no one said anything about nerfing anything but you? PD is OP and should be nerfed but thats a completely different argument and not what this thread is for. You literally said lower acceleration on all cars so its easier for us to catch you..? thats how you word things thats how its perceived from the win mentality you want to keep. If that one comment doesnt show how badly some cops feel about the need to have to catch people then this conversation is pointless This suggestion is that PD needs new rules to keep themselves in check just like crims received but you came in here like you do with every other post regarding PD and tried to validate the actions the PD committed against people. If crims cant be trusted to do certain things and need rules around them PD also needs specific rules to keep them in check.
-
see all the points you made here is to again under leverage crims lets start with each point: theres no reason to reduce acceleration for any car in the game. You do know in real life there is cars faster then police cruisers right? there is also bikes extremely faster then cruisers even highway cruisers cant keep up with some cars and bikes. What they do in real life is call over radio to set a cruiser up at the next exit. They use realistic strategies. Acceleration is not a problem i drive an F620 and while it does get to 240 has one of the slowest accelerations in a car ive ever driven and doesnt effect anything. Not all crims have nice expensive cars/bikes as they cant all afford them. In real life there is different types of gangs right? in real life gangs there is no such thing as a specific vehicle a criminal drives not even a specific type. Maybe in the 90s ''street gangsters'' drove ''hoopdies'' but in todays world even they drive plenty of different types of cars i live in New York City and know blood members who drove 100,000 dollar cars depending on how much a person makes is how realistic their vehicle will be. There is no reason to lower PD salary as they rarely use their own vehicles in chases unless they are one of the few allowed to use a super or drag this was your only point you tried to make that seemed to ''lower'' PDs advantage even though it would do nothing the last 2 points this is still a game and not real life and everyones here to have fun and these changes would just ruin the server as a whole. The problem with PD is they already have all the advantages PD is dying for shoot outs to happen all day just like crims the difference is you come into a shootout with a free gun a free body armor a free car and the hopes to down everyone to lock them up for as long as possible and will complete that goal with no means of realism rather operating like you yourselves were in a gang. Play crim for 3 months join a big gang then tell me how much you enjoy PD's presence and the constant abuse of power forced on them everyday again i get you want to be able to keep your win mentality going and are trying to argue these invalid points but things need to be changed from PD's side and soon not only do you have criminals complaining here but civs and ex cops if that doesnt show you that literally everyone outside of the faction is tired of having to deal with a constant force of power with no reprecussions then i dont know what to tell you. There is a reason so many crims get reported and punishments and bans constantly and you barely see anything for PD and its not because PD has a superior level of RP its because of biased actions and everything some how tying into ''IC problems'' when it comes to PD

Please find me one video in real life where someone who PD is chasing drives on the wrong side of the highway and gets sprayed down mid driving the only time you will see PD shoot in a pursuit is when the person stops or crashes and goes to use force against the police stop trying to justify this shit like the other half of the server who isnt PD is showing their concerns and every cop who came in here either made a joke about the discussion or respond with laughing emotes. in real life you will never see a pursuit end with a truck with a machine gun on it shooting the car out. It doesnt matter if its a 1 time thing it should never be a thing. Thats like arguing i should be able to go to PD and kill a cop i really dont like because its a 1 time thing and i have a reason for it. It again comes down to the feeling of the need to HAVE to catch some one under whatever means necessary which should just be an unacceptable mentality. Sometimes i really want to catch a criminal enemy if i cant just spray them out of their car for no reason you shouldn't be able to either we need to stop with the rules only applying to some people but others can do as they please.

This right here is the problem with the server you literally have legal players who arent even crims responding to this thread saying they even have problems wth PD you guys say your held to a high standard but you're literally not.. You guys tell people you are but we all watch it happen everyday and i know you yourself have seen the amount of non rp situations cops will abuse because they know nothing will happen to them. I understand you dont want your faction to be restricted to more rules then you have already but it is 100% necessary as PD members cant hold themselves accountable for what they do clearly. If you see me on a drag with pajama pants (which dont see how pajama pants are a problem) with an AK on my back chase the shit out of me sure. But when you guys want to use power to force a situation because you ''know'' something or many other examples it kills all RP for crims Another example Jason Steel said he had an investigation against me and found me and arrested me 4 times with force while i complied. pulled me over for ''speeding'' one of the times i sat with my car off and he had 2 swat trucks smash into my car from both sides and had 10 swat members aim carbines at me for a .50 after the 1st or 2nd time when does it become realistic to keep arresting me under the same reasoning it would be almost like a form of NLR now i think Jason Steel is one of the best PD RPers if im being honest but at a a point it gets a little ridiculous where the members just dont care because they know they can do it. We need some form of realism with PD if you want crims to act more realistic as im not going to risk being caught driving something slower or having some fun with you guys when i know you just want to toss me into jail for as long as humanly possible. PD needs to keep in mind plenty of people have jobs, go to school, do other things etc and for you to want to put someone in jail on a game for 3/4/5 hours for trying to have fun you can ruin their whole night or multiple days of play time. Enough is enough with the excuse that its an IC issue

big plus 1 to this literally hate interacting with 75% of cops because the server becomes there power trip where no realistic police actions are taken into account rather its just to win and see how long they can put someone in jail. Also the tazing people through a window should literally just be classed as non rp its become so frequently done that it seems like the norm now you will never see a cop trying to pull over a bike or drive passed a person in real life and taze them tazers dont even work like that to all PD its okay to lose its a game arresting people to just do it does not accomplish anything besides halt rp on your end and the crims end as they are forced to sit in jail for X amount of hours rather then actually being able to RP with others and yourself I think PD needs to be completely relooked and just as crims have gotten new OOC rules for being ''too excessive'' PD needs some new rules to follow as well to keep things in check EDIT: The IA system also needs a rehaul as clearly it is useless and has been talked about being useless for over a year now on another thread

The story starts like many others who have taken up this life, he was broke, didn't know how to make money and trying to find somewhere to fit in. He came into town with nothing but his 2 friends Anthony and Trae they would watch each others backs as best they could but the streets of Los Santos got rough at times and just the 3 of them couldn't always handle what came their way. They attempted to start their own crew and even recruit some people but it ended up not working out as they got into beef with a group called The Rooks on their first day, and they chased them around all day. Looking for something bigger that they could join and call family they reached out to people they met in their few weeks in the city. Mae Ling a person the 3 of them met at their frequent visits to Tequilala to gamble told them of a gang she was apart of called The West Coast Assassins and offered to come meet the group. They were hesitant at first as they never really were apart of a gang before but they took the opportunity anyway and met with the group. The leaders talked with the group and seemed to really show interest on what the 3 of them could do. After talking for around an hour and taking them around to rob some stores they decided to give the group a shot. This would be a spiral into a world the crew would never imagine before filled with bloodshed and battle along with learning the ropes of gun trafficking, manufacturing and distributing narcotics but the crew knew they'd be ready for whatever came their way. Months would pass by as the group of 3 would climb in the ranks of the gang. Sadly a few months into their time in WCA their brother Trae would get deported from the city for months and they would be left with just 2 original members of the group. Having worked as hard as he did for the group Mike would see plenty promotions in his time in WCA reaching the rank of Lieutenant where as Anthony would not fall far behind reaching the rank of Shotcalla. They were two of the most loyal soldiers the group would have following any command our leader gave them. Anthony and Mike decided to make their brotherhood official and became legal brothers with Anthony changing his name to Anthony Laurie. This would be the start of a family name that would be known throughout the city for the criminal activity they have done and eventually the Laurie family would have around 10 people at one time. WCA while being their first gang showed them exactly what they needed to know about the criminal world in the city, they would fight months straight of wars between a large amount of different gangs. For the most part they would come out on top but if there is one thing to learn in this city there is always someone bigger then you and maybe even better then you whether it be another gang or even the cops someone will be there to knock you down at one point. The day that we all knew would come finally came, the day the council declared war on WCA the reasoning seemed odd but they never turned down a war. Having to fight a mass of 3 gangs including the Los Zetas, The Triads and the Aztecas they needed to find some sort of ally and found the Dojin Kai to be there for them, coming out of this alive didn't seem plausible. They fought tirelessly but ended up being defeated and the gang disbanded. Mike was again lost and confused like the first day in the city, having put all this time and work into the gang for months and months and then just having that taken from you by someone is a hard bullet to bite. He would become furious and would spend the next few weeks deciding if it was worth staying in the city or if it was better off just leaving for good. After some talks with the members and leaders of the Dojin Kai and spending some time with them he realized he may be a good asset for their gang at a time of need. He took the remaining Laurie's who didn't leave town for good with him including his two brothers Anthony and Tray Laurie and his son Tayven Laurie and got them situated in this new gang. Once in the gang he received the rank of 3rd in command as the leaders knew him for sometime and after the war they just came out of they knew they could trust his leadership. At his time of joining the Council was collecting tax from the Dojin Kai for joining sides with WCA in the war against them. This was fine but the problem was that the council was still attacking the Dojin Kai. Mike spoke with the council on behalf of Dojin Kai but things never fully were fixed. This made Mike furious and his hatred for council grew even stronger at this point he was determined that he would not stop until the council was completely wiped out. After coming to a neutral standing with council for around a month the news spread around the city like wildfire the Los Zetas were disbanding. The other groups in the city didn't really know what to think as they didn't see a reason for their disbanding. With no intentions to attack anyone from council we sat at the Dojo with our allies Murda block and enjoyed the day as any other listening to music talking with each other etc. Then all of the sudden a group of ex Zetas decides to come and attack Murda block at Dojin Kais HQ. Dojin of course helps Murda block and this would be the start to a week full of one of the biggest fights the city had ever seen. Groups of 20-40 cars spread around the city continuously fighting and it came to the point where the whole city was fighting the council again. This would swiftly come to and end with the ending of the Dojin Kai and Murda block along with the Los Zetas. Things in the city would cool down and Mike again would be left confused on what he could do next, especially with one of his biggest enemies down for good he wanted to continue his journey to completely removing the ''council'' from the city. During his time in Dojin he made an unlikely contact that of someone he once knew being Dmitri the leader of the group called The Rooks. Dmitri would sell guns to Mike when needed during his time in Dojin and would help supply the gang when the council would not. With this in mind Mike took a chance at contacting him to see if he could get a place in the crew and continue his goal of removing council. After some talks Mike got to take his family again with him to a new home in The Rooks. Mike hadn't felt the ''family'' vibe from any of the gangs he joined since WCA and desperately wanted that back. Sadly he knew The Rooks would never give him that feeling as he needed a street gang mentality for that and he wasn't going to get it from this gang. He still made new friends and began feeling comfortable with the group. The group was in an odd position with Ash Volkov basically running things as he had made many enemies in his time in the city and it forced everyone to want to fight our group. Sometimes we would have 7 gangs fighting us at once and things seemed worse then ever from Mike's perspective. While this was happening conflict between these 7 allied gangs began to start and slowly they would see a war forming between these groups. Rumors were spreading that Ash wanted to get in on this war on the Irish side and after a week or two it actually happened. Mike wanted to help rebuild The Rooks as he had faith in their cause, he would start to have meetings with all the gangs in the city and slowly but surely he would help assure that the group was under new management and things were looking bright. Everything comes with a cost though and these relations would start with Mike speaking to someone he never saw himself allying with Oti Maxwell. Him and Oti would talk every few days and Mike offered the Help of the NIC a group he and a few others would make up which would consist of More Blood members and Rook members in the war they were fighting. In exchange Oti had his gang the Gangster Disciples step back from also fighting The Rooks and helped Mike get some meetings with other gangs to fix the other broken relations. The NIC was completely down to fight in this war as the opposition consisted of gangs that were harrasing them for months and they wanted their revenge. Sadly Mike was not the leader of The Rooks and couldn't make all the decisions. Even though the leader almost barely came in town and Mike made most of the decisions for what he felt was in the groups best interest the final words were down to the boss. He wasn't very fond on the groups new look nor the groups involvement in this war. He didn't understand what his gang had been going through for months because he wasn't there to see the abuse they took everyday. After already being a week deep into the war Dmitri pulled the plug on the whole idea and said if any Rook were seen helping fight in this war they would be removed. Once he had heard this remark he felt all his hard work he put into this gang had again poofed out of existence. This time was different though because it wasn't an enemy who caused this feeling but someone from the gang itself. With conflicting ideas Mike decided it would be in his best interest to leave the gang immediately as he wanted to be apart of this war and help get rid of the gang that killed off his original family. Mike would contact Oti and tell him about what had happened and asked if Oti would take him into his gang along with a few others to continue what he had been doing for weeks already. Even with our differences and all the times we had conflict he still agreed and took the members Mike suggested in with him, Mike was able to tell this time around things would be different. Mike would be given the rank of Hustler in GD and would attempt to prove he fit the part. This was the first gang in a while that made Mike feel at home and back to his roots in a street gang even though he was at much better circumstances then the last street gang he was in he still knew how the day to day hustle went like the back of his hand. Many of his original family members would already be in GD and it felt good to be back with them, even though most of the group was made of ex Zeta members he felt no hard feelings towards them as the beef he had with them was in the past and was more of a gang on gang beef then any personal one. The war against the Triads and Irish grew on but he knew no matter what he would complete his goal of taking out the gangs that originally plotted his families demise and it was time for the Triads to get a piece of their own medicine. Mike knew there was plenty of things left to happen for him in Los Santos and this definitely wasn't the end of his story so he would continue to work harder then ever to get shit done.

100% plus 1 a cop shouldn't be able to stack charges on you because you talked shit to them. With this update not only would it expand RP for everyone involved it would give seasoned criminals more fun and possibilities with explaining their case. The multiplied charge time is a little ridiculous with real crimes already costing you 1-6 hours+ but that can be worked out. It would make cops take placing charges serious and would require proof and evidence and if a cop is caught lying/messing up too many charges or cases they should be punished by higher ups. I dont see how anyone on either Crim or Legal side could disagree with this suggestion as it would make more fun for everyone involved rather then cops just slapping charges on someone and not getting anything out of them sitting in jail for x amount of time they can actually prove their case and have fun with it. Where on the other side crims can try to get out of crms or prove themselves innocent and make it a fun process. This an RP server things should be close to realistic but at the same time we should all be able to have fun with it rather then having a play to win mentality where cops actually get excited for sending someone to jail rather then enjoying the RP that was given to them up to the arrest. This idea can expand on that for all parties involved.

great group of dudes hope everything works for you !!

this needs to be fixed asap crims already have enough money sinks on the server with not enough ways to make good money think of this if you get arrested now they even take your phone battery sometimes. I get some of these things are for ooc reasons but if someone breaks rules they need to just be reported every member of the server should be punished. If you get arrested as a crim basically you are paying for a new gun (either pistol or heavy can get more expensive depending what you lose.) you have to pay to get your car impounded which is extremely expensive for most cars now. You have to pay for a new mask, a new phone battery, your accessories, and now recently added to the server gloves. This is already on top of the 1 - X hours you will have to sit in jail and basically afk farm because there at this point is nothing to do in jail and no RP at all. it shouldnt cost a crim 30-100k everytime they go to jail its kind of ridiculous
-
its more about crims wanting other interactions with each other not really just the cooking portion i can guarantee most crirms most memorable moments had something to do with LSD lab which is literally inactive now as there is 0 reason to go there. Gangs don't get to interact with each other other then in awkward hostile manners as we dont have many places to go anymore.

Strange Times : Mike Laurie The WCA had fought long and hard against the council but just as others have fallen before the group followed the same fate. Mike Laurie was left alone lost and confused many of his family members had left the city or found new paths and he couldn't figure out where he would fit in. He knew no matter what he would never go to the councils side as they are the ones who took his family from him. From that point on he decided he would always be on an opposing side from them. Mike found a new family in the Dojin Kai who were close allies with WCA in the war. He was very close with the leaders and they trusted his leadership skills enough to help take charge of the crew. He helped lead for a month or two before the same fate caught up to them and they faced death by council. While spending his time with Dojin Kai he reached out to an old contact from the Rooks the leader named Dmitri, Mike had heard whispers in the wind that the group was still alive and were supplying gangs trying to fight against council. Mike knew he wanted in as he hated nothing more then council. After a few meetings they both realized the business relation could be promising even beyond Dojin Kai. They would be in contact back and forth for a few months with many meetings to discuss what they wanted to see for the city in the future and to go over old stories of how the city used to be. After Dojin disbanded Mike found himself yet again lost on what to do even some of his previous family members all the Irish Laurie's created a new gang called Irish and would hold hands with council something that would make Mike sick to his stomach from betrayal. With a good amount of guns ready he knew he still didn't have a strong enough force with his remaining 3 loyal brothers to take on the council themselves, he decided they needed to join a new group. After asking around and doing some of his own investigating he fell upon an old enemy he once fought, Ash Volkov or as he used to know him Ash Blatniak. After talking for a little bit he decided to give Mike and his family a chance knowing his history. After rolling with the group for a few months he started to get comfortable and was starting to settle in and feel at home again. His input was starting to be heard within the group and he would help everyone grow as a group together. With things changing rapidly in the city everyone had a lot to learn and he was ready to take on whatever task was given to him. He knew one thing though and it was that he would never give up until things went back to how they should be and all gangs could actually enjoy themselves again.

i mean idk then if youve only been to jail once because i know the majority of the triads feel the same way they dont even do banks anymore because its literally pointless and theres no rp involved lol why should crims get a new activity and not even be able to/ want to do it because the risk isnt worth the reward we get 1 new thing in months and we cant even do it makes 0 sense
-
i am a criminal .... im not supposed to have good interactions with PD i expect good RP though which is never given to any crim from any PD
-
you literally never had a real crim character clearly why do cops feel the need to come to these posts and shit on them its just so cops stay OP and keep winning every scenario like if you havent actually played a real crim you dont get it
-
no lol this isnt what happened no one shot you crims walked out holding up the hostage he was in the front with his hands up as soon as he went through the doors everyone was sprayed down by 50 carbines theres literally no RP in that ive been to jail about 50-60 times because i have 1600 hours on my crim char and not one time of being arrested can i tell you i got any RP from the scenario literally just cops trying to win RP so bad then going straight to cuff you and thats it
-
i cant see how you even can say you have experience on both sides as your crim alt was literally in misfits and that was it you probably never got to even fully experience crim for this to be a real conversation you need to have 2 well known chars one on PD and one Crim at least a main crim as our RP is literally ruined by PD every day because they literally only want to win
-
bro theres no other way to do banks we arent allowed to have hostages due to server rules and one of the times we had hostages in the beginning y'all sprayed them all down as soon as they stepped outside. Without a real crim character you cant have an opinion on this as you're fine with the win RP you get from being PD you guys dont understand the struggle of trying to make money as a crim or move as a crim literally. Use banks since you made that an example tell me another way to go about it where theres 1 entrance and 1 exit and as soon as the safe opens cops are alerted within 2 mins 10 plus cops are outside your probably still just breaking through the door inside the safe youre forced to shoot cops because some just literally wont rp they are focused on how long they can make someone afk in jail and ruin their day lets remember this is a video game when one side gets everything for free and the other has to grind hours to get things that get taken by someone who gets stuff spawned for them in a few minutes just to spend 3 plus hours in jail in ill repeat a VIDEO GAME some people have jobs go to school etc you realize some people have to sit in jail for 2 days worth of play time straight just literally doing nothing as it is the most boring rp in the world in other communities police let crims have fun as it gives them fun here it just seems all cops want to do is win and ruin peoples days
-
+1 i think more people should look at this suggestion as it would have a huge impact on criminal RP we need more things to do in general
-
+1 this just over complicated half the things on the server

The Transition Michael Laurie had a strange month. His family WCA was gone the war was fought long and hard from both sides and it ended in the gang disbanding to keep its pride. He was lost the months of work and dedication he provided among others was gone in an instant. For the first week or so he considered leaving the city for a bit to take a break and work on himself and maybe try something other then the criminal life. He realized he couldn't do that and had to keep not only his story going but wanted to keep the legacy of what his family brought to this city. For a while he wasn't sure what he was going to do and how he would continue being a criminal and actually enjoy it. After coming into the city just to hang out he decided to go up north to paleto to hang out with his friends and war allies the Dojin Kai. After some talks he realized that the gang respected what he did during the war and wanted him to join their family. He wasn't sure at first as it was a completely different lifestyle then he was used to but eventually he decided its where he would feel most comfortable. After talking with the leaders his good friends for some time now they wanted him to take a position in the group that would be named Honbucho. Being a higher role in the group it came with certain requirements which the group new he was fully capable of handling. The group knew the way Michael ran things with the boys in green and wanted some of those attributes added to their own gang and tasked him with helping with that. In the beginning he did feel like the odd man out as what he knew for the past 8 months was the only thing he ever knew in this city. After hosting some events for the group and getting to know them even better he felt confident that with some adjustments he could call this his new home. The group was very welcoming and respectful to him and that's all he really could ever ask for and appreciated how great things were going. He started to hold lessons where he would teach some of the members old and new the things he learned throughout his long journey as the Lieutenant of one of the biggest gangs in the city. He wanted to be able to spread not only his own knowledge but the things he learned from all the great leaders and members he once was surrounded by. Even though it was over he was happy that he could help his new family grow stronger. Things were going to be different but he was now a proud member of The Dojin Kai and would do anything and everything he could to strengthen his family just as he did before. The Transition would be long and hard but it's something he was willing to put hard work and effort into as he believed the family deserved it.

Council War We all knew this day would come and we of course were prepared for it. With the help of Dojin Kai on our side we were to face Zetas, Triads and NLA all at once, this would be the biggest war the gang had to face to date but we were prepared for it. We have fought every gang that has came into this city over the past year and were not about to give up no matter how many people we had to face. With continuous fights of 40 of us fighting over 100 men morale was still at an all time high we knew we weren't going anywhere. The fights were hard as they would hold down grove street in bushes and backyards but we wouldn't let them hold our home down without a fight like others have in the past. The other side made believe we were friends until they were finally ready and confident they could take us out, we would never forget this as it was a betrayal of trust with some and a complete backstab from others especially NLA. This would be the first war of many between us and the Council but they should remember that this would be the biggest mistake they will have ever made....
