  1. Big up Oti. Love you.
  2. +1 Please fix the current situation for crims. Nothing but heavy nerfs removing the ability to get the basic of most weapons. Just getting harder and harder to play as crim + the additional disadvantage of having to spend ridiculous OOC hours if you're caught. Crim should always be more rewarding as playing legal due to the higher risk.

  4. Thank you for such a forthwith answer. I appreciate your utmost honesty in your statement above and I appreciate you being able to reinforce my opinion albeit your experience being parallel to mine. Eclipse RP would benefit greatly with such honest faction members as yourself. Kudos. It's not often you see this reciprocated.
  5. @FatherOsborn So you're telling me there's no way a house fire can be diverted and that at this point criminals are basically fleeced when their drug labs are guaranteed to detonate within 24 hours? Be prepared for a house raid every time no matter the scenario. I highly recommend that the chances of labs detonating is reduced significantly in order to win over the current crim community. Everyone who placed a lab 24~ hours ago would not have them right now.
  6. @FatherOsbornFurther to my post above, Why was my stash emptied as per a normal house fire? When I say the following this is the context surrounding it; Law Enforcement officers are already required to submit search warrants reviewed by their Chief and then one of the 4 Commissioners before they can raid a property (property as in business, house etc). The only other time they can raid a property is if they have probable cause, which is heavily enforced In Character" I woke up this morning and my door was rammed down. A floating red stash spot was raided (almost like they knew it would be a house stash.) This to me seems unreasonable due to all evidence being destroyed in a fire (when the drug tables blow, all the drugs on the vicinity of the floor are burned and destroyed.) What basis did they have to raid my property? There are SO MANY rules restricting criminal movements, but are PD now realistically allowed to act above and beyond what most gangs would do regarding the recent changelog? This is a problem that's going to deter a lot of people from using labs.
  7. UPDATE: After a day of continuously running the labs, I woke up this morning to discover that my tables had exploded. Now if you look at the profit mark-up, the drugs I manufactured pre-detonation will only sell for 32k. The tables alone cost me 7.5k each. That's 2k profit before detonation with my house left unlocked overnight for anyone to raid. This isn't even taking into account the cost of the materials purchased from Humane. I am ultimately at a loss. The chance of detonation is too high. I won't be using labs until a fix is put into place. When they were released NBDY declared that there is a very low chance of explosion, however, it seems like if you use the labs they are almost guaranteed to blow up within 24 hours. This is not the system we asked for.
  8. @FatherOsborn I understand absolutely however all criminals can interject on your argument to come to the same conclusion that these rules are not always adhered to. To know they are punishable if not followed would make us feel a lot more confident with our roleplay. There has been times where sheriff's have patrolled chopshops, and maybe rolled by the same drug lab 6-7 times waiting for shots or something along those lines which the majority of the time cannot be avoided. Cops are humans too, and like criminals they may get bored and look for action. We cannot bait cops all the same (not like we want to) so why are they allowed to do the same with us? For example, there was an instance today in which a full squad of SED members attended a trailer in which an explosion occured. It was quite obvious the commanding SED officer wanted in on the trailer. The FD responding had told the SED that it was a small house fire which was now handled. The SED member had then stated "Why is there such a large criminal presence?" There was not. We were in an unmarked vehicle (all black Schafter V12) and there was only 3 of us on scene. It's times like this that make the criminal community quite nervous with change. To know that officers know what's going on inside the building is uncomfortable to an extent but to see them persevering to access the property just angers me entirely. Bare in mind this was 5-10 minutes after the initial explosion. They had time to suit up and respond which is more than likely what happened. Feels like there was a lot of metagaming involved which starts us off on a wrong foot with community standing.
  9. HI there, Thank you for reading my post. I wanted to put this forward to the community to get your input on the brand new drug lab system. Obviously the system has some teething issues that are now beginning to settle in. During my time creating this post I will be compiling a list of improvements you've put forward, hopefully that will be taken into consideration by developers. For anyone thinking that these suggestions carry no weight, please take a look at my previous post. I don't think it's any coincidence that the new drug lab system has taken some of these suggestions into account; So the suggestions; -The ability to grow weed AWAY from static locations & possibly at home (or on already owned properties/properties with building access.) This obviously has its own risk completely. -Deduction of risk of explosion (whether this be skill based or down to an artificial element.) During the first day of these labs being heavily used, there were multiple explosions in which FD responded to. (One instance in which SED turned up. It makes you consider why SWAT would turn up to what looks like an ordinary house fire?) Keep in mind that when the labs explode, there are no traces of the labs left behind scriptly. -Some kind of ruleset applied to Law Enforcement Officers to stop random house raids/busts for drug labs. There are going to be PLENTY of new players that acquire these labs that don't often have the money to invest in a second property. This would stop them from losing every asset they have in their house. Much like PD officers have an unwritten rule for chopshops and old static drug locations. It's nice to know these are rules that are generally applied but I can speak for all criminals when I say they're not always listened to. -Potentially lower the amount of time it takes to cook drugs, or add bonuses to batches etc based on the amount of people present in the room. This would ultimately increase risk but increase benefits from each cook. Naturally, this would make sense due to the cook being supervised/improved based on skill levels etc. Altogether I think it'd be more beneficial to have rules surrounding cops for once to give criminals a bit of an advantage when it comes to potentially losing hundreds of thousands worth of dollars for a risk that wasn't really worth it. Please note this is an unfinished list. This will be added on to as time moves on. PLEASE PLEASE post a suggestion below no matter how minor you think it may be. Remember this is a system that us criminals HAVE ASKED FOR, so please let us maintain the system by putting forward your ideas. Thanks guys.

With Skinny recently perfecting a brand new strain of marijuana, he was eager to pitch a sale to set up supply lines with other gangs in order to push his new product. He had created his own strain of weed which was a spin on Sensemilla, It was a seedless crop which would become tainted by the very presence of other plants due to its own reproductive nature. It was sustainable and the haulage from each crop was bountiful. He had spent the whole week, moving between his plantations to manage his crops and ensure that they were receiving the due care they required. He had become inspired by figureheads in criminal agricultural progression which spearheaded his entire project. It was growing season and Skinny definitely wasn't wasting any time. With his harvest now successfully flowered and picked, he was left with a problem on his hands. It was a particularly large, 18 wheeled problem that was sitting behind his house hotboxing the block. He had a truck full of weed he needed to move and fast before the cops caught on to what he was doing. The smell was so potent that his neighbours were coming out of their houses fucking baked. He got on the phone to Deandre who he planned to meet at the West Coast motel. Deandre didn't seem enthused about the whole idea of moving weed, especially with the heat that they currently faced after holding police commissioners hostage. He didn't want the bud. Simple. Skinny had to move on. He had another idea. He decided to head down to the NLA Church in Paleto with Draymond, Ricky Brasco and a pre-prospect who decided to tag along to arrange a potentially large business deal. He met with Juan Moto on a nearby pier who was inducting some pre-prospects. They decided to talk business. Skinny had left the meeting in high hopes. Juan loved the idea of cutting the time they spend at labs in half and maximising their profit. Skinny had successfully a supply line with the Mexicans which he hoped to maintain. All he had to do now was wait for the call. Skinny's phone rang. The meet was set up. 20 minutes, Zancudo airfield. The boys convoyed up and moved out after palletising almost 600 kilos of marijuana. The truck was on the road with multiple heavily armed vehicles in tow. They were ready to annihilate anything that stood in their way of this deal. They pulled up to the Zancudo airfield. The money had moved hands. The doors of the truck swung open revealing a beautiful fucking sight. More weed than you could imagine was now moving from truck to truck. The bags were loaded up into the Mexican's vehicles and they had dispersed from the drop point. It was a HUGE success.
  14. When you say gangs are ran by admins/mods there's about 1/2 possibly 3 at a push current moderators/staff members that engage in criminal roleplay. This is just derogatory. A lot of people within the community work hard for their positions as official faction / gang leaders. If you've really come into this community thinking a couple of hours of playtime a week is going to overthrow factions that GRIND to be where they are then you're seriously wrong. With a server consistently holding 400+ players a day have you ever thought that your playstyle is the reason you're so frustrated? "Oh, another thing I noticed, when some official factions get into shit, and leave their vehicles behind cause they had to escape...etc The cops NEVER check who owns the car or for fingerprints. That would make it so there friend on another char gets arrested. Ofc they dont want that." What server are you playing? Every time i'm arrested my car is impounded following all the other implications of being a criminal, but we suck it up because shit happens. I have a tonne of friends who play as cops but adhere to the RP standards put in place. None of your statements have any type of evidence to back your claims. This is merely a post swamped with opinions without any type of context. That's all it will ever be. Just a thought.

An explanation to the lifestyle of a malicious criminal made easy. With Skinny spiralling into a downward surge of aggression following his hunt for power and material wealth, his temper begins to wear thin with those that seem to be vulnerable to his unreasonable behaviour. Skinny had gotten into trouble. He had been on the run for more than a week with more than 6 active felony charges, some of deadly intent. He had been mixing with Ricky Brasco who had seemed to defuse a lot of situations but even so he was noticing that Skinny had a tendency to behave in a risque manner. He wasn't making this easy for himself but that's the way he seemed to enjoy it. He would target anyone that seemed to rub him the wrong way. Unfortunately this was the mass majority of Los Santos with the exemption of very few and his infamous family. Skinny knocking the nose of a 'government worker.; The day began with an initial stir near Police Impound. By stir I mean all out warfare. Skinny had discharged his firearm into the face of Dezzy Bala more than a few times. Ricky had noticed his unsteady partner in crime firing out the window like a lunatic and floored the gas. They were on the run once again. This later caught up with them whilst they were attempting to change their clothing at Vespucci Mask store. Jay Bacon had stepped out an unmarked Paragon capturing Ricky. Skinny foresaw this happening. He left the scene as quick as possible. The chase then lead to Tom Brown disabling Skinny's vehicle. He quickly tossed his firearm out the window in the process. Skinny was fucked. He was caught. Their run from the law had ran thin. Skinny's luck had expired and they were now at the mercy of the Penal System. The lads were looking to now leave the life of crime behind them. Nah i'm just kidding. Were they fuck. Why the fuck are you still reading?

    Los Zetas

With all out war ongoing with the Vory Mafia, the Los Zetas decide to take a step back from spending their ammo on a meaningless foe and instead concentrate on the industry they've come to be familiar with. This trade would ultimately be the supply and trafficking of narcotics. To begin the day, Enrique 'Skinny' Gaviria would assemble with a few other heavy hitters within Los Zetas. He meets his friend Ricky Brasco and they set out on a long haul trip to Sandy Shores. Altogether they would pool in and collaborate a large amount of cash so that they could purchase over $1.4 millions worth of firearms for a monumental deal that was set to take place in the afternoon. They hop into the back of Purm's Burrito after meeting close to the old Los Zetas store and begin the trip. Skinny takes out some of his favourite cuban cigars and passes them around on the way up to Blaine County in solidarity with his life long compadres. After the journey has concluded they hop out of the burrito and head inside. The plug sets up a meet after hours in a private gun store so that the meeting would seem less suspicious and more legitimate. They stack up the bags, handing out the orders to Los Zetas soldiers who then store their newly obtained weapons in their deadly personal armory. They return to Purminelli's house after a long six hour journey back to Los Santos and conclude the arms deal. All parties are happy and the Los Zetas are more equipped than ever to deal with the never ending spam of pointless enemies. After the end of the arms deal, the Los Zetas set out to complete another transaction, only they wouldn't be buying anything this time. They would be offloading a 300 kilograms of Columbia's finest Cocaine which was shipped in from Guadalajara to some known associates within the West Coast Assassins. The deal would be headed by Jonathan Purminelli and Larry Wrozsek with the guidance of Wolfgang Reeves, Enrique 'Skinny' Gaviria, Liam Gunarr and Jay Gamble. They set out to an unknown trap house in order to cut up the coke, ready for sales. The lads spend a formidable length of time, carefully packaging their bricks of coke and making sure that it's only the finest quality and weighed correctly. They readily await the call from WCA. All of a sudden Purm's phone rings... The drop off is ready. The boys load up the van and then set off to the collection point to complete their transaction. Once they arrive at the drop point the gents climb to the top floor to complete their drug deal. Their is an atmosphere of solidarity looming as this wasn't the first nor will be the last transaction with West Coast Assassins. Andre King would be the receiving client of this batch of fine Colombian. He sets up with his boys, the two leaders eye to eye. Jay Gamble steps forward, firmly shaking Andre's hand in allegiance to the life of crime they both serve. With the money and drugs both changing hands, Andre King and the Laurie brothers head out. The evergrowing bond between these two factions is apparent, cementing Andre and Jay's friendship even further. The money is flowing but on the other hand so is blood in the streets. This is something the Los Zetas mustn't forget. The night begins to draw to an end. Enrique sets out to meet the accountant at the Los Santos bank. Even though the cash was gained illicitly, he has a plan in order to wash the money clean by laundering it through the Tavern's social night. He is faced with the problem of re-opening the tavern and attempting to justify $100,000 in revenue to make sure there are no questions regarding taxation. He faces a problem he must go alone.

With the recent events occuring with the Zetas now refusing taxes, war was on to everyone's dismay. Noone could've predicted the lives lost. Both sides took heavy hits with the Los Zetas once again prevailing. We were unstoppable. With Skinny's return to the Los Zetas after a few weeks of spending time in Vice City, he gets stuck in the only way he knows how. The Rooks were intercepted up near Paul's Farm during a joint operation with Triads to finish what the Rooks had started. They had taken both Tyler & Rex Rogers at gunpoint and were now issuing demands to weigh the value of their lives. Unfortunately, their leader had abandoned them. Refusing to comply with any demands that Bruce Wong was giving them. The ultimatum was there. It was clear that these guys were going to lose their lives and ultimately everything they'd built. Conversation went on for hours until a conclusion was finally drummed. Tyler had been beaten, badly to say the least. Rex was on thin ice, having his stash house raided by Dwayne Donovan and Bruce Wong in recompense for the guns and ammunition used in prior gunfights. Once the score was settled a plan was drawn out to let Rex and Tyler go with the opportunity of reforming the rooks as it was now clear that the problem was their leader. Dmitri Leroy. Enrique 'Skinny' Gaviria now saw an opportunity to make things personal and to show that old blood is never forgotten once forgiven. He heads to the foundry with the help of Fregothy and they begin fashioning a brand out of molten steel. One that the Roger's brothers will never forget. They smelt some of Los Santos finest steel and cold press it into a memorable shape. Freg and Skinny both lift heavy barrels, dusting the powdered iron from their pants. The brand read 'NO ROOK' and was permanently pressed into the Roger brother's necks. This will be something they will never forget.
  18. Hi. I feel like this has been said time and time again, however, I wanted to offer my take on the suggestion below and give some general suggestions of how this could be formatted. Context Since switching from crim to a legal character (Sheriff's Department) a couple weeks back, I've noticed the following points stand out as far as Legal v Crim goes; People call the cops on drug labs that they can't cook at out of spite. The drug labs don't regenerate for hours and hours thus killing RP for both sides. Legal factions have no calls to respond to because of decreased activity up north and crim financial gain is very limited to the point where they resort to robbing each other in the city. SD are very reluctant to discover drug labs. This is because we know they don't regenerate for hours and the reason for discovering the drug lab could be very very petty such as a new player calling the police on large gangs operating at labs. Crims are at a FAR BIGGER advantage with the following punishments; financial loss, long prison sentences and RP limitations. I already know what you're thinking - "Crims shouldn't commit crimes if they don't want the long sentences" - Imagine from both sides how flat the RP potential could be if there were no crims actively committing crimes. For all law enforcement RPers, have you never felt that the city was far too quiet and boring? Overall I believe the implemention of mobile drug labs would propose the following benefits; More depth to the RP of smaller gangs and more potential of growth. At this moment in there is not a lot of growth opportunities for smaller gangs due to sanctions added by larger gangs. If smaller gangs had the opportunity to chip together and purchase drug lab equipment you would have several different responsibilities as such. Imagine the following benefits to RP for both sides; Dwayne, Ed and Michael decide that the legal route isn't for them. They decide to make some quick cash in the shadows of larger gangs. They all band together and chip in what they have, amounting up to 150k+. They are relatively new players so getting caught at a static lab would be financially and morally crippling for them. They make some Meth on the stove at Dwayne's apartment after purchasing some chemicals from a drop off point. Ed's job is to drive the Phantom that he already had to and from the supply store located near the Foundry. Dwayne's house is ALL THE WAY up north near Paleto, he has a trailer that he purchased to protect him from being discovered by police. Michael's job is to cook. It takes 8 in game hours to cook one batch (2 real life hours) which provides them with $22,000 for a full cook. The labs are expensive, so once Dwayne, Michael and Ed have enough money, they can buy another lab. However, they will need additional gang members to help them cook these drugs, establishing a financial foothold. Now Ed, Dwayne and Michael know that their drug equipment is not up to the same standard as the established drug labs located around the map. Whilst their cook is on the stove, they head to the static labs to try and make some cash. It is risky business as other gangs know the locations too. Whilst they are at the static lab, the cook begins to burn as they've been away from their house for a long period of time. IB gets a notification through OOC means (similar to ammo drops) notifying them of a strange chemical coming from a property. They raid the house and dismantle the drug lab. (This would provide responsibilities and care to the people operating the labs, presenting a risk but not overpowering mobile labs meaning people don't just AFK cook overnight.) Now Ed, Dwayne and Michael notice the price of drugs driving down due to competition in the area (3 drug drop offs around the map that fluctuate in price depending on how many labs are selling in the vicinity.) so they gear up to go and take down a rival gang's drug lab that their new prospect Oscar had been scouting out. Different cooks require different materials. You can set the purity of the cook which takes considerably longer and overall price of the drug increases/decreases depending on the time it takes to cook. Locationally, we could have the following; Chemical Depot; (Drug Materials are sold here. The pricier the sell, the more expensive the ingredients.) So how would the following benefit current roleplay?; Smaller gangs would have a chance to commit to a higher level of discreet financial gains, while allowing the bigger gangs to control static locations. More care and consideration would be applied when driving into HQs mid-pursuit (this is something we see happen regularly.) More RP and conflict between gangs that might be pumping out large drug volumes (contest for better pricing in their locations. It's like turfs really.) More RP prospectives and potential for gangs as an overall (to have people as dedicated cooks, runners etc.) To give PD and SD more in-depth rp, whilst maintaining action at the static locations. More danger and hunger to actively bust drug labs and give IB more to get their teeth into. Hopefully with this introduction new players would be allowed financial gain rather than being stuck at static locations where the OOC risk of long hours in jail and huge financial loss is present. They also face suppression from bigger gangs before they're allowed to get a foothold within the server. Most being demoralised within the first couple of weeks due to large scale robberies of their firearms. Please let me know your thoughts and comments on this post. I wanted to share an idea and a sort of work flow as to how I think things would work better. Chebbidy
  19. I think it's a good idea, but i think it should only become an item if someone wants to take it from you. I can't see going to get a license from DMV being useful the amount of times some people die, however, I feel like it should stay tagged to you until a criminal does /takelicense from you. Then it becomes an actual object. Don't know if I explained that correctly but w/e

    Los Zetas

The Legacy of Skinny Gambino... From Lost MC to Los Zetas. Originally residing in Blaine County, Sandy Shores, Skinny was a troubled youth from an early age. Growing up in a family with an absent father and an addict mother he often found himself fighting for survival by any means necessary until he grew up and hit the streets for every penny they had. Growing older Skinny found himself within the brotherhood ranking of a motorcycle club that was beginning its own chapter within Blaine County, the Lost Motorcycle Club. Holding it's own in territories such as Liberty City, Skinny met with Johnny Klebitz who assigned him with the task of growing a prosperous chapter within the baron sands of Blaine County. He ran with his brothers for years, taking money from whoever had it. They stuck up stores along Route 68 and even smuggled packages into Bollingbroke Penitentiary for fallen soldiers until one day Skinny's life changed forever... With his brothers, Skinny one day had planned an attack to raid Los Santos Customs in order for them to steal a rival gangs custom built choppers to take them off the streets for good. It was within this raid Skinny was horrifically injured by third degree burns after a pipe bomb was thrown at his vehicle mid-escape. His custom built Tornado Rat Rod was blown to shreds. He had lost everything including his lifelong brother Clay who had been killed by a mechanic with a size 10mm spanner. All seemed done for Skinny. He had nowhere to turn to... After recovering from his injuries, Skinny set out to rebuild his life the only way he knew how, through bloodshed & brutality. He found a new place to reside within Blaine County, it was a liquor store slightly west of Sandy Shores Medical Center to which he felt at home. Sure, people would come and go, but it was within these total strangers he would find lifelong friends and brothers. These strangers would soon enough become acquainted to Skinny as the Los Zetas who soon took him under their wing with the help of Reece Curry. With Skinny moving onto greener pastures, he continues to build his foothold within the Los Zetas, meeting and greeting figureheads of all standings. He adapts to new business techniques to add money to the factions treasury to ensure that him and his brothers prosper. He also hopes to climb the ranks to one day lead his brothers into battle for both victory and valour. Known as a getaway driver especially, Skinny hones his wheelman skills down to an absolute tee allowing him to evade the law consistently, to stay free and honour the wishes of those he once loved the most. Love & Respect. L&R.
  22. I was caught by a police officer a few weeks back for (admittedly) running into the bank with a .50 on my waist. Usually this is a regular thing for people to do when they run in and get their salary / deposit money etc. Nonetheless I had a bag on to conceal it but it was well spotted by the officer. Fair play to the cop that detained me and removed my firearms from my person, as well as confiscating my mask. Couldn't really argue. I was caught red handed. Maybe PD have a specific role to play in helping make NCZs better? It doesn't always have to be OOC changes. I agree with what people stated above in regards to players wanting to roleplay. Imo people standing on cars and behaving irrationally can be seen as breach of the peace. We can probably start there.
  23. Lovely pursuit. Some great tactics used by LSPD.... Made SD look like shmucks I fought the law and the... law won.
