  1. This is really out of hand and you all need to stop discuss about the topic posted or make your own threads to argue about who’s dick is bigger and who had less cheaters or less toxic people. You guys are ruining the attempt to change something for the better on the server by making the arguments about yourselves rather then the topic... it’s corny and childish. Be adults and argue somewhere else.
  2. Can y’all both save the arguing for outside of this thread and maybe in PMs as we should try to keep the convo on topic with suggestions and ideas rather then back and forth that just bogs the actual conversation down. It’s useless from both sides and isn’t contributing to making the server better at all.
  3. This idea is great I just want to add that if this does happen PD needs to be scaled down to the size they were a year or two ago because at this moment it's almost impossible to do even small crimes with many groups it will be even harder when your backup is 6 people. Smaller gangs should be able to rob stores without 30 cops pulling up on them. If everyone follows these new rules and PD becomes not only a realistic size again, but follows realistic RP (Such as not always driving a super car or having a carbine and a micro equipped just because) Then the server as a whole will move in a better direction. If we are going to get rid of the toxicity from one side this year lets remove it from all sides and make the game more enjoyable for all!
  4. 100% would love to see this we’ve needed this for a while now
  5. With the holiday's coming fast in the week many people flew out of town to enjoy them with their families in other places. Death Row was going great becoming friendly with other groups and getting business done on many levels including signing new artists and renting out apartments and houses for others in the city. We thought the week would be pretty quiet with barely anyone in town, but someone is always their to mess with you at any time. Most of Death Row members didn't always carry a weapon on them as it wasn't needed, but when Mike was told that his members were being robbed by other gangs he had to question who did it and why. This is when he learned members of the TRCC or Clowns were robbing his members for no apparent reason. Mike didn't like hearing this as he took it as people trying to make his group look weak because they have only been seen on the legal front. Mike Approached Jay and a few others that he trusted in the group and asked what they thought would be the best course of action with this problem as with his experience in the city he wasn't going to take shit from anyone. After a long talk it was decided we would work with the Aztecas, LFM and other gangs who were fighting clowns as we would not take shit from anyone. The problem with the Clowns was that it was effecting our legal operations as it's not easy to do business with people when randomly you get pulled up on and get your pockets snatched. This was another reason Mike and Jay were upset as it was hurting their pockets and you never mess with another mans pockets. Mike realized from his long time in the city that if you're going to be fighting people you need some type of symbol that shows what group you're with and he knew exactly what they needed to use. Mike decided they would take up the color orange as their was no other group using it and it was easily distinguishable from the enemy and our allies. Mike and Jay would pick out a specific car color that they thought best fit the group. Mike didn't want to have his group in colors this early on as he wanted to grow his legal businesses first but he knew he would have to do it to keep the record label and other businesses alive. After talking with his allies they were glad to have Death Row join up and help in the fight. Mike had everyone change their car color and clothes and began looking for the group who was harassing them days prior. Mike entrusted a few people to grab recruits for the group and the group was slowly but steadily gaining members over the past week. Thankfully most of the new members didn't need to be taught the basics and they loved what the group was doing. Mike got a call from Drain telling him to come meet him at the pier he had someone he wanted Mike to meet. Mike and Jay went and met up with the new face and he told them how he was interested in joining. Mike decided to give him a chance and let him prove himself throughout the night. He was able to do exactly that over the radio with the other groups and proved to Mike that he would be a solid fit business wise and conflict wise.
  6. The day started out like any other Death Row was working on new music deals and trying to find new talents. Mike was chilling in the studio when he got a call from Pops, Mike answers the phone and Pops starts the conversation by saying ''Yo, did you see this shit Weazel News is making reports about?'' Mike was confused because he really never kept up with Weazel reports as he didn't believe in the bullshit media. Mike told Pops to just come to the studio and explain to him in person what ended up happening and how it effected them and then hung up the phone. After Mike met with Pops he understood the severity of the problem, Weazel was blasting out news reports attacking gas station owners and demanding for the gas prices to be lowered. Little did this reporter know that Mike and Pops were the main reasoning for the gas prices raising in the city and that made up the majority of their income these days. Mike and Pops needed to formulate a plan on how to fix the situation before the whole city turned on them, and that they did. They decided to get the group together and go over the plan with them. The plan was simple we would kidnap the reporter Travis Rashguard and make sure he understood we weren't the type of people he wanted to fuck with. We set up the teams accordingly and made sure we had someone who was close to Travis set him up so he wouldn't be expecting it. That person would be Liam Chase one of the best in the company, he called Travis to come meet with him and the plan was a go. The kidnap group went to change their clothes and masks to hide their identity and leave no trace back to Death Row as a whole. They would go meet with Travis, zip-tie him and throw a bag over his head so he couldn't see where he was going. Everything seemed solid until something they didn't plan for happened, Travis wasn't alone and actually was accompanied by the owner of Weazel News. The plan still went through flawless with the group also holding up Seth and leaving him zip-tied in a hidden area. Once Travis was with our kidnapping team he was quickly zip-tied up and the bag went on without a hitch, he knew these were people he shouldn't be fucking with. While they were in route Mike and Pops waited at the location talking over what they planned on demanding from Travis. They decided they were going to tell him that he had to make a new story blaming the raising gas prices on the government rather then the owners themselves. Once the kidnapping team arrived at the location with Travis they quickly brought him inside and unmasked him. Travis was met with the masked kidnappers and Mike and Pops standing in front of him with AK-47s, he knew he fucked up bad. Mike and Pops came out of the shadows and confronted Travis about what he did. They explained that his new stories have effected their sales on gas and that it was hurting their pockets. They were being very serious but Travis seemed to take the whole thing as a joke. They ended up getting Travis on his knees and again calling Liam over with a knife. Liam is instructed to take his finger off to show that we are more then serious about the conversation. Travis starts to realize he should have taken us more serious from the start and begins to comply with the demands he is given. He is told he has 5 days to make a story amending the bad business he sent our way. Travis is told if he does not comply that he will be killed while he gets an AK into the back of his neck. He is thrown a rag to hold over his finger and again is zip-tied and has the bag thrown over his head. He is escorted back to the truck and left where he was found, hopefully this will be the last run in needed for him to get the point. The next day the group is feeling in the Christmas spirit, with Mike talking to Purm they decided to give back to the community. They both grabbed $100,000 each and got changed into some Christmas attire. They decided to go to the studio and get some ads from Weazel News letting people know to come on down for a Christmas gift from Santa. Many people ended up coming through and enjoyed the great gifts the group was giving. After a while Pops ended up coming through as well, he suggested we call over one of our signed artists Sean to come sing some Christmas songs while we gave out gifts. Sean answered the phone and was excited to come through and play some new songs he learned. Once Sean arrived things really started kicking off and a decent sized crowd ended up gathering around to listen and enjoy the Christmas spirit.
  7. Instead of us sitting here using this thread to complain about us losing shootouts in game and how its ''unfair'' that gangs ally we should be using this thread to point out how poor crim RP has become. I personally became tired of being scared to rob an enemy gang member or even a random criminal because of OOC rules and I'm sure all of you have as well. We should be looking at the overall aspects of why crims aren't enjoying their time on the server anymore. To me it seems you aren't allowed to have beefs with gangs anymore and it shows simply that every single fight or aggression against another gang seems to end with FM questioning why it happened. Since when did this server become a place that you complain to staff every time you lose a fight? My personal idea to fix crim RP is that rules need to be reworked and suited to not deny crims RP. If lets say for instance I was in Aztecas which is obviously one of the strongest groups on the server and someone in lets say goblins comes and disrespects me or tries to rob me or whatever the case is. Why is that not enough reasoning to have a reaction to that group? Why are you only allowed to do something to that player and not the group they represent? Last year if you were in a gang and you talked shit to lets say the Zetas theyd come and fuck your gang up. Now? you cant even rob people you have weeks of conflict with unless you find them at a lab. which hear me out NO ONE USES LABS THEY WERE MADE USELESS WITH THE NEW PORTABLE LABS. I also agree with some of the new rule changes that were just added especially that their shouldn't be groups whos only purpose is to login grab a gun and shoot people but lets not make believe that that is how all the factions with handlers act. I feel like that is a small majority of players and the ones who have handlers or are official showcase plenty of RP but all that is focused on is the shooting aspect of things and not their groups overall rp. I can tell you personally I've had so many crim players tell me they either don't wanna play this server anymore or actually just quit all together and these are players that actually have the best RP on this server. Someone needs to stop and realize criminal players are the only ones actually making RP look at our forum threads I don't see legal factions making their own RP up all day. They basically follow a script for their RP and do the same things over and over and over again. If the server is going to turn into a place where crims just aren't allowed just say it now and you will save a lot of people the effort of trying to make the server enjoyable for crims again. Just realize that the crim player base is the majority of the active players on this server and the more rules that get added restricting them or the more FM tells players everything they are doing is wrong or they arent allowed to fight a certain gang people will stop coming around sooner or later. I suggest you allow all crim faction leaders/higher ups and even get some older experienced crims in a meeting with NBDY and Osvaldon and let them hear how more then half their playerbase is unhappy right now. Having Cops dictate rules for crims makes no sense what so ever and the server owners need to take over and see how players have been unhappy the majority of this year. It's upsetting to me to see a server I loved so much a year ago turn into what its turning into where all the people ive met are gone or have gone to PD because its just impossible to RP as a crim anymore. KEEP THINGS IN CHARACTER THIS IS A RP SERVER WHERE YOU PLAY A CHARACTER STOP ASKING PEOPLE WHY THEY ARE DOING THINGS WHEN THEY DONT BREAK A RULE IT SHOULD BE THAT GROUPS DECISION TO START CONFLICTS AND END THEM NO ONE ELSES.
  8. Death Row Records, an American record label founded in 1992 by Suge Knight, Dr. Dre, The D.O.C and Dick Griffey. The label was a huge success, releasing multi-platinum hip-hop albums by West Coast based artists, like Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur. At its height, Death Row Records was making over $100 million a year after tax. With the fall of Suge and the departure of Dre and Snoop from the label, the company filed for bankruptcy in 2006. After being bought out at an auction the company and it’s masters were sold to WIDEawake Entertainment for $18 million at the start of 2009. Meanwhile the Death Row Incorporated founders were just beginning their entrepreneurial careers. Jay Russo was hustling the streets of London, placing large deals together for international clients, both legal and illegal. From helping Arabs find property in Kensington and Chelsea, to helping the Sinaloa Cartel ship in mass amounts of cocaine into Europe. His connection inevitably lead him to the criminal underbelly of Los Santos after a few months of finding his feet, he was put in touch with Mike Laurie, a somewhat notorious business man who originated from Grove Street, his hood ways brought him up with his brothers in a notorious Los Santos gang named West Coast Assassins. After the family broke up, Laurie moved onto a business empire who went by the name of “The Rooks”, this is where Laurie and Russo combined together to help the organization out at it’s failing times. With time, they both parted ways with “The Rooks”, when they were contacted by a good friend of Laurie's, Oti Maxwell, who invited them into what seemed like a permanent home. Gangster Disciples was extremely beneficial for the pair as businessmen and as outright criminals. The duo became notorious around the city, running up on local Irish mobs and infiltrating Triad shipments from their suppliers. Unfortunately, what they knew as home had to come to an end, with Maxwell being charged with triple homicide and awaiting trial for a life sentence, the family slowly took to other endeavors during his departure. With the notorious criminal enterprise known as Gangster Disciples closing their Los Santos chapter, smaller gangs and organizations began to thrive. Mike and Anthony Laurie, were vacationing in Turks and Caicos, Russo and his friend Rafi Leib were doing a 12 year sentence for kidnapping of government employees. Their sentence was cut short when the government employee’s story changed in favor of Russo and Leib, which had nothing to do with a wire Michael Laurie sent from his offshore account located in Cayo Perico. Fresh out of prison the four united back in Los Santos, with only around $10 million left between them, they began brainstorming ideas, Anthony Laurie, found a business auction for the company Death Row Records. All being fans of 90’s hip hop, they thought it would be a great front for their criminal enterprise. Big-time criminal conspirators will utilize shell corporations to do the heavy lifting and help create a corporate web of disguise that can perplex and confuse the best of investigators. Shells can come in different shapes and sizes, and the jurisdiction in which they reside can help further the concealment. Some fraudsters create shell companies for single uses and then discard them. Or they may use them repeatedly and have them change hands multiple times. They also may form "shelf companies" and not use them for a period of time. A shelf company has a better chance of appearing legitimate and fooling a novice investigator or basic due diligence mechanisms because it appears to have existed longer than it really has. An older shelf could predate any specific areas of concern, which would allow it to engage in business activities when it otherwise shouldn't. Death Row Incorporated, could be considered a shelf company, depending on who the reader is. Founded in 2020 by Jay Russo and Michael Laurie, the company was built to hold their prized record label, Death Row Records, their escrow services Death Row Escrow and hidden deep inside this perplex web would be the criminal organization Death Row. With the record label being the main focus of the public eye, the same could not be said for the escrow service or the strong arm of the group, Death Row. Death Row Incorporated would be the centerpiece of the plan and the home to the slew of legal and illegal businesses it would attempt to grow to be the biggest business inside of Los Santos one that at one point should be able to almost run itself. Death Row Records, holding their prize possession, the masters from the 90’s Hip Hop classics from several Artists albums. They had to push forward and find new artists and take over the modern day streaming platforms, whilst the old masters still generate a large amount of revenue, it is important that in the eyes of the law they can uphold an actively operating record label. The record label will be mainly looking for people in Los Santos to sign to the label as well as attempting to start a new era of music videos inside of the city for the biggest groups around and even new groups who want to show themselves to everyone in the city. Once a proper new studio is purchased by the company in Los Santos the best of the best will want to come in and test the equipment out. Death Row Escrow, a legal/illegal middleman service, providing peace of mind for anyone to trade their assets with another individual. Worried about scammers? There’s a lot of them in the city, Death Row Escrow, will make sure every deal is done without hassle to any of the people involved. The company will not be biased whether a criminal or a legal worker wants to get a deal done every customer is welcome. Want to sell your property? Our brokers will hold the buyers cash in one of our bank accounts, and it will be released to you as soon as the asset is signed over to the buyer. This prevents both sides from being scammed. Death Row Escrow will also be middlemen for the criminal underworld whether it be for guns, drugs or anything in between. Our Death Row Escrow employee’s guarantee a non biased service, regardless of what is happening outside the deal, the circumstances of the city, nothing comes between our employees and business. Death Row would be the criminal organization that would be hiding inside this string of businesses. Not all members of Death Row Incorporated would be apart of the gang but the members who were inside of the company who were apart of the gang would be holding it down as the strong arm for the business. Try to fuck over a business deal? Death Row will come and show you why it wasn't in your best interest. The gang will be comprised of your average people they could be video editors for the company, they could be that guy you trust everyday to middleman your deals, you wouldn't know. The Death Row members will be set up as security for the company and its assets and truly make sure they are never fucked with. This group will also be in charge of moving weapons and drugs to keep the legal and illegal side of thing separate. With all that sh*t being surface level, the real criminal underbelly lies within their shipping routes. When owning an escrow company, it is of foremost importance that you are able to receive an asset from anywhere in the world. Whether it is a one of one Truffade Nero, being imported from the middle east for a Vinewood Director, or if Carlos & Alicia *REDACTED* order a crate of 5.56 ammunition straight from the Ukraine. The founders of Death Row Incorporated made sure they had the shipping routes ready for whatever was needed. The main focus for the group is to eventually be able to use these businesses to their advantage to run the biggest supply/distribution of illegal items the city has ever seen while staying under the government radar. Don't let anyone fuck with the business Get deals done no matter the cost Never scam anyone, business is what makes you your money Don't work with police ever Family comes first Don't let anyone know how much money you have Don't let anyone know your next move Don't trust anyone but the family itself Keep business and relationships separate, business always comes first Always follow command, they know best Acquire a property to hold the Record Label in Sign our first artist to the label Start a client base for the Escrow service Recruit a strong steady member count for the group as a whole Record and produce music videos that entertain all of Los Santos Maintain good relations with the big groups of Los Santos Maintain a regular supply of drug paraphernalia and weaponry to supply to the people of Los Santos Attempt to acquire a private jet to meet with offshore bankers and private investors Credits to: Jay Russo - Writing and Editing Michael Laurie- Writing and Editing Rafi Leib & Lauren Baker - Graphics
