  1. If a cop intends to arrest you then you do have DM rights on all the cops that are in the area unless they surrender. Hunting them down while they drive off/run is obviously seen as Non-RP but that's because it's something that does not happen in real life so it's seen as very unrealistic. You chose the wrong paragon here because cops are more vulnerable to getting shot out of the blue just because they are cops and they are obligated to arrest dangerous individuals. Street gangs really do start conflicts and kill each other for the dumbest shit so even if the reason for starting the shootout is objectively seen as idiotic, it is realistic. I agree that you should not shoot at someone that hasn't shown intention to be part of the conflict and we can see that they are shooting at people that are running away. At the same time, however, "roleplay scenarios are dynamic" and armed gang members can be seen as a threat after you just gunned down their leader. Keep in mind that some of the members did retaliate and pulled out their weapons, showing the intention to join the fight. You will have more chances of not getting shot if you raise your hands instead of staying still in the middle of a shootout like you don't know what's going on.

  5. This sounds like something taken out of a minecraft server. You're basically asking for mini warehouses. You want storage? Buy an RV. It's basically the same thing you are talking about but it has wheels, occupies a vehicle slot and doesn't eliminate the risk factor. If you want to eliminate the risk, get a truck and park it at the parking lot but you will have less storage. Also I don't see how something like this would "bring life" to an area; maybe robberies. People will use it to store stuff and I imagine most of it would be illegal.
  6. Sounds like a you problem. Probably takes like an hour to get in contact, pay and have access to your rented house at peak server time.

  15. +1 I think it should be added on the doors that must be picklocked in the bank and more items that can be used or stolen such as water bottles, car speakers, etc Water bottles have the "Check" option to see how much water is inside but I believe that the whole server just reads the % shown in the inventory to check the capacity. The "check" option could be used for fingerprints.
  16. I believe an animation with a 5-10s timer would be enough to allow people to react
  17. NOW AVAILABLE Bridge St. 4 Olive-colored medium-sized house in Mirror Park with big yard, driveway big enough for 2 cars and 2-car Garage. The house is not split in two, meaning you can be the owner of the whole property. The main entrance is on the south side. Contact #285 4897 for details.
  18. The script has to be modernised or reworked to remove certain advantages that can be easily abused. Thing is /factionloadout is certainly not the first on the list. By revamping it and adding limit to kevlars per day or week and modernising it, you would see a lot less abuse and more realism but it's not easy work. Same for F4 and a limit to cruisers, damage, budget reductions / damage (that can be backed up by traffic collision reports or incident reports so you don't lose money) but it's a lot of work.
  19. It's the same thing for leaving vehicles on any other spawn point such as the ones at the legion square parking lot. You should not leave them where they can block spawn points.
  20. If there is evidence that it was you then you did it wrong. If there isn't any then you did it right. We cant push charges if we don't know or can't prove it was you. It ain't that deep. I don't see why we should rely on OOC rules any further with the amount of crimes (especially robberies and murders) that go unsolved. Each and every player on the server should have a high RP standard when it comes to car crashes, not just cops. That's not gonna happen tho. Why would a cop be weaker than the average human being? Sadly 99% of the players will RP injuries only when they have to: when they are scriptly injured. Every time someone gets shot down they find the time to talk shit in VOIP like nothing happened while they RP bleeding out and dying. You gotta give good RP to get good RP. I wish there was some kind of balanced solution that stops cops from spawning cars when something doesn't go their way. We have to deal with bugs just like you do but the amount of people that do /delcruiser and respawn it cause they fucked it up in 5 mins of taking it out is frightening. I can see from the replies that for the most part you are on a different page so I hope me and all the people that replied clarified your doubts. P.S.: It is Non-RP to refill your kevlar without RP (such as having a spare one in the trunk which you previously RP-ed putting in there) as this report shows
