The council maintained control of the city for months through lies and deceit, and in their latest bout, they looked to levy a tax against the Assassins at a moment that they saw as opportune: while we were fighting another crew. Triads and Zetas came to WCA's home in numbers never seen before, seventy strong altogether. They made wild claims of transgressions that were literally impossible. Their demand was simple, an impossible amount of drugs weekly, or war. The proposition was discussed, and it was decided that unlike past cases, in which they had legitimate grievances, and reparations were made, we would not pay up for lie. We would not pay up out of fear. We met up with another group in the city who felt in a similar way about the council and their ways, and we struck an agreement. Day 1 of the war started with a raid of the Zetas HQ, as a couple of their drags drove about and radio'd in our presence, they wouldn't dare to challenge us as we took their vehicles. The chopshop was happy to take in the fine class of vehicles, and once again, they would not challenge us in the field. Later into the day, after calling upon the services of the LSPD to move us from Grove Street, they finally dared to fight us, at a neutral location. They wanted a fight, and they'll get the fight of their lives.

From the post it seems that this will come back when there is a way for you to do it yourself, rather than having to rely on founders to do it manually. It seems very reasonable.

Volunteering themselves for a case-study in cognitive dissonance, the FYB continue to boast that they're winning the war while simultaneously refusing to fight. The night started with a meeting between WCA, Triads and Zetas about the current state of affair in the city, and specially our response to recent LSPD issues. A meeting spot was selected and the new marching orders were relayed to the soldiers, who prepared for the long hunt to follow. The first prey of the night actually dared to venture somewhat close to Grove Street, and was quickly put on his back for his trespassing. This particular Balla kept running from the Bank, to City Hall and back to the Bank, until 8 hours later when he realized that we will not give up, he just walked out of the camera zone and surrendered. Making a deadly mistake, the driver of the Cognoscenti took our order to stop as a request, and got his two friends killed before he was taken to be taught a lesson. His car was chopped, and he was forced to drop the colors at gunpoint, while being relieved of his older clothes. John Corsetti decided that instead of wasting time, he would walk down and surrender on his own accord. He was very surprised when new clothes were brought for him, and refused to hand over his old clothes. As a gift to our friends, we took a captured Balla to the Pink Cage and forced him to dance for a couple of female Triads, who greatly enjoyed the show. Towards the end of the night, we found a Balla as he was attempting to refill an ATM with cash, and quickly took him to the back of the store. In a surprising misfortune, a second Balla was tasked to refill the same ATM, at the same time. They were both forcefully relieved of their purple. With night coming to an end, all of the Ballas in town were lured to the dam and subsequently robbed, and all of their vehicles chopped.

The gallery looks very nice for personal housing. Have you worked on business-type properties before? If not, is it something you'd be interested in?

PD Barriers unrealistic RP ( Remove or change scriptly)
alexalex303 replied to WindEZ's topic in Archive
I think it's unreasonable to expect people to drive the speed limit during chases. We're not talking about people hitting them randomly, we're taking about their uses to stop chases. People take their risk, and sometimes they hit other cars, walls, and other stuff. I personally feel that when I hit a wall, or a car, I'm like "I fucked up. I'm going to prison but I'm going cause I fucked up." When a piece of furniture loads just in front of my car at 200 km/h, it doesn't feel like I messed up, it feels like I got cheated. That's the issue, I think. -
PD Barriers unrealistic RP ( Remove or change scriptly)

Not sure if that is the goal, but in my experience, that's usually the result. They render in too late for the driver to slow down, and it usually ends up with the driver injured, ejected out the car. -
All memes aside, I think most of us know @Z0thian is a great roleplayer. Looking forward to seeing many interesting and amusing RP scenarios from this group.

Despite the Ballas propaganda machine working over-time, the facts on the ground remain shameful. An entire gang of people afraid, unable and willing to fight. Front Yard Bitches. Tyrone was caught repping purple with no gun, no radio and no dignity. He dared to look us in the eye and said that this part of his winning strategy. Two Ballas were cruising by Grove Street, when a random managed to down them both, most likely because their combined ammo count was five bullets. The two unfortunate souls decided to rep purple, and after a pursuit they jumped out of their cars, once again, weaponless. One of them was so kind to inform us of their strategy: avoid all fights and just keep running. In grave despair and with fear in his heart, a Balla decided to hide behind the cameras at the LSB, and then climbed to the roof, standing on the ledge. An Assassin said in jest: "Maybe he's gonna kill himself cause hes got no hope left in this city." On the other side, things couldn't be better. Having acquired a gated property in Grove Street, and with almost the entire cul-de-sac under their ownership, they now stand as an immovable object in Grove. The gang gathers round in front of their new HQ and partakes in some cocaine, courtesy of Ace. It's partying time. Late at night, within the walls of their headquarters, select friends gather to wish a happy birthday to Anthony Laurie. All lies and hater dreams aside; Grove is green. Now and forever.

Locked into a disagreement over fair pricing with a local store owner, the gang decided to blockade the Grove Street store and not allow anyone to shop there. Following an influx of snitching from random people, the LSPD became aware of this, and started making arrests at the store. Detectives also took interest in the peculiar situation. The Assassins would not relent from the task, and continued to remain at the store, in spite of efforts from law enforcement to get them moved. During one of the raids, a detective and two uniformed officers decided to stay behind to lockpick vehicles, with seemingly no fear of being in that location. We held them up and issued them an ultimatum: If you come to Grove, come heavy, or don't come at all. They took the advice to heart, and SWAT routinely deployed to the location of the store. High ranking members were arrested, and tensions further escalated. Morale would not falter, and the police would not be allowed to have a victory on an away game. The gang gathered, and braced for the next raid. Ignoring the advice of the Assassins, three lone cruisers attempted to raid the gas station. The result was devastating. Police bodies peppered the streets all the way from MD to the cul-de-sac. Grove Street is not safe for you. Come heavy or don't come at all.

There is no point because the dirt doesn't sync. It's client-sided.
-
I believe it is a bug and they are instead ordering 12,600 liters, and a 0 is added by accident to the end.
-
I've owned a gas station before. The maximum fuel in a station is 20000 liters.
-
This might actually be a bug, I suggest making a bug report and the developers will check. 65000 fuel is more than a gas station can have (20k max) @Ultra3D

If we're moving away from the mentality of losing and focusing on roleplay, why not add /pw for official factions at their HQs. Realistically well established gangs would be able to arm themselves, and this would allow both sides to focus on RP and not worry about crippling losses, not just one side.

Andre was cooking at LSD, when we receives a phone call from a familiar voice, asking for a meeting. He complied and they pulled up in a shifty warehouse, where they were met by armed zetas. Andre and Jay greeted each other, and went straight to business. Mike was sent in, on account of his previous experience with the drugs. Having passed the Laurie test, money exchanges hands, and the groups went their separate ways.

"Veni, vidi, vici" Gaius Julius Caesar in a letter to the Roman Senate Andre and the rest of the WCA high command went to Grove Street and inspected the area, seeing much promise in the land. They bought houses, and in short order, this was their second home. Peaceful coexistence was offered to Ballas, who agreed to stick to their own business. A week later, it became clear to everyone involved that Ballas would not respect the terms of their deal, and continuously ran to WCA for help, as they were getting hit by randoms and Blatans. Grove Street would be the location of the meeting at which Tyrone received their ultimatum: leave Grove entirely, or go to war. They decided to leave, and relocated to Jamestown. The street was now as it should be, all green. However, it wasn't long before Ballas broke the terms of this deal as well. Several Ballas engaged in a shootout with WCA members that were attempting to evict them from Grove, and when a member of Ballas command, Josh, was approached to speak about it, he decided that Trucking was more important than our relationship.

I personally believe that the coma system was very good, and actually made people afraid to die. A monetary amount would have to work like taxes, based off your money. 50k to a person with 10 mil would mean nothing 50k to a person with 100k would mean too much All in all, there needs to be more consequences for dying. +1
