it both via In Game phone menu and Real life web-browsers, phones etc. as simple website. So far it was deemed that this idea should be developed/held from administrators of EC:RP side, and it is understandable - more control over what is left there for anyone to see, data safety etc. Idea is to some day implement such "black market" page for everyone's disposal, as in my opinion it opens up a lot of RP possibilities, to name a few: 1) Shy criminals, whom are not socially engaging, could easily find someone to sell/buy items or services they need/want, it can make them step ahead social anxiety and socialize more. 2) Police can put traps there, for example, listing an offer for assassination's or drug buying, where they catch some sloppy criminals whose are not too carefully. 3) People do not need to interact more than they need - if someone just wants to order a G or two of weed, they don't need to risk their life going on dangerous journey of obtaining such items from streets, filled with killers and other type of shady personnel. 4) ... ? As you can see, I believe this would enrich criminal life in a realistic manner, whereas not giving them any big BUFF ( speaking of buffs... *coughs * ) or advantage that Police couldn't countervail.
  13. Please close this thread as I got responded over discord ticket that SA+ do not see it fit for use in IC/IG. Will keep developing this as suggestion in suggestion sub-page.
  14. Hello, I am not sure if this is right section, but inside Discord general support ticket I was informed to contact SA+ regarding the following issue: I want to approve my web-page to be used in IC matters. I am happy to share the general idea on how it is supposed to operate in my mind with administrators and staff personnel. I will share web-page code, methods used and all that is important in this case, please PM me here or in discord ( AntonioColombo#5722 ) and I will explain all that is needed to be explained. General idea is a black-market web-page, where users can make RP that they access black-market web-page IG and put up orders. These orders contain only two fields - contact info and order itself, users can put fake info as well or police could use it eventually if they apply sufficient RP that they gain access to web-page with seized device like phone or laptop. I am in progress of putting RP behind the web-page and it will follow up in-character story section if the idea gets approved) Upon registration, users need only to input their nickname ( it does NOT have to be anything associated with IC or OOC information for that player) and password, that is stored as MD5 hash inside database ( I cannot find password in plain text even if I wanted to ) Then registered users can navigate to the page part where they can browse orders, or add one by themselves. Regular users CANNOT modify or delete any of the record, but admin users ( set trough database as flag for either user is admin on page or not ) can edit/delete any record. I feel that this would be a great character development for Antonio Colombo and would benefit many more people whom either don't have good connections, or are too anti social to approach individuals on streets to exchange illegal goods. Main aim is to improve this aspect in attempt to make socialization more possible, because exchanging illegal goods involves in interaction between buyer and seller, and in my believe, it can help some individuals like me whom is not keen on social interactions. + added bonus it adds another layer for Criminals to utilize network of black-market, adding more possibilities to RP for either CRIMS and COPS.
  15. People wouldn't complain about lack of updates if broken things would have been patched in timely manner. For example, after last bigger update couple months ago, toll booths and coroner jobs were bugged and didn't work fully (while job is functional, it doesn't pay you). It was happy moment to find out that toll booth is now fixed, MONTHS after people were complaining, but at the same time coroner job is still not! Months, not days or hours, but freakishly months! Same with other issues and suggestions, it feels like just a chit-chat section on forums where no matter how good or how easy-to-implement suggestion is, it will with 99.95% certainty sink into suggestions folder archive with couple of "+1" comments in them. While yeah there is RP and things you can "imagine" not everything revolves around that, script just has to be up to the date and point to support all that, to balance out people who has no intent in RP and only have "clap-win" mentality. Also, worth to mention, that as mentioned early by someone that "we can't haver nice things or talks because of people who say bad things about development" - well not every bad word means what it has written, you have to know how to read between lines! People are generally frustrated that they get teased some certain aspects of game update and they hope to see it, because they fund this by "donations" in hope that these "donations" will help develop things quicklier and make server greater, where instead they get no real answers from people whom they have put their trust into, and it just sucks to be threatened this way. Learn to understand WHY someone may say bad things and understand them, instead of saying "hurr durr u bad me no like u" OK I'm sorry I needed to vent out, if this offended anyone, then think about why.
  16. Not every job, or addition to script, imo, should be focused solely on "interaction" part. It is not mandatory to "interact" with other players if you don't feel like it, there is plenty enough opportunities to "interact" and I don't see how this addition, if ever added to the server, would ruin any of that. People who socialise more will continue to do, people who don't might seek help to other crypto miners for help with setup etc, creating a deep niche theme that can be RolePlayEd as nerdy or tech-smart thing, only bringing more variety to this game.
  17. I was stuck there today, needed to call cops to rescue me. Anyways, massive +++ to all ideas as they are well thought off and balanced. Good luck to Devs in implementing them.
  18. Slowdown sounds a brilliant idea to balance things out and so that skill is what determines car chases, but if that gets anywhere near implementation stage, please don't fuck over maneuverability at slow speeds. Cars shouldn't behave like butter on a fry pan while moving slowly. It could be gradual detoriation on maneuverability loss as speed goes up, then it would be even better and more realistic, because not every pursuit is about speed
  19. I am a simple man, I see good suggestion, I give my vote. +1!
  20. I don't evade cops because my character is law abiding citizen , however almost every update ends up in favor of police or other forces, which disbalances things in server and causes unnecessary tensions. After all it is game and not real life, police should not be put above criminals in no way, like it or not, but police is just another part of the server, not main group into which all the resources should focus. But then again, it is just in my opinion and facts can be different from that.
  21. Nerf PD, buff Crims. It does not make sense that crim in super car can't go faster than cops because "it hurts good rp practices and it hurts pd feelings". Crim paid for that car from his own pocket, whereas cop just use it for free, so normally it would be only logical that crim can go faster because well, he/she paid for that speed. Screw that, it is unhealthy that cops don't use their brain to catch criminals, plan sting operations and such to get them, rather just relay that they get free maxed cars that are faster than any other car out there. Now that I call unrealistic and unhealthy.
  22. -1 simply because it will simp away time of developers, I believe there are many more important updates that players cannot wait to get implemented, after that its + from me.
  23. -1 because this certainly is not something that developers should waste time on, at least as if now when server lacks some updates. Maybe later when other hot topics are dealt with. Just my 2 cents.
  24. Any small warehouse left to see and not buy because of high price? Just want to see the numbers on door, maybe I can afford it
