Most of LEO players do paperwork and not sit AFK, we choose to be tabbed out rather than log out of the server and do paperwork as it is still our IC duty, and we should get paid for that. Every time you speed through us and get into traffic stop we fill a shit ton of information about you which takes time. To be fair 90 members of LEO fill out more paperwork than IRL whole my city's police department. Commenting about labs, I agree this pushes RP to be more PVP based rather than actual criminal life. Many new players will be robbed there and lose everything and I can guarantee they won't learn anything new about the server and will decide to leave. Without a crew and 10 mils worth of cars and guns you will get raided in a matter of minutes by some Lithuanian clapper gang in warreners.

I get constant FPS drops with my laptop due to the trees after playing for an hour. Drops from 120FPS to 30FPS, it becomes unplayable.

Yes! We need it, most of the time when medics are not around PD/SD do not see medical calls, and later we get message that someone has fallen in coma. +1

If this was implemented as a script then yeah it would be better, but rules, rules do not matter when gangs come across cops, we always see breaches every day, so script would be wiser thing to do. But main problem is with hunting, yesterday we had a guy trying to hunt/bait us multiple times again even if it is non-rp, people would be still doing that and causing problems. I do not want to respond to calls with a shotgun drawn because of fear of being hunted down.

Hello, I am going to share my opinion/experience here. I have been playing PD/SD character for 2 years now, and I can tell one thing. If implemented people are going to go after us, we have multiple situations every day when people just try to kill us. If you knew how many times a new player when arriving at the scene tries to stab officers you would be surprised, and image that player now gets a gun from us because stabbing most of the time kills you instantly. You will get a rogue new player with shotgun and pistol in his hands. And this is not against new players, this week so far I had two incidents with known players trying to kill me for nothing that would make RP sense. To share another experience this week, we had a person who baited us all the time (literally baited) and tried to go immediately up the mountain and towards the drug location (most likely an ambush), player tried this whole day, I think initiated 7 pursuits of this kind. So, I can imagine what would he do if he knew that he can get a gun from us.... Plus, LEO would not go out of the station during morning hours when we get most of the shootouts due to gangs being active, and we get into fights 15v2. I know I shared a lot here, but it's just to understand our point of view. Respectfully,

Hi, I will provide my answer as an officer in game who does not play crim alt and has only PD view on these things. Most of the time (let's say pursuit happens), criminals have only 4 type of cars which are Issi sport, BF400, Shinobi, Paragon, and already kills that pursuit vibe you were speaking about, because it's already stale RP for us as officers knowing that they would escape as we do not have anything to catch up in time. Then let's say we are lucky, and you spin out while driving a car, or we PIT you, and immediately go for box maneuver, most of the criminals would always try to turn engine on even hitting a wall 200 km/h and under gunpoint where everyone screams their demands, this happens all the time and is really frustrating with all NON-RP crashes. As I believe others mentioned felony evasion is a serious crime, and we deal with it as being serious, furthermore I would like to add that gang affiliated vehicles are known to have backup waiting somewhere, so we deploy bigger guns to counter their possible attacks (by my patrol statistics 7/10 pursuits end up in a shootout) and when you try to do something stupid when we have guns in our hands you get shot, you try to take a weapon out - you get shot, you try to run over an officer - you get shot. I am not defending any side, but I provided a non-biased POV from my side as an officer on server.

I believe this system was used due to the fact that the Bank was one of the main places people used to meet and chill. Now the bank became just a place to take money from, and you can't find the RP we used to get there. I believe bank should pay directly either to bank account or be open permanently. As I mentioned, it used to be a place where everyone would come together to wait for it to be opened and connections were made there. Now we have events, pier and other places, so the bank lost its role in this community.

-1 from me, when I first came to this server, robberies were a common thing, you could get robbed at the store, bank, mining area. This will lead to the same issue.

+1, I believe this issue is mostly with ''morning'' players, when MD is not around and there are 2-3 PD units including myself on duty, I think this would help community out as now we cannot see calls all the time (I think so, because I can't see MD calls to be fair).

True, but what I am saying that most of the officers (including me) charge for base things, and when thinking deep you can charge with any charge you want and walk unpunished as officer. We are judge, jury and officers at the same time when charging.

This is not true as I am in PD, and I am not the highest ranking officer to be honest, but 90 out of 100 POI - POIII, never charge more than it's necessary, personally me and a few other cops (as I am playing mornings) never put more than felony evading if you evade us, today we had a guy with outstanding warrant of felony evasion, he evaded again, we did not put any more charges. Most of the officer do not overcharge as we understand that it takes time to sit there in DOC for criminals.

One crime does not give such a debt. As senior support said, don't evade and shoot at cops every day, people in this server are used to just shoot and evade, go 200 around the streets collecting tickets and reckless operations. Then proceed to cry on forums about being broke in game. On government website I have found that murder charge gives you the highest fine of 14.000, it is not even near 30-40k you mentioned, so I guess his charges consisted of going around and shooting, evading, going on the streets 200 and collecting those fines. It does not work like that, prison might be another case, never understood why it is, so limiting knowing that people have to literally sit behind bars IRL and IG for 4 hours. Like getting pulled over while drunk IRL and getting detained eats the same amount of time. Responding to original post, I would say that making sentences shorter will make this server go insane. This is not one of those servers where people follow traffic, drive cars which are not (elegy, comet and BF400), and not having real RP like Grove Street Block gangs going to Paleto or Vinewood to rob ?? WTF?? Where is the RP and how a gang can rob a bank if it's not a mob or organized crime family??? This would make the server even harder to play for PD, as we already get shot at more and more and people evade us 25 times a day. So, every 30 minutes people would go out of jail, rob a store, evade, then repeat. I do not believe making sentences shorter would help. It would help to make prison more interactive, like poker which was mentioned (because obviously criminals IRL smuggle things inside) and, making something like plates, cleaning etc. (which would give small salary when going out of prison).

Ohhh no no no, all I am saying that as you can see cops sometimes open fire in situations that are literally dangerous to themselves or any other civilian.

I am just saying, that things might have escalated that's why PD used force, sometimes it happens. But all in all, as part of PD, I don't believe we use it a lot. Sometimes I have seen officer or deputies using overall too much force, but can't really judge as I had made mistakes myself. Be advised for graphic content, but this is what happens when you act aggressive or disregard what is being said to you from PD.

I can tell you that this type of driving is considered to be public endangerment, so police should use lethal force to avoid possible casualties across the whole city. But this is my first time as PD officer seeing someone getting shot without a warning or anything, so maybe you showed them aggression before video was taken ? (Just a question, no offense intended)

I believe our policy of shooting in PD is too liberal compared to Real Life, there were times when DOC used policies of guards having to be nice to everyone even if you are getting attacked or knifed, this was an issue, and if we follow the same path with PD, it's going to be madness, you forget one thing that most officers IRL and in game here are not really trained to deal with suspects having guns or not, I remember a guy did animation of pulling a gun or something on me and my partner, he got shot immediately. In my country cops say one phrase ''First you shoot, then tell them to surrender'' and watching Youtube like MrSassy (If you are not 18 years old be advised on graphic content there) you can see that LA cops shoot you even if you are unarmed and trying to run away or act aggressive towards them. Getting answers for appeals or simply appealing is hard and lengthy process. This community is not what it used to be when I joined, server is getting lower in numbers everyday, yesterday we did not have even hit 170 players in the evening (and its not covid, xmas or any other thing we can make up, another community I was looking at for research part had 700 players), so we need to make decisions and fast.

I was told that we should not go into IRL situations ''We're not going to get into the slippery slope argument of "IRL would be the same" for semantics '' and got punished with IRL assumptions... ''Realistically this street is populated, as are the buildings around it.'' So, it is kinda funny no ?

True, after I got punished with another officer for shooting in the streets where we were justified to do so (not going to go into details), now I am going to report every gang or shooting activity, because what admin told us is that shooting in the streets is unrealistic, so be it any gang member shooting in the street should get NON-RP punishments as well because there would be police around. As I am a victim myself at this point of inconsistency (Not saying anything bad against admins), I have seen a lot of reports like I was involved in being denied, nevertheless my partner and I got a handful of punishments.

Man, if you say that PD can't organize their shifts then ask MD, DCC, DOC, SD the same question, all factions have a period in the day when they don't have enough units to cover things. I should be angry that I am doing MD job when I am the only one in duty on so called ''morning shift''. You can see that a lot of PD members resigned and most of them had one and same reason, they didn't have enough time, so you will force us to go on shift when I should be sleeping or working just for you to shoot at us and evade with BF400 up the mountain ? I don't think so. EDIT: Come over to rob a bank at 5am yourself, why we should stay without RP patrolling the city ?

I have one Metagaming punishment which happened 2 years ago, I am more than afraid to invest time into my character, and it's career in PD, because I feel that one mistake or power hungry person can make my 3 years of playing disappear and waiting for ban appeal 6 months for admins to even consider unbanning me is not realistic at all. I believe it should be something like degrading of punishment in server as this would bring back our player base a little more (Cause don't lie to ourselves it's smaller than it was last year). Likewise, I have seen many players I have played before with getting banned for rule breaks where others didn't, and this makes me question if I am not going to be another one. There should be a strategy from administration, as now there is only fear among some players to pursue role-play. I had one incident where one player wrote PM to me asking if he's going to get punished and was stressing out as he told someone to /o save POV, he was literally so stressed that he's going to be punished even tho he was right in that situation as he got DM'ed, but this shows the fact that administration is feared for their bannhammer rather than respected for good choices. And I know I am going to get those talks that I am disrespecting administration, but I am not, I am senior marketing manager in real life and I know how administration, product (at this point server) need to promote its self for their clients, who are at the moment afraid that they are going to lose their role-play and everything they played for. Plus further as we go gang activity started decreasing as being gang member ban chance is higher than being a police officer for the same rule break. I know those people who come to pier start shooting everyone then writes ''FUCK EC'' and makes a video praising themselves on YouTube, these are people we don't need. But there are people (experienced) who made a few NON-RP mistakes, got reported and got banned, but how did they make it that far ? They create RP even with NON-RP side, most of their RP was good, and they were part of player base.
