the time in prison isnt the issue its the fact that after serving that time the tickets are still there however you idea makes sense because its like an Attachment of earnings demand on a debt so when you collect your wages you get a deduction for tickets untill they are paid

i found it particularly realistic when 3 cops came out of nowhere while i was being robbed and shot ME and then proceeded to have the EMTS look after the two criminals first while leaving the victim (Me) bleeding out having full knowledge that THEY shot me Murica xD

If you cant afford the tickets then you should do your time in jail instead, not both thats just dumb also the tickets are way too expensive, i mean i get it for a high end player whos got loads of cash but for new players and people living off there government cheques 2000 is way too much per ticket and the jail system being shite atm is really not our fault is it? i mean if i cant pay then i go to jail and thats payment enough surely? not spend ages in jail not earning money then having to come out and still have the tickets so get arrested again, cant earn money, get out, still got the same tickets...arrested again...just a bad cycle

Also being one of the people who has mentioned this is other threads im glad to see it getting its own space however the point stands that the prison system is horrendous. The fact it is already so long and boring turns people too crime, id rather kill and run from cops to avoid spending 25 minutes in there nevermind 8 freaking hours. Than to properly RP an arrest. When i first joined i was involved in some splendid RP with a couple coppers and even a rookie ride along when i was caught stealing. As a first offender and a normally upstanding citizen i was treated no differently and given almost the max time in prison and it nearly killed me IRL It made me a fully fledged crim who will do whatever it takes to avoid going back to that hellhole. I get prison is a punishment but it should be IC punishing my guy not IRL punishing me especially if its a legit RP situation thats put me there.

yea but i see his point about the license? ive got a license but i dont buy my guns from stores, ive been checked and let go by police because i have a license and im fairly new, so if the licence fee was higher and the PD had more stop and search powers (and more staff) they would catch more people with illegal firearms and the risk of getting gun happy would go way down. However while i abhor RPless KOS stuff i do like a well RP'd interaction especially a robbery so its not the robbery itself that is the issue its the execution of said robbery? for which there are reports and proper channels to follow You see the IDs, you can SS or film it and pass it on and it will be dealt with? failing that i suggest you be less of an arsehole magnet? i mean ive been robbed but never once at a gas station oddly enough maybe im just lucky lol ive certainly never been robbed 3 times in a day

ive seen admin messeges pop up that do state cars will be moved to Mors if left outside the bank (or other NCZ), i assume thats why your car is moving? The NCZs arnt designed for you to safely park your car and log out

I think the shops need to be changed, This is based on GTA and Los Santos, it is a cesspool. I should be able to walk into a shop, alone and pull my weapon and demand the cash. I should be able to shoot the shopkeeper and TAKE what i want because im a bad mamajama. However thats a 187, a murder with malice aforethought "Malice aforethought" means the killer "with wanton disregard for human life, does an act that involves a high degree of probability that it will result in death.". This should trigger the Death Penalty. So now if ive not worn a mask then im on CCTV and every cop gets my ID and description. If i do wear a mask then i still have a flag on me that for example only pops up when stopped by police. Thus turning the criminal bad mama jama into a super cautious civilian for x amount of time till the heat dies down. Ive made money, ive not ruined anyones day but an NPC and lifes good. Get caught and you get executed, full death RP, obituary and news report in the weazel news the whole nine, and that char is gonzo! all money all contacts all everything. This would go for killing players aswell. So yea sure you can walk up to someone and pump rounds into them for no reason, but if you get caught you are done. 10 RL hours in jail followed by your last 450 Taco and then its goodnight Vienna. There are however flip sides to the discussion! i tried to live the work a day civilian life, i really did, i even saved up and bought a Car and when i say a car i mean an unmodded Ingot station wagon because who the hell comes to a new city and drives a Postal van or Cash Truck but has the money for a supercar? I have been robbed and killed so many times in shit RP situations that my guy had enough, i stole a bike and was on my way to sell it when i was pulled by the cops, we had some great RP even if the one cop kept using ooc to tell me he had mistakenly kicked me IC but i was using it as good RP and trying to crack on with it, police brutality etc i found it interesting when i was in the back of the squad car that the cops seemed very surprised that i stopped. Well im a decent RPer and i knew that in real life it was an impossible situation so i gave up. Then i got a ridiculous sentence in prison for a first offence i was stunned, thrown in a room and left doing pressups for hours (RL hours i might add) which lead me to miss and IC meeting with a group i was meeting. Now to my point PRISON SUCKS and im not saying that in a cry baby dont do the crime if you cant do the time way im saying that its so bad it makes me never want to comply with police ever again, suicide by cop is now a better option than jail. Im not saying make Jail more fun or less of a punishment im just saying that anyone who goes to jail will come out and either never break the law again or never stop for cops again. Which in fairness is a fair description of the justice system now i think about it lol. Overall though ive enjoyed my time on the server and i hope to meet more people and get some good RP going p.s. Oh and also the one time i did have a gun in my hand (legally purchased with a licence i might add) someone tried to mug me, i hit him 3 times in the chest bam bam bam perfect grouping centre mass....he walked right through that and killed me with one hit of a golf club...mmkay
