A Day with Humberto, Nardo & Joe

Operation: Store Raid

This is my 14th day in the server and I got a house and cars that fit my character's starting RP which I basically copy pasted (except the appearance) from the "Humberto Umbracato" character in the old SAMP RP server I used to play at. The server's a great time killer that gives me nostalgia of the 7 years that I played in the famous old SAMP RP server. Do I still fully commit like I used to? (Everyone who knows me from "you know what" server - knows how I "fully commit" to a server) Probably not. After years of RP-ing and /almost/ seeing it all, I have to say that the magic is gone. Merry Christmas to everyone!

The Birth of a Set

Chapter I "The Birth of a Set" Episode 2 - Lil Pump and his Lil Farm Humberto and Bo met up with a guy in the Lowenstein community. He's their close neighbor named Willy. After a brief talk, he expressed his desire to join the set. Due to his crazy ass dreads, the duo decided to call him Lil Pump. To prove his worth, Bo and Humberto took him to Braddock's Farm. They proceed to teach him how to farm Marijuana Their farming got interrupted after a man named Lenny trespasses the farm Humberto, posed as a guy named "Jimmy", lets Lenny leave the farm. The crew then proceed to the farming. ~ To be Continued ~ TL:DR : Willy aka Lil Pump joined the Set OFFSCREENED: Stefka left the set

Chapter I "The Birth of a Set" Episode 1 - The Intro Humberto and Bo are close friends in the City, they met up with a guy named Stefka claiming to be a "Vice Lord". Humberto called up to meet Avon and was given the opportunity to be fully initiated. Bo and Humberto decides to set-up a crew. They set up Humberto's House in Roy Lowenstein Blvd. as their base of operations and de-facto turf. A brief meet-up with Stefka and a girl named Joy happened and they decided to join the set. First robbery as a group. Doin' business for the upcoming set. ~ To be continued ~ TL:DR : Humberto and Bo joined the Vice Lords. Their nameless set was founded with 2 members and 2 Associates

Gotta agree with my man Winterfield right here. These arguments along with this: has it's pro's and con's and I can totally relate to them deciding to show minimal but more into a edited/theatrical type of RP pics. To cite an example, there's a gang in a SA:MP server that I used to play at, called Syndicate. I'm was a part of it and lead it. There's is one rule in their lore that they are never called "The Syndicate" IC-ly. "The Syndicate" is only a term used for OOC type of interactions (such as OOC Turfs called Points). IC-ly, they are to be called "Jack's Packaging Company". One day, we started to make a RP thread for Syndicate which has the RP pics that you want LFB to show. After a week of good work and positive feedback from the server, a bigger problem arises in-game. We suddenly got gangs that we haven't interacted raiding our turfs non-stop 24/7, including the hidden ones. We took it as an IC issue at first but it came to the point wherein gangs just started calling us "The Syndicate" out of nowhere. One thing's clear here though. The RP thread became a bible for Metagamers in-game. Just like what NateX said it himself, this could happen: So we after that, we settled on unto more "discrete" type of RP pics in the RP thread, which then to a lead to a backlash similar to this thread. So it's a type of pick your poison type of thing to be honest. Now it's up to the Faction Team and LFB themselves to fix the issue. Nice thread to call them out though. Makes everything transparent.
