With how bank timers currently work (with specific minutes and seconds), CCTV for banks inside police stations is not a good idea as it will just reinforce MG behaviour, whether or not intentional. Footage inside banks should definitely be rewindable, and there should be 4 instead of 1 to compensate not having footage viewable from inside stations; one outside, one inside by the main entrance facing the clerks, one inside the main corridor by the vault door to be drilled, and one inside the actual vault with all the money. It’s a massive pain for someone to RP huge lines of /ldo’s just describing the attire of up to 15 people inside a bank when rewindable footage could do that for them. I agree that bank RP doesn’t really make for much RP unless there’s a hostage situation, but being able to view the live footage doesn’t really change this in my opinion, only rapidly increases response time.

+1 Agreed for CCTV cameras to be checked only in stores. It doesn’t make much sense for store cameras to be viewable from inside a police station, even if it’s a chain shop, do correct me if I’m wrong. Not sure if there are stats on how often people actually cut the camera wires, but because the footage can be viewed from the station, bolt cutting has been rendered basically useless. In my opinion, allow store cameras to be rewindable (I believe already implemented, but I’m not sure for how long by), allow for footage to be reviewed from that store only, and to balance, add a camera outside to identify vehicles and license plates if in view. Will require criminals to be more mindful of where they place their vehicle etc. If you want to go the extra mile, add an interaction/“interview” option with the NPC shopkeeper (similar to the turf NPCs) that is available to LEO for randomised set of minutes after a store robbery and the shopkeeper can provide information about the weapon used to aim, gender(s) of the criminals, how long it has been since the robbery, how much was stolen, as well as how many people stole from the cashier as measured by script; >> Interview NPC >> “Oh Sheriff, I’m so glad you’re here. Some people just came into my store [about 10 minutes ago] and stole [10,000 dollars] from the cashier! >> Can you tell me a little bit more about what happened? OR Exit >> “I don’t remember much, but I know for sure that there were [two women, one man stealing from the cashier] and [a woman was aiming at me] with a [SNS pistol].” This feels a little more investigatory on LEO part especially when you combine this information with the use of the inside and outside store cameras (as they then have even more information to work on when bringing in someone for questioning or builds their rationale for pulling people out of their vehicles) and maybe forces criminals to be more mindful of their actions IC. Such information can also hold a lot of RP potential, such as knowing how much money was stolen and therefore using that as a base for bribery for more information. All this can be done through /me and /do of course, but it’s not really the first thing people think of so having the information there would make up some good interactions! Just my two cents. I wouldn’t jump to say otherwise is a power gaming breach, I’d suggest changing the title of the thread just to avoid any accusatory comments!

Honestly see so much potential with this group. The writing and interactions I had with them were so far A+. Rooting for you guys, keep it up!

We only wanted one thing to come from the faction and it was to create stories, meaningful opps (outside back-to-back shootouts), and a space for friends. We wanted to bring the community closer together than apart. After over a hundred pages of documents for RP requests, the application for official, and forum post write-ups, hours of planning, writing, actually doing the opps, it has been decided that the faction will be coming to a close as it nears its one-year anniversary. This faction was unique in the way it was built from the ground-up. All the lore, storylines, and general culture of the faction was completely new. We were grounded on diplomacy and giving chances for smaller factions to develop and enrich the server in their own way. Relations were built because they were genuine, not because they were used to fight others. The faction and its members stood on its own for a long time, proving it to be completely independent and self-sufficient. Thank you to the Triads for being our first ally and friends of the faction we had the collective honour to RP with. Much of what our faction is built from is from what we learned from the Triads, with special thanks to Bruce Wong. Thank you to FSO for inspiring the change in the way RP was conducted within our faction. We decided on completely changing the direction of the faction once we recognised how focussed FSO was on themselves and their lore and story. We credit you for our creation of the bomb workshop, which inspired a massive amount of our backstory, lore and RP opportunities. With FSO, we also realised how paramount and inclusive RP can be when they invited us to RP inside the Noodle House and we invited them to RP opium planting within our bomb workshop. Thank you to Burnout Nation for allowing us to cross over a lot of RP opportunities between legal and illegal factions and for being open to creating opportunities with us. Special thanks to Asbjorn Schmidt for being this bridge and trusting that we were a faction on the server to RP. Collaborating with this faction was like a breath of fresh air; the alcohol-tasting events, races, meetings, weddings, and public events at their HQ. The Steamboat events would not have been nearly as successful without your support and help. Thank you to LFB for making the cartel feel real and present, particularly to Jelle and Bakmeel. We are grateful for being able to create opportunities with this faction and your existence really allowed the server to be more immersive, allowing us to make meaningful decisions and experience actual repercussions. Thank you to LEO factions (PD/SD/DOC) for the RP opportunities you provided for us. As a beginning criminal faction, we were still learning how to RP with LEO, but as time went on, we needed each other to enjoy our time on the server. I’m sad that the faction had to end because we had many other ideas in the pipeline, but some of the opportunities we created with these factions so far will be some of the most unforgettable. Thank you to Rooks. Our friendship between the factions were slow-burning and genuine, with RP opportunities created all around outside of simply shooting. I wish we could’ve stuck around to continue developing relations and to develop our storylines side-by-side, and I know the RP we would’ve created together as factions would’ve been on another level. This faction has some of the most dedicated members I’ve ever seen. Thank you for showing what good quality RP on the server continues to look like. Thank you to our handlers and staff for your support throughout, with particular thanks to Aldarine, IAmTurtle, and Caesar. Thanks for dealing with us, being responsive, and putting your trust in the faction. As for the past and present faction members, thank you for making the faction what it is today. Several of our members used the faction as a place to have fun during very difficult times, and you should be proud of yourselves and each other. We’ve done all types of RP, from heists at the humane lab, jewellery store, to the aircraft carrier, to successful (and unsuccessful) prison breaks, to going as far as bringing several alternative characters onto the server to enrich our faction’s storyline. The RP we did with this faction truly reached new heights for the server. I’m sorry to the newer members that didn’t get the chance to experience any of this, but I hope all new and old members can carry this mindset into future factions that they join and can foster this type of creativity. Thank you to the commanding founders for making the faction what it is, namely Collie Fegan, Stephen Joyce, Dara Macfadden. Thank you to Isaac Collins and Vince Draco for their involvement as command for the second era of the faction. The faction had an amazing run. T.

- had a point here about ransom situations, but i’ll need to think about it more!

I thought these were basically the rules surrounding hostage situations already to be honest. +1 on creating some rule surrounding DM rights for Hostage takers (unless it’s a fake hostage)... Would definitely add more value to the hostage’s life.

Make it so that when a vehicle is chopped, you have to approach and interact the mechanic to retrieve the money. It doesn't make sense that it instantly becomes people's pocket money. Money can be retrieved by the person that originally chopped (as they are the loyal customer), as well as LEO (under the assumption that the mechanic is pat down by PD under the suspicion of operating a chop shop and finds the cash on him).

Good luck Angelo, got some planned RP opps with Lost MC and looking forward to sharing it with you and your boys in the near future!

NOOOOOOOOOO

Just a suggestion, perhaps 10-15 people is more reasonable.

-1. It's better if prison breaks don't rely on script because it forces people to plan and RP creatively.

Would be helpful. If there’s worries about this being somewhat of a criminal buff (because of radio binds/frequencies being sent out via. mass texts), then maybe consider having a maximum per. group chat, such as up to 5 people.
